FIGC investigates Suarez case :|

Indagine della Procura Figc sul caso Suarez: quali articoli interessano la Juve

Sep 23, 2020

The FIGC Prosecutor’s Office has, according to news agency ANSA, opened an investigation into the exam taken by Luis Suarez in Perugia.

The Barcelona forward flew to Perugia for the examination last week to acquire Italian citizenship. The Italian passport was needed for him to sign with Juventus as an EU-player, but his short visit alerted some suspicion.

La Repubblica claimed the Guarda di Finanza looked into the examination and reportedly discovered irregularities.

Colonel Selvaggio Sarri, who already investigated the University for ‘their less than transparent activities’, told Radio Punto Nuovo that the Uruguayan ‘was awarded a diploma for an intermediary level, but we discovered it was all predetermined’.

Colonel Sarri made clear to Radio Punto Nuovo that Juventus are currently not accused of wrongdoing. .....

Suarez investigation stopped

Luis Suárez swaps Barcelona for LaLiga rivals Atlético Madrid - AS.com

Sep 25, 2020

Prosecutors in charge of the investigation involving Luis Suarez and Juventus lawyers say it has been stopped for now due to too many leaks.

Luigi Chiappero and colleague Maria Turco travelled to Perugia today to defend their alleged roles in the Italian language exam that Suarez took prior to his proposed move to the club.

However, Sky reports the seven-hour meeting concluded with the prosecution opting to pause its probe for the time being.

According to chief prosecutor Raffaele Cantone, as per ANSA, the decision was made to reschedule following ‘too many violations of secrecy’. .....

7 moves Juventus need to make in the January transfer window

Juventus v ACF Fiorentina - Serie A

Dec 25, 2020

In the summer of 2020, Juventus took a massive risk and hired rookie coach Andrea Pirlo, despite the fact he'd never even managed his kids' Sunday League team prior to collecting the keys to Turin.

The Italian giants now find themselves languishing well behind league leaders Milan in terms of points and standing, and the pressure is firmly on the club legend to turn this nightmare start around.

Are we really surprised it hasn't worked out, though? ............

As the league table suggests however, there are still plenty of areas of concern for the Bianconeri hierarchy, heading into what could be a title-dependent January transfer window. Make the right moves, and Juve could be scooping scudetto number 10 in a row come May. Get it wrong, and Pirlo's head will be on the chopping block.

1. Sign Weston McKennie on Permanent Deal

Right Fabio Paratici mate, whip out that cheque book, write up a big fat bill for €18m, and hand it over to Schalke ASAP. Weston McKennie has been the saving grace of a floundering Juve midfield this season, and there are no doubts that he has the quality needed to compete in the upper echelons of Serie A.

So, while his move to Turin is currently temporary, and could automatically be made permanent based on the number of appearances he achieves over the season, Juve shouldn't even hesitate until the summer.

Sign him up.

2. Sort Out Paulo Dybala's Future

Widely considered the most technically gifted player in the squad, Dybala is insanely talented, if possibly misused by coaches unwilling to build a team around him. And with his contract set to expire in 18 months, the clock is ticking for the board to make an important decision.

La Joya wants to stay - but only for the right price. Will Juve gamble and pay Dybala what he desires, making him the star of the team, or cash in before his value drops with each passing transfer window? Gambleeeeeee!

3. Sell Federico Bernardeschi ............

4. Sign a Midfield Playmaker (Paul Pogba)

No matter what Pirlo tries or how he sets up his team, there is always something missing in his midfield. While McKennie has proven to be an inspired signing, the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot and Arthur Melo flatter to deceive.

What's needed is a man with some invention on the ball. Someone who can pick the lock of defences, glide with the ball at his feet and always provide an option for his teammates. Basically, Juve need Paul Pogba.

5. Recruit Attacking Reinforcements

I Bianconeri lack any serious strikers on the bench, so signing a young, hungry and proven striker must be a priority for Pirlo. Celtic star Odsonne Edouard has been linked with the Italian giants, and could be the ideal candidate to challenge and support the current forward line.

6. Find a Juan Cuadrado Alternative

Now, I don't want to go in too hard on Juan Cuadrado, because he's been a great servant to Juventus in a number of positions and roles over the years - BUT - there's got to be better out there. Especially for a team hoping to challenge for European trophies.

Cuadrado plays a unique position in Pirlo's fluid system, switching from a right-back to flying wing-back when in and out of possession, making his job a tough one to learn.

7. Replace Alex Sandro

Despite what FIFA19, 20 and 21 will tell you, Alex Sandro has not been an elite level left-back for a number of years. The Brazilian's performances have been so bang average over the past two or three seasons, and that just won't do for a player performing such an integral role in the system.

Juve need to land upon a plan for the winter. Either buy an accomplished left-sided centre-back who can operate out wide, or buy a left-back who can drop into the heart of the defence when needed. What Pirlo really requires is Leonardo Spinazzola, the man Juve sold to Roma in 2019, who is now the best wing-back in the league. Crazy business.

Juve agree Reynolds deal

FC Dallas' Bryan Reynolds named to US U-17 World Cup Team - Big D Soccer

Dec 29, 2020

According to reports from America this evening, Juventus have agreed a $10m deal with FC Dallas for Bryan Reynolds, who will then be loaned to Cagliari.

The defender had also been linked with Roma and Club Brugge, but the Bianconeri pushed their way to the front of the queue.

Still only 19 years old, Reynolds is a product of the FC Dallas youth academy.

According to ESPN reporter Taylor Twellman, a deal has been done for “a little more than $10m (including incentives) from Juventus, who will send him out on loan.”

Italian reports are all confident the agreement is with Cagliari to take Reynolds on loan for six months. .....

Genoa-Juve in talks over swap deal

Nicolo-Rovella.jpg

Dec 29, 2020

Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Genoa and Juventus are in talks over a potential swap deal including Nicolo Rovella and Manolo Portanova.

The Old Lady have been linked with the young midfielder in recent months, with the 19 year-old impressing in Serie A.

Portanova on the other hand has had limited minutes this term, picking up just 70 minutes of action in all competitions, and would most likely welcome a loan move.

The report doesn’t state whether the swap would be a permanent move for both however, but I would assume that Pirlo would be keen to keep both in the long-term. .....

Could Pirlo earmark the youngster for a key role in his side? Could he see some of his own playing characteristics in him?

Juventus consider Reynolds-Pavoletti swap

Leonardo Pavoletti - Spelersprofiel 20/21 | Transfermarkt

Dec 30, 2020

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Bryan Reynolds could join Cagliari on loan from Juventus in January with Leonardo Pavoletti moving to Turin until the end of the season.

The Bianconeri are reportedly close to securing the services of the FC Dallas right-back, although Roma and Club Burgge remain in the race to sign the 19-year-old.

However, if the Serie A champions sign Reynolds in January, they will have to loan him out as they have already filled two spots for non-EU players this season having already signed Weston McKennie and Arthur in the summer.

Therefore, Reynolds could join Cagliari on loan until the end of the season with Leonardo Pavoletti moving to Turin on a temporary deal until the end of the current campaign. .....

Juventus are set to splash out €9m on 19-year-old Genoa midfielder Nicolò Rovella, so we look into what they are getting.

Multiple sources state Rovella will extend his contract, which expires at the end of this season, and remain on loan at Genoa for the next six or possibly 18 months.

Juve are expected to pay €9m, which could include a player in exchange, most likely Manolo Portanova.

Rovella is a central midfielder who only turned 19 on December 4 and has nine Serie A appearances under his belt.

His idol is Luka Modric and Juve hope the confident young man can bring some of those characteristics to Turin in future, although he has also been compared to Rodrigo Bentancur. ...........

Juventus closes in on re-signing Milik permanently

Milik

According to reports, Juventus has reached an agreement to sign Arkadiusz Milik on a permanent basis following his loan spell with the club last season.

Milik, who played a crucial role under Max Allegri amidst various off-field issues, had a purchase option of 7 million euros included in his loan agreement.

The decision by Juventus not to exercise this option surprised fans, who had been impressed by the striker’s performances during his time at the club.

Initially, it appeared that Milik would not be returning to Juventus, with rumours linking him to a potential move to Lazio in order to reunite with Maurizio Sarri.

However, Football Italia has revealed that Juventus has opted to secure his services permanently by paying the required 7 million euros.

Bayern Munich offers a player to Juventus as part of their offer for Vlahovic

Pavard

Bayern Munich has displayed genuine intent in their pursuit of Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic, as the talented forward edges closer to departing Juventus in the current transfer window.

Vlahovic’s exceptional performances have attracted interest from various clubs across Europe, and Juventus may be compelled to cash in on him, especially after failing to secure a Champions League spot.

Juve is in need of funds to compensate for the loss of Champions League revenue, and selling Vlahovic could help them achieve their financial objectives.

Multiple clubs are vying to acquire the Serbian striker’s services this transfer window, with Bayern Munich emerging as one of the most determined suitors.

Recognising that Vlahovic will command a significant transfer fee, Bayern aims to sweeten their offer by including a player that Juventus might find valuable.

According to a report from Tuttojuve, Bayern is willing to include Benjamin Pavard in their bid for Vlahovic, hoping that Juventus will accept this proposition.

Chelsea includes talented youngster

in their offer for Vlahovic

Vlahovic

Chelsea is reportedly showing strong interest in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as they seek to secure a new number nine for their team.

Although Vlahovic has spent only one full season with Juventus, the team’s failure to qualify for the Champions League has raised the possibility of offloading him during this transfer window to generate funds.

While Juventus intends to retain the player, Chelsea will need to present a compelling offer to convince Vlahovic to make the move to London.

In an attempt to sweeten the deal, the Blues have included several players they wish to offload in their offer. The latest addition to their bid, according to Calciomercato, is Cesare Casadei.

Casadei, a promising young talent, recently joined Chelsea from Inter Milan and made a notable impression as Italy’s standout player in the recent U20 World Cup.

Which players will Juventus sign with money from Kulusevski’s sale to Tottenham?

Dejan-Kulusevski.jpg

With Dejan Kulusevski set to join Tottenham permanently for €30m, Juventus are set to finalise Arek Milik’s purchase and have targeted Timothy Castagne, Davide Frattesi and Fabiano Parisi.

Juventus and Tottenham have reached an agreement for Kulusevski’s permanent move to North London for €30m.

The Serie A giants will use part of this money to strengthen the team in the summer.

Talks with Leicester City for ex-Atalanta right-back Castagne have already started, according to Sky Sport and giornalaccio rosa, while Milik is set to return to Turin on a permanent transfer.

Juventus’ €7m option to sign the Poland international permanently expired on June 10, but according to Sky Sport and Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have reached an agreement with Marseille for a similar fee.

This new deal allows Juventus to sign Milik permanently by paying €1.5m immediately and splitting the remaining €5.5m in three instalments.

According to Tuttosport, Empoli‘s Parisi (left-back) and Sassuolo‘s Davide Frattesi are also on Juventus’ radars, but several top Serie A clubs want the Italian midfielder and Inter appear to be in pole position for his signature.

Juventus will not invest all the money from Kulusevski’s sale, needing more than €100m to balance the books this summer.

Juventus ready to pounce for Milinkovic-Savic

11467555.jpg.webp

La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport claims that Juventus would make a move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer should Adrien Rabiot leave on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old Serbian midfielder is entering the final year of his contract with Lazio and is not interested in penning a new deal, pushing the club to find buyers for this summer’s transfer window. His price tag is around €30-35m, but his contract situation leaves the Biancocelesti on shaky ground.

Juventus have long been fans of Milinkovic-Savic but were often pushed away by his price tag, something that shouldn’t be an obstacle this summer. Inter are also reportedly interested in the 28-year-old, but are seemingly focusing their efforts on Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi.

As detailed by La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport, Rabiot’s departure would prompt Juventus to make a serious move for Milinkovic-Savic, finally reading to add the star Serb to Massimiliano Allegri’s squad.

The Bianconeri could include some players in exchange to lower the costs of the deal, like Luca Pellegrini or Nicolo Rovella.

Rabiot has still not decided whether or not to pen a new deal with Juventus but a decision will be made soon, with his contract expiring in less than a fortnight.

Juventus intensifying interest in Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi

Fabiano Parisi of Empoli FC kicks the ball during the Serie...

While we don’t truly know what’s going on behind the scenes at Juventus these days, the rumor mill is telling something: the Bianconeri intend to address the long-standing issue of not upgrading the fullback/wingback positions in a major way.

We’ve already heard about Juventus’ reported interest in Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne. Now, Juve could very well do a little shopping a little closer to home.

According to reports from Tuttosport and SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedullà, Juventus have been in talks with Empoli about the potential signing of Italian fullback Fabiano Parisi. Tuttosport has described the talks as “intensifying” over recent days, while Pedullà notes that Empoli will not stand in the way of the 22-year-old fullback leaving the club this summer.

Zaniolo breaks silence on report linking

him with a move to Juventus

Zaniolo

Nicoló Zaniolo has addressed the rumours surrounding a potential move to Juventus, six months after his departure from Serie A to join Galatasaray.

Zaniolo, known for his exceptional technical abilities, is regarded as one of the most promising Italian players in Europe, distinguishing himself from other attackers in the national team.

His unexpected move to Turkey in the January transfer window surprised many fans and pundits, but he has been proving his value at Galatasaray. Despite this, Juventus is reportedly interested in bringing him back to Italy.

According to several reports, Juventus is considering including Weston McKennie as part of their bid for Zaniolo, a proposition that could be accepted.

Zaniolo told TV Play as quoted by Football Italia “I am happy in Turkey, we’ll see what happens on the transfer market” .

“You can never say never, we’ll see.”

Juventus transfers: Weah agreement, Chiesa set to snub Aston Villa, Thomas offer for Arsenal

11146702.jpg.webp

Juventus have reached an agreement with Lille for Timothy Weah and have reportedly made an opening offer to Arsenal for Thomas Partey, while Federico Chiesa is unwilling to join Aston Villa who are ready to offer €60m.

The Bianconeri are strengthening the team ahead of 2023-24 and after securing the permanent return of Arek Milik, they are looking for more new signings.

Multiple reports claim the Bianconeri have reached an agreement to sign Weah from Lille. According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serie A giants only need to establish how the €12m transfer fee will be paid.

The Italian broadcasters confirm Newcastle and Liverpool are interested in Federico Chiesa, but Aston Villa seem willing to make a €60m offer. However, the Italy international doesn’t want to join Unai Emery’s side and is waiting for an offer from another club.

Chiesa has demanded a new €8m-a-year deal which Juventus can’t afford currently, so his exit is in the cards with a contract expiring in 2025. ......

Friday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 8) claims Juve have already offered €18m for Thomas, but the Gunners have a €40m Saudi bid on the table.

Il Corriere dello Sport adds that Juventus will sign one more player on the right wing after Weah, so Timothy Castagne, Emil Holm and Alvaro Odriozola remain on the Old Lady’s radars.

Empoli‘s Fabiano Parisi is a concrete target on the other side of the pitch. The Tuscans want €12m for the Italy U21 international, whose signing could push Samuel Iling-Junior on loan to Bologna.

Forward offered to Juventus by his agent wife

Icardi

Juventus has been consistently linked with Mauro Icardi as they seek to bolster their squad.

The Italian giants have held an interest in Icardi since his time in Serie A and have continued to monitor him even after his departure from the league.

Icardi spent the previous season on loan at Galatasaray from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and has now returned to the French club. However, it seems that PSG has no plans for him in the future.

PSG will make an effort to sell Icardi again, aiming to secure a good transfer fee. His wife and agent, Wanda Nara, is actively searching for a new club for the striker.

Juventus will still pursue Milinkovic-Savic even if Rabiot stays

Milinkovic-Savic

Before feeling optimistic about Rabiot’s contract renewal, Juventus had already made plans to potentially replace him with Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Milinkovic-Savic has been a target for Juventus, and he has expressed a desire to leave Rome. Initially, there were suggestions that Juventus would no longer pursue Milinkovic-Savic if Rabiot remained at the club.

However, Calciomercato has refuted those claims and stated that Juventus will continue to pursue Milinkovic-Savic’s signature, even if they manage to retain Rabiot.

Juventus is aiming for a midfield makeover and believes that having both Rabiot and Milinkovic-Savic in the squad would enhance the team’s strength and robustness, rather than relying solely on Rabiot’s presence.
