Marca: Juve option for Ronaldo

https://www.football-italia.net/122659/marca-juve-option-ronaldo

Jun 8, 2018

Marca reports Juventus are an option for Cristiano Ronaldo if he leaves Real Madrid this summer.

According to the newspaper, Ronaldo ‘flirted’ with Juve on the night of his overhead kick, when Madrid beat the Bianconeri 3-0 in the Champions League quarter-finals.

However, it warns they face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich, with whom the Italians ‘are not on par financially’.

Furthermore, a poll on Marca’s website saw just three percent of readers vote for the Scudetto holders as the Portuguese’s next destination.

Juventus offer Ronaldo contract?

Conferme dall’estero: «La Juventus fa sul serio per Cristiano Ronaldo!»

https://www.football-italia.net/123911/juventus-offer-ronaldo-contract

Jul 3, 2018

Spanish sports newspaper Marca outlandishly claims Juventus are offering Cristiano Ronaldo €30m per season to leave Real Madrid.

The unlikely link between the Italian champions and the Portuguese superstar first surfaced in Tuttosport, and the newspaper repeats its claim on its front page today.

Now Spanish titles have joined the Turin sports daily, as Marca claims the Bianconeri are willing to offer a four-year contract worth €30m per season.

According to the newspaper, they have already contacted Real Madrid to try to work out a fee.

Ronaldo has a €1bn release clause in his contract, but it’s thought that has been lowered for clubs which don’t represent “direct rivals”.

It’s not clear if Juve would fall under that category, as they do compete in the Champions League against Real Madrid.

Nonetheless, Marca reports that Los Merengues have no intention of keeping an unhappy Ronaldo, who already has a verbal agreement with the Old Lady.

These stories must be taken with a pinch of salt though, as the figures mentioned would smash the Bianconeri’s wage structure.

Gonzalo Higuain is the club’s current top earner on €7.5m per season, so even if the €30m figure is gross rather than net - the latter is what is always reported in Italy - Ronaldo would be earning around €17m per season.

Adidas behind Ronaldo-Juve links?

Risultati immagini per CR7 passa da nike a adidas passa alla juventus

https://www.football-italia.net/123947/adidas-behind-ronaldo-juve-links

Jul 3, 2018

A change of sponsor from Nike to Adidas could be behind the rumours linking Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

The story first appeared in Tuttosport on Saturday evening for the Sunday morning front page, but has been gathering steam rapidly in the Spanish Press over the last 24 hours.

According to Calciomercato.com, the reason this is plausible is the role played by Adidas.

CR7 has been signed to Nike since 2003 and is their brand ambassador, paid a reported €24m per year.

Nike had also been kit sponsors for Juventus for 11 years before they changed over to Adidas in July 2015.

If Ronaldo were to consider a switch to Adidas, it would make perfect sense of him to join Juventus as part of a larger sponsorship strategy.

This would connect with Romanews.eu suggestions Adidas HQ were already drawing up a Cristiano Ronaldo Juve jersey.

Sky Sport Italia claim this evening that there are no genuine negotiations as such, but the Ballon d’Or winner let it be known Juventus would be an option if he were to leave Real Madrid this summer.

Meanwhile, much of his salary – reported to be €30m per year – would be paid by sponsors and the increased investment from Juve’s parent company, run by the Agnelli family.

O Jogo: Ronaldo wants Juve

https://www.football-italia.net/123956/o-jogo-ronaldo-wants-juve

Jul 3, 2018

Portuguese paper O Jogo now claim Cristiano Ronaldo has said yes to Juventus, amid reports of a €100m release clause in the Real Madrid contract.

The story first emerged in Tuttosport on Saturday night to little fanfare, but has gained significant traction in Spain.

Now Ronaldo’s homeland of Portugal are also giving genuine credence to the reports.

This evening, O Jogo claims with some confidence that Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted a move to Juventus and his rapport with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has broken down definitively.

On top of that, Mediaset Premium suggest agent Jorge Mendes got a special clause in Ronaldo’s contract allowing him to leave for €100m – but it is valid only for clubs in Italy.

The idea of Juve signing CR7 might seem implausible, but the reported €30m salary could be paid largely by sponsors and income from shirt sales.

Ronaldo-Juve odds crumble

https://www.football-italia.net/123992/ronaldo-juve-odds-crumble

Jul 4, 2018

The odds on Cristiano Ronaldo signing for Juventus have plummeted over the past 24 hours, as the story continues to gather pace.

When it first appeared on the front page of Tuttosport on Friday evening, it seemed improbable, but the idea of the Ballon d’Or winner leaving Real Madrid for Juve has genuine traction now.

Spanish and Portuguese media claim it’s a done deal, while in Italy the Press are more tentative, insisting it’s an idea in the early stages.

There are rumours of a €100m release clause in the contract that is valid only for clubs outside this group: Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Today Juventus director general Beppe Marotta further stoked the fire when asked about the Cristiano Ronaldo rumours and replied simply “no comment.”

The bookmakers in Italy are certainly running with it, because the odds on seeing CR7 in a Juve jersey have plummeted over the last 24 hours.

Snai went from odds of 10 to 1.83 in one day, while today they’ve dropped even further to 1.75.

Real Madrid call Ronaldo summit

https://www.football-italia.net/123998/real-madrid-call-ronaldo-summit

Jul 4, 2018

Real Madrid urgently called in Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes to discuss the Juventus offer and possibility of leaving.

According to Spanish paper Marca, the representative received a call telling him to be in Madrid by tomorrow to cover the situation.

The reports are continuing to grow that CR7 is on the verge of leaving Madrid after nine years for a €100m switch to Juve.

His rapport with Real Madrid, and specifically President Florentino Perez, has deteriorated over the past year.

It’s believed the Portugal international feels the club doesn’t respect or appreciate him beyond his financial status.

He also wants to be the highest-paid player in the world and is requesting a salary worth €30m per year net in Turin.

The English media mentioned a possible Manchester United counter-proposal, but Marca mentions a difficult relationship between Ronaldo and Coach Jose Mourinho when they last worked together in Madrid.

It would also be improbable if the Italian reports of a €100m release clause being valid only for certain clubs – excluding Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Manchester United – were true.

Meanwhile, after Juventus director general Beppe Marotta said “no comment” when asked about the Ronaldo rumours, now member of the Agnelli family Lapo Elkann has done the same.

“I won’t talk about Juve or football today, we’re here for the presentation of the new Fiat 500. We’ll talk about the rest tomorrow.”

AS: Ronaldo accepts Juventus offer
‘Ronaldo feels like a Juventus player’

https://www.football-italia.net/124036/‘ronaldo-feels-juventus-player’

Jul 5, 2018

Spanish newspaper AS reports that Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted Juventus’ contract offer, but Real Madrid want more than €100m.

The forward has been increasingly linked with the Bianconeri in recent days, and his agent met with Merengues President Florentino Perez last night.

According to AS, there has been an agreement with the Old Lady for weeks now, with CR7 accepting €30m per season.

Ronaldo is said to be determined to leave Madrid, due to disagreements with Perez and the club’s pursuit of Neymar.

At the moment though there is no agreement between the clubs, as Real Madrid want more than the €100m being offered by Juve.

La Liga expert Guillem Balague reveals “in his head, Cristiano Ronaldo is a Juventus player”.

The Bianconeri are working on a sensational €100m transfer to bring the Real Madrid forward and current Ballon d’Or to Turin, on wages of around €30m per season.

It has been suggested that FIAT will cover much of that with a sponsorship deal, thereby keeping the bulk of the cost off Juve’s books.

“In his head, Cristiano is a Juventus player,” Balague, who works for Sky Sports UK and AS among others wrote on his Twitter page.

“Juve has found a financial way to pay for his wages and fee. Real Madrid willing to let him go. No offer has arrived yet to Real, but Jorge Mendes has confirmed to Real that it will.

“He has never been this close to leaving. Will he?”

Allegri and Agnelli hold CR7 summit

https://www.football-italia.net/124030/allegri-and-agnelli-hold-cr7-summit

Jul 5, 2018

Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly returned from holiday to meet President Andrea Agnelli in Turin.

The Bianconeri are moving to sign Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, with reports in Portugal suggesting that a deal is only hours away.

Allegri had been on holiday in Trieste ahead of the new season, but TuttoJuve and Adnkronos report he has rushed to Turin to meet the President.

The pair will discuss the transfer market, with Ronaldo clearly the main item on the agenda.

Meanwhile, Sky Italia is reporting that Juve are increasingly confident of actually pulling off a deal.

The Bianconeri are awaiting a new meeting between Madrid President Florentino Perez and Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes.

Vieri: ‘Ronaldo like winning the lottery’

https://www.football-italia.net/124034/vieri-‘ronaldo-winning-lottery’

Jul 5, 2018

Christian Vieri is excited by the prospect of Cristiano Ronaldo joining Juventus - “for Italian football it would be like winning the lottery”.

The Real Madrid superstar is being increasingly linked with a stunning move to the Bianconeri, who are ready to offer €100m to get their man.

“For Italian football it would be like winning the lottery,” Vieri said on Bein Sports.

“People don't talk about Serie A much abroad, because there aren’t the superstars there were in the past. Ronaldo would revitalise it.

“Even I would be more motivated to watch the league, every Sunday the world would be wondering what Juventus did and how many goals Cristiano scored.”

Ronaldo in Turin on Saturday July 7th?

https://www.football-italia.net/124037/ronaldo-turin-saturday

Jul 5, 2018

Reports in Italy say Cristiano Ronaldo could fly in to Turin on Saturday for his €100m move from Real Madrid to Juventus.

The Portuguese superstar appears genuinely close to joining the Bianconeri, who are ready to pay his €30m per season wages.

Now SportMediaset is reporting that general manager Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici are ready to fly to Madrid by private plane to close a deal with Florentino Perez, the Madrid President.

Juve are said to be so confident of securing a deal, that preparations are already underway for his arrival in Turin.

Ronaldo could arrive at Caselle Airport on Saturday, before being presented at the Allianz Stadium the very same day.

Ronaldo already earned Juve €160m

https://www.football-italia.net/124055/ronaldo-already-earned-juve-€160m

Jul 5, 2018

Juventus are getting a taste of the Cristiano Ronaldo bump already, as the stock rose 22 per cent over three days, worth an extra €160m.

As reports continue to maintain the €100m deal with Real Madrid could be done as early as Saturday, many are asking how it’s possible for the Bianconeri to sustain his salary demands.

These are €30m per year net, which would be €60m per year gross, but a clue has come from the stock exchange over the last few days.

The Juventus shares have surged 22 per cent in three days, meaning the club capital has gone from €665m to €825m, report Calcio e Finanza.

The salary would also be aided by some of the other companies within the Agnelli family portfolio.

Their holding company Exor controls, among others, Ferrari, FIAT and Jeep.

As Cristiano Ronaldo has a collection of luxury cars, Il Sole 24 Ore and Mediaset Premium claim he’ll be made the global face of Ferrari.

That alone would bring him €20m per year and technically be outside the club’s salary structure.

It is a trick already used extensively by the likes of Paris Saint-Germain.

Ronaldo can bring €50m per year

https://www.football-italia.net/124061/ronaldo-can-bring-€50m-year

Jul 5, 2018

If Juventus pay €60m a year for Cristiano Ronaldo wages – before tax – they’ll get back €50m in increased revenue, claimed an economist.

The €100m transfer fee to take Ronaldo from Real Madrid isn’t the main concern at the moment, but rather the €30m net salary per year that he is commanding.

“As things stand, Juventus sell 19 million products and services with their brand on it, but the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona sell four to five times more,” economist Michelangelo Verna told Sky Sport Italia.

“That has to improve for the club to reach the next level and Ronaldo’s arrival would be a sign that is happening.

“If they were to pay him €60m before tax, it’d bring in around €50m per year in increased revenue.”

The Juventus shares have surged 22 per cent in three days, meaning the club capital has gone from €665m to €825m, report Calcio e Finanza.

The salary would also be aided by some of the other companies within the Agnelli family portfolio.

Tax law aids Ronaldo to Juve?

https://www.football-italia.net/124122/tax-law-aids-ronaldo-juve

Jul 7, 2018

Cristiano Ronaldo would benefit from a new tax law in Italy if he moved to Juventus after Real Madrid failed to defend him on a €19m tax evasion fine.

It’s widely reported that Ronaldo’s rapport with President Florentino Perez broke down definitively after the court case over tax evasion, which saw him given a two-year suspended prison sentence and €19m fine.

According to Il Mattino newspaper, a new tax reform law in Italy would benefit foreign players coming in to Serie A.

The Flat Tax introduced in 2017 was put in place to encourage foreign investors and celebrities to move to Italy, allowing them to pay a maximum of €100,000 on income from abroad.

That would include sponsorship contracts, capital gains and even real estate.

“This sort of tax situation was introduced to attract stars toward our league,” Legalitax lawyer Sergio Sirabella told Il Mattino newspaper.

“Italy is one of the few European countries that has such a favourable fiscal regime towards professionals of this calibre. The family members of players can also go into a diminished tax bracket, as €25,000 would be enough for them.”

Juve await CR7 all-clear

https://www.football-italia.net/124136/juve-await-cr7-all-clear

Jul 7, 2018

Juventus are staying silent on Cristiano Ronaldo until Real Madrid confirm they’ll release him for €100m, but the Spaniards want his public declaration.

Italian bookies have suspended bets on CR7 wearing the Bianconeri jersey this season, as they are so confident the deal will be done.

The timing is proving to be an issue, largely because of the tense situation between Ronaldo and Real Madrid President Florentino Perez.

According to multiple sources, including Marca, AS, the Corriere dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, the Merengues want him to come out and state he wants this departure, not that he was forced out.

Marca even suggest Real Madrid want him to sign a confidentiality clause barring the player from giving his version of events in future.

This is something the 33-year-old is not prepared to do.

Nonetheless, agent Jorge Mendes remains confident he can smooth out the situation and Ronaldo should make his statement via social media rather than in a Press conference.

Mendes is also sure the price will be €100m, as agreed in January, despite reports Real Madrid could jack it up to €120-150m.

The key for Juve is giving Real Madrid and Ronaldo time to make it a smooth transition and not rush it through.

Having said that, nobody told Ronaldo’s marketing team, as the Allianz Juventus Stadium appears in the background of the new Italian language version of the site, while the website advertising Ronaldo’s underwear range has a prominent photograph of the player standing in front of black and white stripes.

Calderon: 'Juve not strange for CR7'

https://www.football-italia.net/124145/calderon-juve-not-strange-cr7

Jul 7, 2018

Former Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon blames Florentino Perez for Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit, but “it wouldn’t be strange for him to join Juventus.”

There are multiple reports in Italy, Spain and Portugal that Ronaldo is coming to Juve for €100m, a fee set out in a gentlemen’s agreement between the Ballon d’Or winner and President Florentino Perez in January.

It was Calderon who brokered Ronaldo’s transfer from Manchester United in 2009, although he reveals it was done far earlier.

“We reached an agreement with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United in December 2008 to make the move at the end of the season,” Calderon told Tuttomercatoweb.

“It was only made official on July 6, 2009, but the details were all sorted out in December. At the time, Cristiano was decisive in negotiations, as he wanted to wear the Blancos jersey at all costs, but at the same time sought a peaceful exit from a club that he still had great respect for.

“After all, Real Madrid offer every player a unique opportunity to achieve more prestigious targets, both as an individual and a team. This means a great deal when you go to sign a top player.

“If Ronaldo were to leave Real Madrid, he’d leave a gap that would be impossible to fill. It’s not easy to find a champion who, along with participating in the overall team play, can guarantee over 50 goals per season. Ronaldo has been doing that for nine years and we mustn’t forget it.”

Can Calderon explain why Ronaldo seems so determined to leave the Merengues at this time?

“It’s a wide-ranging issue. President Perez has made some great decisions for Real over the years, but his problem is he doesn’t understand the right way to treat the inheritance left by others. It happened with the departures of Iker Casillas and Raul, two legends of Madridismo.

“When I took over, Perez tried to change or even break deals that we had made months beforehand. From that moment, a conflict was created with players that was never resolved. It culminated when Ronaldo realised Florentino did not value him the way he should.

“Ronaldo wanted a better salary, but that’s only normal for the best employee in a company. He was upset when the reports said Real were prepared to pay double his salary to Neymar.

“I hope Florentino Perez can convince Ronaldo to continue with Real Madrid, as the team, club and fans would be truly grateful.”

It seems that Ronaldo hopes he can end the 23-year Juventus drought in the Champions League.

“In terms of history, tradition and ownership, Juventus have for a long time earned the right to be considered one of the big clubs in world football,” continued Calderon.

“This is why it wouldn’t be at all strange if Cristiano should choose the Bianconeri. If he does, then Juventus will undoubtedly be a very fortunate team.

“This signing would allow them to further consolidate their superiority in Serie A and give them an extra gear in the Champions League too. Ronaldo is a huge opportunity and many clubs would love to have him.

“With his talent, technique and fitness levels, he also brings this permanent desire to overcome the impossible. In my long experience of football, I’ve known truly few players who maintain that ambition and obsession with pushing themselves to the max in order to be the best every single day.

“That will allow Ronaldo to continue at his current level for at least another four or five years.”

Juve ‘optimistic’ over Ronaldo who called Ancelotti

https://www.football-italia.net/124113/juve-optimistic-over-ronaldo

Jul 7, 2018

Juventus are increasingly confident that Cristiano Ronaldo will arrive from Real Madrid, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the Sky Sport Italia journalist, Juve ‘expect nothing but certainties on paper over the €100m’ they will pay Madrid from agent Jorge Mendes, after which point they will be ‘ready’ to close the transfer.

Furthermore, Di Marzio notes there have been ‘further signs’ since the morningthat Los Blancos will release Ronaldo, while the 33-year-old would have recently called new Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Sky claims the Portuguese ‘probably asked’ Ancelotti – his Coach at the Santiago Bernabeu between 2013 and 2015 – about what it was like to play in Serie A.

Juve must pay Ronaldo commission

https://www.football-italia.net/124153/juve-must-pay-ronaldo-commission

Jul 7, 2018

Juventus would have to pay €120m for Cristiano Ronaldo, as €100m goes to Real Madrid and €20-25m to agent Jorge Mendes, it’s reported.

According to Sport Mediaset, Mendes has agreed to ensure Real Madrid stand by the gentlemen’s agreement signed in January to let CR7 go to a non-rival club for €100m.

In return, the representative would receive €20-25m in various commissions.

It’s certainly not the first time that Juve have been made to pay massive commissions for players signed at relatively cheap prices.

Mino Raiola got a huge cut when Paul Pogba went from free agent to €105m sale to Manchester United, while this summer Emre Can cost around €16m in commission fees even when his contract with Liverpool had expired.

If these figures are correct, Cristiano Ronaldo would cost at least €120m, perhaps up to €150m, not to mention the €30m per year net salary he wants over a four-year contract.

Ronaldo and Juve set the date

https://www.football-italia.net/124159/ronaldo-and-juve-set-date

Jul 7, 2018

Real Madrid could announce Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure on Tuesday, paving the way for his €100m transfer to Juventus.

According to Mediaset Premium, the decisive day will be on July 10, when President Florentino Perez is set to chair a Board meeting.

At that event, he is expected to confirm Cristiano Ronaldo has requested a transfer.

Multiple sources in Italy and Spain continue to state Perez wants Ronaldo to make it clear in public that he is the one pushing for a move in order to seek a new challenge.

That is a non-negotiable part of the deal if they are to let him go at the cut price of €100m.

Meanwhile, the move will cost a lot more than that for Juventus, as agent Jorge Mendes is commanding €20-25m commission for brokering the transfer.

Add in the €30m per year net salary that Ronaldo is asking for and the Ballon d’Or winner will break the bank – but also bring in a huge amount through sponsorships, increased merchandising sales and general brand visibility all over the globe.

Final Ronaldo obstacle for Juve?

https://www.football-italia.net/124160/final-ronaldo-obstacle-juve

Jul 7, 2018

It is reported that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will raise his asking price for Cristiano Ronaldo, but Juventus will pay it.

A fee in the region of €100m was thought to have been agreed between the two clubs for the Portuguese.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning that Bernabeu boss Perez is set to lay one final obstacle in the way of the deal being confirmed.

According to the Italian daily, Perez will raise his asking price slightly at a meeting with super-agent Jorge Mendes, scheduled to take place this coming week.

The Madrid President will also reiterate his desire for Ronaldo to publically assume full responsibility for the transfer, should it go ahead.

The former Manchester United forward has been with Los Blancos since 2009, winning four Champions League crowns and two La Liga titles during his time in the Spanish capital.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is also now Madrid’s all-time record goalscorer.

However, he revealed in the immediate aftermath of his team's Champions League final win over Liverpool that his future at the Bernabeu was in doubt.

Now, it appears a matter of time before Ronaldo is unveiled by the Serie A champions.

Ronaldo turns down mega China offer?

https://www.football-italia.net/124168/ronaldo-turns-down-mega-china-offer

Jul 8, 2018

It is reported that Juventus target Cristiano Ronaldo has turned down an unnamed Chinese club, despite them offering him wages of €100m-per-season.

The Portuguese appears to be on the verge of joining the Old Lady from Real Madrid, with only a couple of details remaining to be ironed out between the two clubs.

However, Marca claims this did not stop a Chinese Super League club from making an audacious late offer to lure Ronaldo to the Far East.

The Spanish sports daily believes the unnamed club offered the 33-year-old a two-year contract on astronomical wages of €100m-per-season.

Despite the lucrative financial rewards on offer, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is said to have rejected the offer without hesitation.

Madrid President Florentino Perez is thought to be prepared to allow his club’s all-time record goalscorer to leave this summer, although Ronaldo must publically admit full responsibility for the decision if he wants to depart.

Ronaldo 'dedicated to work'

Cristiano Ronaldo “has an absolute dedication to work, both during training and off the field,” said ex-Juventus doctor Fabrizio Tencone.

The reports of an imminent transfer from Real Madrid continue apace, though some have questioned the wisdom of spending over €100m on a player who turned 33 in February.

Sky Sport Italia went to interview Tencone, who spent over a decade as Juve’s team doctor and now runs a chain of sports clinics.

“He seems a lot younger. He had very few injuries in his career and that is very important when it comes to sports medicine.

“From what I know of Ronaldo, he has an absolute dedication to work. His approach both during training and off the field goes beyond normal parameters. That has certainly helped make him what he is today.

“Watching him on the pitch, you can see that the gait when running, his pace and his jumping, are all extremely important. He dedicates a great deal of time not only to the strength of his legs and the torso, but also the hips.”

Evra: 'Ronaldo must join Juve!'

https://www.football-italia.net/124203/evra-ronaldo-must-join-juve

Jul 8, 2018

Patrice Evra advised Cristiano Ronaldo to quit Real Madrid for Juventus. “There is no other team he must join. It’s a sacrifice, because they work HARD.”

There are multiple reports a deal is done for €100m, as the Ballon d’Or winner wants to prove he can win the Champions League in Turin at the age of 33.

Former Juve and Manchester United full-back Evra was doing a live Instagram video when he spoke on the situation.

“Everyone asks me, Pat, what do you think? I haven’t spoken to Cristiano about this, but my advice is, if he wants to play to 2050, he has to go to Juve. There is no other team he must join. It’s simple.

“I thank Juve, because if after Manchester I continued to win and to run, it was thanks to Juve. You should never spit on the plate that fed you, so Juve will always be in my heart.”

At this stage, Evra flung his head back and started singing the club anthem at full voice.

“So Cristiano, I tell you this: make the right choice. You know how much the Italians love you, but it’s a sacrifice. If you go to Juve, it’s to work and to work HARD. This lot, ha, don’t know what a vacation is.

“But that’s the choice. Either you want to continue playing to 2050 or just carry on for a bit. I can tell you this. If you go to Juve, you’ll be at the next World Cup not as a mascot, but as a protagonist. A PROTAGONIST.”

Juve need Ronaldo patience

https://www.football-italia.net/124198/juve-need-ronaldo-patience

Jul 8, 2018

Juventus are waiting for Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid to work out an exit strategy, but confident they’ll sign the Ballon d’Or.

According to Sky Sport Italia, there are no concerns over the timeframe for this deal, as they have Ronaldo’s word he wants to join Juve.

There is a Real Madrid Board meeting on Tuesday and it was reported Perez could announce the transfer then.

Whether he does or not, reporter Gianluca Di Marzio assures the decision has been made.

The only issue now is getting it in writing that Florentino Perez will let him go for €100m, as agreed unofficially in January, with agent Jorge Mendes getting €20-25m in commission.

At the time, Perez believed it would open the door for a final pay day in China or America.

However, Ronaldo is motivated by success and believes winning the Champions League at Juventus would prove him the best in the world.

After all, the Bianconeri have repeatedly reached the Final and never won since their last triumph in 1996.

Multiple sources have stated that Perez wants Ronaldo to publicly confirm the departure is his decision, thereby taking the ‘blame’ off the President’s shoulders.

The Portugal international is currently on vacation in Greece with his girlfriend and family.

Sportitalia cheekily sent out a correspondent to Greece in order to present Ronaldo with a Juventus jersey, but it remains to be seen if he’ll succeed in that mission.

Bruno Alves: 'Ronaldo triumph at Juve'

https://www.football-italia.net/124194/alves-ronaldo-triumph-juve

Jul 8, 2018

Portugal international Bruno Alves is confident Cristiano Ronaldo will “triumph again at Juventus” after leaving Real Madrid.

Multiple sources expect the transfer to go through for €100m plus around €20-25m in commission for agent Jorge Mendes, while the player has agreed a contract worth €30m net per year.

“Cristiano Ronaldo will triumph again at Juventus,” Glasgow Rangers defender Alves told Portuguese paper O Jogo.

“There is no league where he cannot be successful. He has already proved that he can win in any country and Italy is no different.

“I am cheering him on, because Ronaldo is a testimonial for Portugal in the world. I was at his side during so many battles for 12 years and I know how much he can motivate himself. That’s important when accepting a new challenge.”
