Juventus swap Kean for De Ligt?

https://www.football-italia.net/123734/juventus-swap-kean-de-ligt

Jun 29, 2018

Juventus could reportedly offer Moise Kean to Ajax as part of a deal for Matthijs de Ligt.

The Bianconeri are known to be interested in the young centre-back, particularly as Medhi Benatia could leave the club this summer.

It’s thought there is an agreement in principle with the player, but the 18-year-old will not come cheap.

According to Tuttosport, the Old Lady could look to lower the cost of the deal by offering Kean in exchange.

Ajax have shown interest in the young striker in the past, and both players are represented by Mino Raiola, which could make the deal more easy.

Rabiot had Juventus meeting

https://www.football-italia.net/123822/rabiot-had-juventus-meeting

Jul 1, 2018

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly met with Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United.

According to Paris United, the 23-year-old and his mother Veronique sat down with several top European clubs this summer.

The fiery figure has only one year left to run on his PSG contract and is not sure he’ll have a regular place under new Coach Thomas Tuchel.

Rabiot is known for his temper and clashed with Unai Emery over his tactical role, then publicly refused to be part of the reserve player list for France’s World Cup squad.

Even with his contract due to expire in June 2019, Paris Saint-Germain would still command a large fee in the region of €40m.

Higuain-Morata swap picks up pace?

https://www.football-italia.net/123872/higuain-morata-swap-picks-pace

Jul 2, 2018

The proposed swap deal involving Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain and Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata is reportedly picking up pace.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport and Premium Sport, the exchange ‘can happen’ as they are interested in bringing back Morata, while Higuain has been made available for transfer.

Furthermore, Maurizio Sarri – who was behind the Argentine’s best individual season at Napoli – would want a reunion at Stamford Bridge.

However, it is warned a deal can only happen if Chelsea appoint Sarri, at which point negotiations between the two clubs can ‘properly proceed’.

Morata scored just 15 goals for the Blues last season as he struggled for form and fitness, while Higuain has failed to fire the Bianconeri to Champions League glory in two campaigns.

‘Boateng & Lewy staying at Bayern’

https://www.football-italia.net/123885/boateng-lewy-staying-bayern

Jul 2, 2018

New Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac has warned Juventus that Jerome Boateng and Robert Lewandowski are going nowhere this summer.

Kovac was officially unveiled by Bayern on Monday, but the Croatian immediately had to fend off questions about the pair, who have been linked with Juve in recent weeks.

“Boateng? He’ll stay with us. I’ve already talked to him,” he affirmed.

“I coached his brother at Frankfurt and I’ll feel as good with Jerome as I did with [Kevin] Prince.

“Lewandowski? He has a contract with Bayern until 2021 and he’ll stay because he’s an important element for our club.”

Juventus give up on SMS

https://www.football-italia.net/123921/juventus-give-sms

Jul 3, 2018

Juventus have reportedly given up on Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, as they refuse to go above €70m.

The Bianconeri are among the clubs linked with the Serbian midfielder, but the Biancocelesti are believed to be asking for in excess of €120m.

President Claudio Lotito warned yesterday that the Aquile have no need to sell, and Tuttosport is now reporting that Juve have dropped their interest.

The Old Lady refused to go above €70m, which is a long way from Lazio’s asking price.

‘Llorente honoured to join Napoli’

https://www.football-italia.net/124095/llorente-honoured-join-napoli

Jul 6, 2018

Fernando Llorente’s agent has revealed that the former Juventus striker would be ‘honoured’ to join Napoli.

Llorente is expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer after a season of playing second fiddle to Harry Kane, and his agent-brother Chus talked up the possibility of the 33-year-old joining Napoli.

“We know nothing about any interest from Napoli,” he told CalcioNapoli24.

“Until now no-one has contacted us from Napoli or Tottenham, so I don’t have much to say about it.

“Of course, we’d be honoured to deal with the Italians because we’re talking about one of the top clubs in Italy.

“We’re talking about a top club, so it would really be a great honour if it was true that Napoli wanted him. “We absolutely won’t renew with Tottenham.

“Ancelotti? He’s one of the best Coaches in the world! He’s won virtually everything there is to win, there's nothing else to say about him.

“Joining Juve’s title rivals? Let’s slow down! For now, there are no negotiations.”

The Spaniard scored 27 goals for Juve between 2013 and 2015, winning two Scudetti and reaching a Champions League Final.

Juve ask Madrid for Marcelo too?

https://www.football-italia.net/124289/juve-ask-madrid-marcelo-too

Jul 11, 2018

After signing Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s reported Juventus could target his Real Madrid teammate Marcelo if Alex Sandro leaves.

The €100m buy, plus €12m in formation payments to his former clubs, is the biggest ever purchase from a Serie A club, breaking the €94m record set by Juve for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain in 2016.

According to Mediaset Premium, the bond between Juventus and Real Madrid isn’t done with yet.

If Alex Sandro were to receive another massive offer from Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester United or Manchester City, then the Bianconeri would turn towards Marcelo.

The Brazilian left-back just turned 30 and is under contract until June 2022, so would certainly not be cheap.

Could Pogba return to Juventus?

https://www.football-italia.net/124399/could-pogba-return-juventus

Jul 12, 2018

There are surprising reports that a clause would allow Juventus to bring Paul Pogba back from Manchester United for €60m, perhaps in an exchange for Alex Sandro.

According to Juventusnews24.com, there was an agreement in the historic €105m transfer that saw Pogba move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016.

It would give the Bianconeri the option of bringing him back to Turin for just €60m.

This figure could even become a straight swap if Manchester United were to come back in for left-back Alex Sandro.

Juve are determined to step up to the very top level in European football and proved it by signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for €112m, giving him a contract worth €30m per year.

If Pogba were to join as well as CR7, it’d automatically make the Old Lady favourites to win the Champions League.

It wouldn’t be impossible, especially as Pogba has an increasingly tense rapport with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

Juve keep track of Marcelo

https://www.football-italia.net/124405/juve-keep-track-marcelo

Jul 13, 2018

Juventus are giving genuine thought to a bid for Real Madrid and Brazil full-back Marcelo, assure Sportitalia.

The Bianconeri already shook up the summer by signing Cristiano Ronaldo for €112m and could reunite him with another Merengues player in Turin.

There have been reports about the Marcelo approach before, but Sportitalia insist there will be more proposals in future.

However, it would depend on Alex Sandro leaving and he has offers from Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea.

It’d be another very expensive move for Juventus, as Real Madrid want €50m for Marcelo and he currently earns €11m per year, making him one of the highest-paid players at the Bernabeu.

He turned 30 in May and is under contract until June 2022.

Atleti fight Juve for Godin

https://www.football-italia.net/124631/atleti-fight-juve-godin

Jul 17, 2018

Diego Godin has reportedly said yes to Juventus, but Atletico Madrid responded by offering him the same terms with a new contract.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Uruguay international defender is open to joining Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin this season, as the Old Lady make a definitive push for Champions League glory.

He has seemingly agreed personal terms on a three-year contract, by which point Godin would be 35 years old.

Atletico Madrid are determined to keep hold of him and along with a very high transfer fee to put Juventus off, are also ready to match these terms with a contract extension to June 2021.

Godin has been an Atleti star since 2010 and his current contract is due to expire next summer.

Tuttosport: Pogba wants Juve return

https://www.football-italia.net/124642/tuttosport-pogba-wants-juve-return

Jul 17, 2018

Tuttosport claim Paul Pogba wants a return to Juventus just two years on from his €105m transfer to Manchester United.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, the World Cup winner is tired of life under Jose Mourinho and is ready to move on.

Much like when he left Juve for a return to Old Trafford in 2016, he is eager to stick with what he knows and that means the Bianconeri.

The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid has undoubtedly shifted the power balance in European football and made Juventus among the favourites to win the Champions League.

Tuttosport suggest it’s enough to sway Pogba into requesting another experience at Juve, having gone from free agent to superstar in four years.

Pogba was filmed joking with Blaise Matuidi in the aftermath of the World Cup Final victory over Croatia, as his teammate asked him if he would return to Juventus.

“Aaaah, the Old Lady! The Old Lady!” replied Pogba with a grin, as the pair spoke on social media in Italian.

Atletico want €20m for Godin

https://www.football-italia.net/124652/atleti-want-€20m-godin

Jul 18, 2018

Reports continue to circulate that Juventus have an agreement with Diego Godin, but Atletico Madrid won’t let him go for less than his €20m release clause.

It was reported last night that there was a basic agreement with the centre-back on a three-year contract, with Atleti offering the same terms to convince him to stay.

Now La Stampa is backing those reports, stating that Godin has agreed a contract worth €4m per season.

However, Atletico have made it clear that any suitor will have to pay the Uruguayan’s €20m release clause, despite the fact his contract expires in June.

Chelsea rejected for Juventus duo

https://www.football-italia.net/124719/chelsea-rejected-juventus-duo

Jul 19, 2018

Juventus have reportedly rejected Chelsea’s first bid for Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain, believed to be around €90m.

New Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has worked with both players in the past, and they have been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Higuain appears to be surplus to requirements after Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing, while Rugani hasn’t managed to hold down a regular place in Max Allegri’s side.

According to Premium Sport, Chelsea presented an official offer of €90m yesterday, but it was swiftly rejected by the Old Lady.

Juve value Rugani at around €40m, while they want at least €60m for Higuain to avoid making a loss on him.

The Blues will therefore need to pay at least €100m to get the pair.

Juventus formulate SMS offer

https://www.football-italia.net/124947/juventus-formulate-sms-offer

Jul 25, 2018

Juventus could reportedly offer €90m plus Marko Pjaca to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but only if they sell Miralem Pjanic.

The Bianconeri are keen to sign the Serbian midfielder, but have been put off by the Biancocelesti’s €150m asking price.

However, it has been speculated that they’d sell Pjanic if Manchester City or one of his other suitors were to offer over €100m.

According to Corriere di Torino, SMS is the top alternative to the Bosnian, and the Old Lady is prepared to offer €90m plus Marko Pjaca.

It’s not clear if that would be enough to convince Lazio though, with President Claudio Lotito known for his tough negotiating.

Juve want Hernandez on loan?

https://www.football-italia.net/124941/juve-want-hernandez-loan

Jul 25, 2018

Juventus are reportedly interested in taking Real Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez on loan for a season.

According to Marca, the Italian champions have already made an offer to the Santiago Bernabeu club for the 20-year-old.

The young Frenchman is highly thought of by Los Blancos and made 22 first team appearances last season.

Although he was largely used as an understudy to regular left-back Marcelo, the Spanish daily says Real have no intention of selling Hernandez on a permanent basis.

However, they may consider allowing him to leave temporarily in order to gain more regular first-team football.

Los Blancos’ La Liga rivals Real Sociedad are also thought to be interested in Hernandez’s services.

Agent: ‘Viola, Samp great for Pjaca’

https://www.football-italia.net/125693/agent-‘viola-samp-great-pjaca’

Aug 3, 2018

Marko Pjaca’s agent hopes the current ‘issues’ blocking his client’s move from Juventus to Fiorentina can be resolved.

The Viola remain locked in negotiations with the Old Lady over the Croatian winger, who is surplus to requirements in Turin.

The two clubs are thought to be in agreement over the player moving to Florence on an initial loan deal, with Fiorentina then having the option to sign Pjaca permanently next summer.

However, there are said to be disagreements over the breakdown of the fee, with Juve wanting more for the initial loan than the Artemio Franchi club are currently offering.

And during an interview with website Sportface.it, Marko Naletilic confirmed Sampdoria are one of a number of other clubs who want to sign the 23-year-old.

“Fiorentina are still interested in him,” the agent revealed.

“Some issues have come out, but I hope they can be resolved.

“There are a lot of other teams who are interested in him, but Fiorentina and Sampdoria would be great solutions for him.”

Pjaca to Fiorentina done

https://www.football-italia.net/125714/report-pjaca-fiorentina-done

Aug 3, 2018

Fiorentina are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Marko Pjaca from Juventus, who will retain a buyback option.

The Viola have been pushing to sign the Croatian winger all summer, but talks stalled as the Bianconeri wanted a permanent transfer with a buyback clause.

The Tuscans were only willing to offer a loan with option to buy, but both Sky and calciomercato.com are now reporting a deal has been agreed.

Fiorentina will take Pjaca on loan for €2m, and will have an option to buy for €20m at the end of the season.

Juve will have a counter-option though, and that would allow them to sign Pjaca back for €26-27m.

The player himself pushed to move to Florence rather than Sampdoria or Leicester, and has agreed on a five-year contract, the latter four years of which will be triggered once Fiorentina take up their option to buy.

Juve: Barca make Pogba offer

https://www.football-italia.net/125812/juve-barca-make-pogba-offer

Aug 6, 2018

Manchester United have reportedly rejected an offer of €50m plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes from Barcelona for Juventus-linked Paul Pogba.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, United are not prepared to part with Pogba for his footballing ability and ‘image’ as the club’s figurehead.

Furthermore, the Red Devils would have only three days to source a replacement for the French World Cup winner.

Speculation had intensified that Barca were plotting a sensational swoop for the 25-year-old, while centre-back Mina is understood to be a target for Jose Mourinho’s side.

It also comes after Tuttosport recently claimed Pogba was pining for a return to Juve.

Favilli to complete Genoa switch

https://www.football-italia.net/125853/favilli-complete-genoa-switch

Aug 8, 2018

Andrea Favilli will undergo a medical at Genoa today before completing a move from Juventus that could be worth a total of €12m.

The 21-year-old will move to Marassi on an initial €5m season-long loan, with the Rossoblu having the option to sign him outright for a further €7m next summer.

In the event the forward does make his move to Genoa permanent a year from now, Gianluca Di Marzio reports Juve have inserted a buy-back clause into the deal.

This would give the Old Lady the option to re-sign Favilli for €21m after one year, or €24m after two.

According to the transfer expert, the deal is done and the contracts have been signed.

Favilli will now undergo a routine medical this morning before officially completing his move.

The youngster featured prominently on Juve’s pre-season tour of the United States, scoring three times for Max Allegri’s team.

Rabiot setting up Juve move?

https://www.football-italia.net/126062/rabiot-setting-juve-move

Aug 12, 2018

Adrien Rabiot is ready to reject a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain so he can join Juventus for free, claims L’Equipe.

The fiery midfielder has been in several debates with PSG in recent years and this summer is no different.

His current contract is due to expire at the end of the season and that means he’d be available to negotiate a deal with a different club from January.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Rabiot will turn down the offer of an extension with Paris Saint-Germain so that he can become a free agent.

Barcelona are also interested and could make an approach for the 23-year-old.

Tuchel: ‘Rabiot could leave’

https://www.football-italia.net/126128/
tuchel-‘rabiot-could-leave’

Aug 13, 2018

Paris Saint-Germain Coach Thomas Tuchel isn’t sure Milan and Juventus target Adrien Rabiot will stay - “Adrien must make a decision”.

The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the current season, and both Italian sides are keen to sign him in a cut-price deal.

“I don’t know, it’s Adrien’s decision,” Tuchel shrugged when asked about the situation in his post-Caen Press conference.

“I explained the situation in Singapore. His contractual situation is clear, he still has one year on his contract.

“I like working with Adrien and I’m convinced he has the potential to be a top, top player for PSG.

“He’s an academy player, and in my mind it’s very important that we have players from Paris who came through the youth system.

“The situation is what it is though. Adrien must make a decision, he has to confirm that he wants to play for the club.”

Marcelo won't comment on Juve

https://www.football-italia.net/126173/marcelo-wont-comment-juve

Aug 14, 2018

Real Madrid full-back Marcelo refused to comment when asked if he could join Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus. “This is not the time.”

The 30-year-old Brazilian is very good friends with Ronaldo and has been heavily linked with a reunion in Turin.

Speaking in a Press conference ahead of the European Super Cup against Atletico Madrid, Marcelo was asked specifically about these rumours.

“I don’t want to talk about that now. We are here for a Final and this is not the time to discuss it.”

If Marcelo were to arrive at Juventus, it would likely mean Alex Sandro moving on to Paris Saint-Germain.

Marcelo has been in Madrid since January 2007 and is under contract until June 2022.

Tuttosport: Pogba to Juve in Jan

https://www.football-italia.net/127398/tuttosport-pogba-juve-jan

Aug 31, 2018

Paul Pogba wants to force through a Juventus move in January due to his poor relationship with Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, claims Tuttosport.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, Pogba is so determined to reunite with his old Bianconeri teammates and join the Cristiano Ronaldo-backed project that he is prepared to bail mid-season.

It would be an extraordinary twist in the tale, especially as Juve and Manchester United are going to face off in the Champions League group stage.

Due to the new rules laid down by UEFA this season, that wouldn’t make Pogba cup-tied if he were to switch teams for the second half of the campaign.

The 25-year-old France international is now a World Cup winner, but he was a teenage free agent when joining Juventus from Manchester United in August 2012.

He returned to Manchester for a then-world record fee of €105m plus bonuses in 2016, but his relationship with Mourinho deteriorated to the point of breaking down completely.

The Bianconeri have set their sights firmly on winning the Champions League this term, ending a 22-year drought in Turin.
