Roma join Schick race

http://www.football-italia.net/103081/roma-join-schick-race

May 24, 2017

Roma have made a surprise approach for Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick, but Juventus remain in pole position, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The 21-year-old Czech Republic international has been a sensation in his debut Serie A season, scoring 13 goals with three assists in 34 competitive games, most of them off the bench.

According to this evening’s reports, Roma director of sport Monchi and Ricky Massara met with agents Pavel Paska and Bruno Satin today in Milan for over an hour.

They enquired as to the situation with Schick, who has a release clause worth €25m, but Samp want to keep him on for another year to help him reach full maturity.

It seemed to be an initial approach to discuss options, but Juventus remain the hot favourites to sign Schick, especially as they would be happy to leave him on loan at Marassi until 2018.

Inter had initially been in the lead for his signature, but Juve surged forward, while there is also interest from Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.

Roma had been very close to Schick last summer, but in the end he opted for Sampdoria because they guaranteed more regular playing time.

Juventus show interest in midfielder Renato Sanches?

/news/report-juve-show-interest-in-sanches_298903.html

May 24, 2017

Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches could be offered a transfer escape route by Italian giants Juventus, according to a report.

The 19-year-old was handed just six starts under Carlo Ancelotti during the 2016-17 campaign, leading to talk of a summer move away.

Sanches was promised by Ancelotti that he will be used more often next season, but Corriere dello Sport claims that Juve are to test Bayern's patience by tabling an offer.

Juve have already signed Mehdi Benatia from the Bundesliga champions on a permanent deal this month and are said to be hopeful of making that a double swoop.

The same report suggests that Ancelotti has replacements in mind, and would even be willing to offload Douglas Costa if a bid is made.

Sanches made 17 appearances for Bayern in the German top flight overall this season, while Costa featured from the off on 14 occasions.

Samp reject Milan Schick swap

May 24, 2017

Milan also asked Sampdoria for Patrik Schick, but tried to offer Gianluca Lapadula plus cash, whereas the Blucerchiati want €25m straight up.

The 21-year-old Czech Republic international is the hottest property on the transfer market in Serie A this season after scoring 13 goals in 34 competitive games, many of them off the bench.

Juventus and Inter have already been duelling for weeks, while Roma made an approach to Schick’s agents today.

Now Sky Sport Italia note that Milan also met with Sampdoria directors to enquire about the striker and are prepared to offer cash plus Lapadula.

However, the Blucerchiati replied that they will only accept the €25m release clause as a cash sum.

Samp will favour clubs who are ready to leave Schick on loan at Marassi for one more year.

Morata agrees Milan deal?

http://www.football-italia.net/103098/morata-agrees-milan-deal

May 25, 2017

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Milan this summer, according to reports.

Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that the former Juventus man has decided not to wait for offers from Chelsea and Manchester United, instead giving the green light to a €7.5m per season deal from the Rossoneri.

Milan chiefs will now have to deal with the club over a fee for the Spaniard, who has failed to find regular playing time in Zinedine Zidane’s side.

The 24-year-old has scored 15 goals along with four assists in La Liga this term, making just fourteen starts in addition to 12 as a subsitute.

Morata also scored the winning goal for Juventus against Milan in the Coppa Italia final last season.

The offer is said to be in the region of €60m, with executives looking to replace Carlos Bacca in the summer window.

Napoli in the hunt for Schick

http://www.football-italia.net/103103/napoli-hunt-schick

May 25, 2017

Reports suggest that Napoli are the latest club ready to make an offer for star Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick.

Inter, Roma and Juventus are all said to be in the hunt to land the 21-year-old after his superb breakout season, scoring 11 goals in mainly substitute appearances.

The Czech international has a €25m release clause in his contract, leading to clubs desperate to land his signature.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has already offered €19m for the youngster, and is set to meet his Samp counterpart Massimo Ferrero as part of a series of meetings planned in Milan this week.

The Blucerchiati have expressed a desire to offer a new contract to the player, in order to increase the release clause, but may struggle to keep him amidst such heavy interest.

In this regard, Juventus would be seen as the favourites to land Schick, as they are said to be willing to leave him on loan at Sampdoria for next season, as they have already done with Mattia Caldara at Atalanta.

Ferrero: 'Schick stays another year'

http://www.football-italia.net/103115/ferrero-schick-stays-another-year

May 25, 2017

Sampdoria owner Massimo Ferrero insists that star striker Patrik Schick 'will stay for another year'.

A whole host of clubs have been reported as interested in the 21-year-old, and Ferrero confirmed this to the Press.

"Schick? In all honesty I’ll say that Juventus, Inter, Napoli, Roma and Milan are interested," the owner told reporters at the opening of the new Sampdoria youth academy. "In addition to other foreign teams that I can not recall.

"Samp will keep him tight and in any case, if someone takes him, the agreement will be that they let the boy stay another year here because he has yet to be fully developed.

"In Genoa all is well, there is the sea, the sun shines and I do not see where he would want to go.

"Who is ahead of the others? It’s a question of €100m, the ones are that are ahead are those who will put their money where their mouth is!"

Juventus dive in for Fabinho

http://www.football-italia.net/103127/juventus-dive-fabinho

May 25, 2017

Juventus are prepared to intercept the Manchester City-Manchester United derby for Monaco midfielder Fabinho with a €30m offer.

The 23-year-old has been one of the key figures in Monaco’s success this season, reaching the Champions League semi-final – eliminated by Juve – and winning Ligue 1.

While the two Manchester clubs seem to be leading the pack when it comes to Fabinho, Calciomercato.com claim Juve were biding their time.

This ties in with the recent drop of Bianconeri interest for Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Corentin Tolisso, as it appears they were evaluating Fabinho instead.

The offer on the table will be made soon for €30m plus performance-related bonuses.

All three sides will be in the Champions League next season, as Manchester United won the Europa League last night and earned their place.

Brazilian Fabinho made 55 competitive appearances for Monaco this term, scoring 12 goals with six assists.

JUVENTUS JOIN RACE ALONGSIDE MANCHESTER

UNITED TO SIGN RENATO SANCHES

http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2017/05/25/transfer-news-juventus

-join-race-alongside-manchester-united-to-sign-renato-sanches/

May 25, 2017

Juventus are reportedly set to rival Manchester United in signing Bayern Munich midfield starlet Renato Sanches.

According to a report by Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport, Manchester United’s pursuit of Renato Sanches is likely to be hijacked by Juventus as the Italian club looks to strengthen its midfield.

The youngster has not had the best of starts under Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich, making only 17 league appearances over the entire season. He could be nearing a sudden exit from the German club as two top clubs prepare to battle it out for him.

Renato Sanches was pursued by Manchester United last summer, but the 19-year-old chose to join Bayern Munich instead. Prior to that, he played for Benfica and even played an integral role in Portugal’s Euro 2016 victory.

In fact, after playing his part in Portugal’s 2-0 semi-final win against Wales, Sanches became the youngest player to feature in a UEFA European Championship final – and subsequently lift the trophy. Unfortunately for the promising youngster, his progress has stagnated at Bayern.

However, with Manchester United and Juventus vying to sign the midfielder, Sanches will be looking to get back to action soon.

Newly crowned UEFA Europa League champions Manchester United will need to recruit more players before the new season. The club’s attack and defence have been good enough, but the midfield was a mess on several occasions.

Michael Carrick is rumoured to exit the club, and Jose Mourinho will need a replacement. Although he has players like Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini, the Portuguese manager will need another option as they will have bigger challenges to face next season.

Sanches is physically quite strong and not shy when it comes to scoring as demonstrated during his Benfica spell. United are in need of a midfielder like him who has the pace and skill to engage in attacking runs.

It might seem a bit odd that Ancelotti is looking to sell both Sanches and Douglas after Xabi Alonso’s recent retirement. However, it has also been reported that the German club are seeking to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

Renato Sanches can prove to be a quality addition to either club but considering Manchester United’s needs at the moment, the youngster can get the break he’s been waiting for. The Red Devils’ midfield can use new and fresh talent, and Sanches can bring all that and more.

However, Jose Mourinho will have to act fast and swoop in to sign the player before Juventus makes a bid to do so.

Borussia Dortmund pursue Schick

http://www.football-italia.net/103141/borussia-dortmund-pursue-schick

May 25, 2017

Borussia Dortmund have made a big step forward in the race for Sampdoria hitman Patrik Schick, but Juventus remain the favourites.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Germans decided to ramp up their pursuit of the striker, who has a €25m release clause in his contract.

They see him as a potential heir to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is considering huge offers from abroad, including Paris Saint-Germain.

Dortmund are also in the Champions League and he’d be relatively close to his homeland, the Czech Republic.

However, Sky note that Schick seems intent on remaining in Serie A after just one season in Italy, so Juventus are still the favourites.

Above all, the Bianconeri would leave him on loan at Sampdoria for another year.

Inter, Milan, Napoli and Roma have also shown an interest in the 21-year-old, who scored 13 goals in 34 competitive appearances, many of them off the bench.

Tottenham Hotspur are also contenders in the Premier League, but seem to have fallen behind in the race.

http://www.football-italia.net/103152/milan-appoint-juventus-scout

May 26, 2017

Milan will recruit Stefano Luxoro of Juventus to head up their scouting department, according to reports.

A Chinese group, Rossoneri Sport Investment, has taken over the club and are putting their own team in place behind the scenes.

Following on from CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli, SportItalia reports that Luxoro will arrive from Juve as the new head of the scouting department.

The scout currently works under Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici in Turin, and the Bianconeri have been praised for their canny transfer dealings in recent years.

Juve, Spurs and Atleti want Lemar

http://www.football-italia.net/103213/juve-spurs-and-atleti-want-lemar

May 27, 2017

Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid are preparing offers for Monaco attacking winger Thomas Lemar, claims L’Equipe.

The 21-year-old already has two senior caps for France and plays primarily on the left side of attack, although he can also do well on the right or in a trequartista role.

This means he would fit perfectly into Max Allegri’s 4-2-3-1 formation in Turin.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Juve are tracking Lemar for a summer swoop, though they face competition from Spurs and Atletico Madrid.

Under contract until 2020, this season Lemar contributed 14 goals and 17 assists in 55 competitive games for the Ligue 1 winners.

Inter back in Keita chase

http://www.football-italia.net/103216/inter-back-keita-chase

May 27, 2017

Inter are back in the race for Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao, but Juventus remain the favourites ahead of Milan and Napoli.

The Senegal international’s contract is up in June 2018 and he does not seem intent on signing an extension.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have revitalised their interest in the 22-year-old after it had waned in recent weeks.

Milan became the primary antagonists to Juventus with their offer for the versatile striker, who can play in a central or wide role.

The Rossoneri are preparing a double swoop for Lazio pair Keita and Lucas Biglia, although the offer on the table is €40m compared to President Claudio Lotito’s €55m request.

Inter are now in the battle too, seeing Keita as the ideal heir to Ivan Perisic, but Juventus remain the favourites.

Juventus meet with agent of Di Maria and Paredes

http://www.juvefc.com/juventus-meet-agent-di-maria-paredes/

May 27, 2017

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici met with Pablo Sabbag, agent of Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Goal.com, Paratici met with Sabbag in Rome as the Bianconeri are interested in both players with a view to a summr transfer.

Paredes confirmed that Juventus attempted to sign him in the winter transfer window, recently telling Goal:

“I was close to Juve on two occasions and I did have the opportunity to go there, but I stayed at Roma to show what I can do.”

Sky Sport suggest that despite the midfielder turning down a move to Juve, the Bianconeri may try again this summer as the club are especially interested in the 22-year-old Argentine.

Sky also suggest that Juve have taken the opportunity to enquire about the availability of 29-year-old Angel Di Maria who looks set to leave PSG in the summer. Despite Juve’s interest, competition is expected to be fierce in the race to sign the winger as Inter are among the many sides keen on the player.

Juve fined over Pogba-Man Utd move?

http://www.football-italia.net/103233/juve-fined-over-pogba-man-utd-move

May 27, 2017

Juventus are expected to face a €60,000 fine over Mino Raiola’s cut of the €105m Paul Pogba transfer to Manchester United.

According to Mediapart and L’Espresso, the FIFA investigation is complete and they asked for the Turin giants to be fined over the situation.

Raiola is reported to have received €27m from Juve in that deal, another €19.4m from Manchester United and a further €2.6m from the player.

This is due to a conflict of interest, as Raiola was simultaneously Pogba’s agent and the consultant for both Juventus and Manchester United.

Raiola is believed to have earned €49m from the situation with a series of banned bonus and commission fees, making the agent a form of ‘third party’ ownership deal.

The whole situation emerged in a German book called Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football.
