Juve 'fight Madrid for Pogba'

https://www.football-italia.net/136201/juve-fight-madrid-pogba

Mar 25, 2019

Juventus are reportedly ready to go toe-to-toe with Real Madrid for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

Pogba’s future appeared to lay with United after their renaissance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but he recently cast doubt back over future with comments that Madrid were ‘a dream for anyone’.

Now AS writes that while Los Blancos is the Frenchman’s ‘first option’ in Spain, Juve hope to capitalise on their ‘close relationship’ with his agent Mino Raiola and have already begun looking at ways to finance his return.

The newspaper goes on to explain that the 26-year-old ‘feels it’s time for him to move on’ as ‘he believes he has completed what he has set out to do at United’ and that he has already rejected an offer of a new contract.

Brazil teen confirms Juve move

Colpo Juve: dal Flamengo arriva Wesley a parametro zero

https://www.football-italia.net/136864/brazil-teen-confirms-juve-move

Apr 11, 2019

Brazilian teenager Wesley has confirmed his move to Juventus from Flamengo.

Wesley posted a picture of himself wearing Juve’s training kit on Instagram with the caption, ‘a new story God has in store for me.’

The 19-year-old is a right-back who won the South American U-17 Championship with Brazil in 2017.

He is nicknamed ‘Gasolina’ for his pace and is represented by Mino Raiola but has not played since last May due to a contractual dispute with Flamengo.

However, Sport Mediaset reports that has now been settled and he joins the Bianconeri on a free transfer.

Ronaldo key to Felix-Juve deal?

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly helping Juventus in their pursuit of Benfica and Portugal starlet Joao Felix.

According to A Bola, Ronaldo has given his approval to Felix’s arrival as he considers the Portuguese his ‘heir’.

The newspaper warns Benfica are standing by their €120m valuation of the 19-year-old, which only Manchester City are willing to pay.

However, the attacker has made no secret of his desire to play alongside the No 7 one day, while he is also represented by Jorge Mendes.

That could work in the Bianconeri’s favour as they look to bring down Felix’s price.

Juventus have reportedly joined the race to sign Fulham and England starlet Ryan Sessegnon.

According to the Express, Juve are ‘ready to do battle’ with Tottenham Hotspur, who are considered the favourites to sign the 18-year-old.

The newspaper adds Fulham want ‘around £40m (€46m) for the left-sider, who scored 16 goals in the English second tier last season.

He has managed just two strikes for the Cottagers this term as they were relegated from the Premier League but has provided six assists.

Raiola cancels Pogba-United meeting?

https://www.football-italia.net/137353/raiola-cancels-pogba-united-meeting

Apr 26, 2019

Mino Raiola has reportedly cancelled a meeting with Manchester United over a new contract for Paul Pogba, amidst Juventus and Real Madrid speculation.

The Sun writes Pogba is ‘so determined’ to leave United, and that is ‘tearing the dressing room apart’.

The Frenchman was included in the PFA Team of the Year after a career-best 16 goals and 11 assists in 2018-19, but he has ‘his heart set’ on a transfer.

The newspaper explains he is unhappy with the club’s lack of progress since first leaving Old Trafford seven years ago and ‘is not convinced’ by Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Described as a figure who ‘runs’ the dressing room, the 26-year-old’s teammates ‘know’ he wants to move on and ‘fear’ Solskjaer cannot handle him.

It comes after a report in Friday’s Tuttosport, which claimed Pogba had told United that he would leave Manchester in June.

“A return to Turin is the priority, but Perez and Zidane are prepared to play the Bale card to snatch him away from the Bianconeri,” it goes on to explain.

Zaniolo wants Juve move?

https://www.football-italia.net/137770/zaniolo-wants-juve-move

https://www.football-italia.net/137786/zaniolo-juve-remarks-denied

May 7, 2019

Roma and Italy starlet Nicolo Zaniolo reportedly confessed ‘who wouldn’t go to Juventus’ at a night club.

According to Corriere Torino, Zaniolo spent Monday night at Jux Tap in Sarzana, around 20km from Massa, where the midfielder was born.

It would have been there that the 19-year-old was caught up by fans about his future.

“I’m happy at Roma, but who wouldn’t go to Juve? Having said that, Roma will decide,” he was quoted as saying.

Zaniolo has enjoyed a breakout campaign with Roma, but his form has dipped in recent weeks and Calciomercato.com claims talks over a new contract have slowed down.

Juve, for their part, have been heavily linked with the former Inter teen since the turn of the year.

Nicolo Zaniolo’s mother has accused the Press of ‘destabilising’ the Roma midfielder after denying his alleged plea to join Juventus.

Corriere Torino claimed on Tuesday that Zaniolo had confessed he could not say ‘no’ if Juve came calling during a night out.

However, Francesca Costa hit back on Instagram: “Nicolo never said any of this.

“I don’t understand how some journalists can make up certain things, destabilising a 19-year-old boy who is striving to be the utmost professional.

“If you left him alone, we’d all be grateful.”

The 19-year-old has scored six goals and provided two assists in 34 appearances for Roma this season.

Juve keen on Ramos

Risultati immagini per sergio ramos real madrid juventus

https://www.football-italia.net/138435/report-juve-keen-ramos

May 24, 2019

Juventus are reportedly ready to pounce for Sergio Ramos if the defender decides to leave Real Madrid this summer.

According to El Chiringuito, Ramos’ relationship with Madrid has broken down and not recovered since their Champions League exit to Ajax in March.

The 33-year-old’s contract does not expire until 2021, while he earns €12.5m a season and has an €800m release clause.

However, the Spanish football show claims his camp have already received offers.

AS elaborates further, claiming interest stems from Liverpool, China and Juve.

Moreover, the Bianconeri are the side ‘most willing to push hard’ for Ramos, with Cristiano Ronaldo ‘urging’ them to make a concerted effort for his ex-Blancos teammate.

The Old Lady are in need of defensive reinforcements as Andrea Barzagli has retired, Martin Caceres is unlikely to be retained and Giorgio Chiellini turns 35 in August.

Dybala and Alex Sandro for Pogba?

Risultati immagini per dybala e alex sandro per paul pogba

https://www.football-italia.net/138512/dybala-and-alex-sandro-pogba

May 26, 2019

Juventus are prepared to offer Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro in exchange for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, claims the Sunday Express.

According to the British newspaper, the Bianconeri are hoping to use the two players as part of a swap deal to lower the €140m price-tag.

Both Dybala and Alex Sandro have been earmarked for possible summer exits, as they fell down the pecking order this season, but much depends on who the new Coach will be after Max Allegri.

It has been suggested in the Italian media over the last few days that Juventus director of sport Fabio Paratici flew to London not just for talks with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, but also for Pogba.

It would be a return to Turin for the 26-year-old, who joined Juve as a free agent from Manchester United in 2012 and was sold back to the Old Trafford club for €105m in the summer of 2016.

His performances have been inconsistent, but above all Pogba has grown irritated with the criticism received from fans and pundits.

Pogba frequently comes back to Turin on vacation and was there only last week to attend Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli’s retirement party.

Jun 6, 2019

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set a £100m (€113m) asking price for potential Juventus and Inter target Christian Eriksen.

The valuation, as reported by ANSA and The Times, comes directly in between the £130m (€147m) quoted by The Mirror and the €60-70m (£53m-62m) mentioned by Gazzetta dello Sport.

The midfielder has only a year left on his Tottenham contract and announced on Wednesday that he was ready for a new challenge.

Real Madrid are considered the favourites to sign the Dane, but they are currently negotiating for Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.

Juventus meet Demiral and Pogba

Risultati immagini per merih demiral turkey

https://www.football-italia.net/139137/juventus-meet-demiral-and-pogba

Jun 9, 2019

Juventus director Fabio Paratici was in Turkey last night to discuss the €15m Merih Demiral deal and meet with Paul Pogba.

According to La Stampa, Paratici was in the stands for Turkey’s 2-0 victory over France in a Euro 2020 qualifier last night, to watch both Demiral and Pogba.

The Bianconeri have practically agreed terms with Sassuolo for the 21-year-old Turkish defender at €15m plus bonuses, despite Atletico Madrid recently reportedly making the Neroverdi a €25m offer.

The intention had been to leave him at Sassuolo for another year to mature, but the fantastic performance against World Cup winners France may well have changed their minds.

Meanwhile, La Stampa also reports that Paratici was in Konya last night to watch over France international Pogba, who remains a possible transfer target this summer.

It’s suggested the pair might’ve had the opportunity to exchange a few words after the game.

If Pogba does leave Manchester United this summer, then he has offers on the table from Real Madrid and PSG too.

Empoli: Juve have Traore deal

https://www.football-italia.net/139295/empoli-juve-have-traore-deal

Jun 12, 2019

Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi has confirmed that Juventus are on the verge of signing midfielder Hamed Traore.

Traore had been close to signing for Fiorentina, but a change in ownership at the Artemio Franchi put that deal on the backburner.

He is now set to join Juve, although not for long as he is expected to be loaned to Sassuolo, in part exchange for defender Merih Demiral.

“We’re working to close the deal with Juve. Everything is set, we’re just missing the signatures now,” Corsi told Tuttomercatoweb.

“He was just a hot prospect in January, but in the last five months he’s grown an awful lot and he’s now showing his true potential.

“He’s a complete footballer and I think he’s destined to have a great career.”

The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign for Empoli, despite their relegation, scoring twice in 33 appearances.

Gazzetta dello Sport writes he will pen a five-year contract with the Bianconeri, who will pay €12m up front plus €3m in bonuses.

Spurs see Ndombele bid rejected

Jun 13, 2019

Lyon rejected a Tottenham Hotspur offer for Tanguy Ndombele worth €45m plus bonuses, it’s reported, so Juventus are staying informed.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs saw their initial proposal for the midfielder turned down.

Juve director of sport Fabio Paratici was in Paris on his way to London this week and had a meeting with Olympique Lyonnais.

It’s believed no figures were discussed, but the Bianconeri asked to be kept informed in case anyone meets the Ndombele asking price.

However, Eurosport in France maintain Ndombele has his heart set on the Premier League.

Juve also asked after Lyon 19-year-old striker Amine Gouiri, added Sky Sport Italia.

Matthäus: James could join Juve

Matthaus:

https://www.football-italia.net/139394/matthaus-james-could-join-juve

Jun 14, 2019

Ex-Bayern Munich and Inter star Lothar Matthäus ‘sees’ James Rodriguez at Juventus and claims Cristiano Ronaldo wants him in Turin.

Napoli have been the Italian side most linked with James, who is available for transfer after Bayern passed up their option to buy him.

However, Matthäus told AS: “James and I had a chat two weeks ago, during Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga party.

“I see him at Juventus. He’s very close to Ronaldo and he told me he was in contact with him.

“Cristiano said he would like him at Juventus. I can understand why: James can give Ronaldo many assists. Both of them would shine.”

The pair played together at Real Madrid between 2014 and 2017, winning a Spanish title and two Champions Leagues.

Juve have yet to make any market moves, although that could soon change as Maurizio Sarri is set to be confirmed as their new Coach.

Pogba 'gives Juve priority'

Immagine correlata

https://www.football-italia.net/139591/pogba-gives-juve-priority

Jun 18, 2019

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly given priority to a summer transfer to Juventus.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, there is ‘continuous contact and a desire to prepare everything’ for Pogba’s return.

Di Marzio explains there is a ‘stronger will’ on the Frenchman’s part to embark on a new challenge with Juve than Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old has already confirmed that he could leave United this summer.

However, a stumbling block could be his wages as opposed to a transfer fee, given he ‘doesn’t seem willing’ to sacrifice his €15m salary at Old Trafford.

Nonetheless, the Sky Sport Italia journalist writes the Bianconeri are ‘trying’ to figure out a way to satisfy Pogba’s demands and held talks with his camp on Tuesday morning.

Man Utd boss Solskjaer wants Pogba sold to boost pitiful £100m transfer kitty

Daily Star:

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/786824/Man-Utd-transfer-news-Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer-Paul-Pogba

Solskjaer is prepared to let Pogba go and has told Old Trafford bosses to sell the unsettled star to the highest bidder.

The revelation paves the way for Pogba to secure a stunning £140m return to Juventus this summer.

Pogba has refused to pledge his future to United in recent weeks and fanned the flames of a move last weekend when he admitted he was contemplating a 'new challenge'.

Real Madrid are also interested in the World Cup winner, but Pogba favours a return to Juve - just three years since he left them to re-join United in a £90m deal.

Solskjaer is desperate to sell Pogba to raise funds for new signings after being told he has just £100m to spend before the start of next season.

Supporters will be stunned the Norwegian has been given so little funds following one of the worst seasons in the club's history.

United finished sixth in the Premier League, 32 points behind champions Manchester City and failed to secure Champions League qualification.

Solskjaer is under pressure to overhaul his squad, but executive vice chairman Ed Woodward is not willing to splash out on more superstar signings.

'Juve brought me close to tears!'

https://www.football-italia.net/139718/juve-brought-me-close-tears

Jun 21, 2019

Genoa defender Cristian Romero admits he ‘almost cried’ when he heard Giorgio Chiellini say that he was ‘waiting’ for him at Juventus.

The 21-year-old is on the verge of joining the Bianconeri in this window, for a fee reported to be in the region of €20m, although he could be loaned back to the Grifone for another season.

“Chiellini said he was waiting for me at Juventus. I almost cried tears of joy when I heard that,” he told Canal Show Sport in his native Argentina.

“I rushed to tell my whole family; I couldn’t believe it.”

Romero only moved in Italy last summer and naturally needed a few months to establish himself in Genoa’s first team.

“I thought I would only get a few games last season,” he explained.

“There was 30 of us on the first day of preseason training and for my Coach Davide Ballardini, I wasn’t a first-team player.

“He already had some great players to pick from and had also decided on who would be his four defenders.”

The centre-back has been called up by Argentina for the Pan-American Games, which will be held in Peru between July 26 and August 6.

CdS: Adidas bring Pogba to Juventus

https://www.football-italia.net/139922/cds-adidas-bring-pogba-juventus

Jun 26, 2019

Juventus and Paul Pogba will ask Adidas for help getting the midfielder away from Manchester United, claim the Corriere dello Sport.

The newspaper and Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintain Pogba’s sponsors could play a key role in bringing the midfielder back to Turin.

He has a contract with Manchester United until 2021 and earns circa €15m per year, but is by many accounts doing everything he can to break away from Old Trafford.

According to the latest reports from Italy, Juve and Pogba will appeal to Adidas – who have a massive contract worth €408m until June 2027 with the Bianconeri – to reunite them.

It would still be incredibly difficult, especially if Juventus are to shell out €70m plus a salary running to €12m per year net and bonuses for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt.

Manchester United are asking for €150m to part with Pogba, as the World Cup winner is also wanted by Real Madrid.

Spinazzola for Pellegrini and €10m

Juventus, è fatta per scambio Luca Pellegrini-Spinazzola

https://www.football-italia.net/140038/spinazzola-pellegrini-and-€10m

Jun 28, 2019

Leonardo Spinazzola and Luca Pellegrini are expected to have medicals this weekend after Juventus and Roma agreed an exchange plus €10m.

According to multiple sources, including Sky Sport Italia, the two left-backs will swap places over the next couple of days.

Spinazzola is valued at €25m, while 20-year-old Luca Pellegrini so far only warrants €15m, so Juve would receive an extra €10m in cash on top of the player.

If they are able to agree personal terms quickly, they could both undergo medicals this weekend.

Both young players are recovering from career setbacks due to serious injuries.

Spinazzola had a two-year loan spell with Atalanta, while Pellegrini spent the last six months at Cagliari.

Spinazzola and Pellegrini medicals today

https://www.football-italia.net/140066/spinazzola-and-pellegrini-medicals-today

Jun 29, 2019

Leonardo Spinazzola and Luca Pellegrini are having their medicals this morning in an exchange deal between Roma and Juventus.

The negotiations developed remarkably quickly on Friday and found everyone in agreement for the two left-backs.

Juve rate Spinazzola at €25m, while Pellegrini is valued at €15m, so the deal was struck by Roma handing over Pellegrini plus €10m.

Their medicals are set for this morning and will be very important, as both players saw their careers stall over serious injuries.

Spinazzola is 26 years old and came up through the Juve academy, but really made his mark during a two-season loan spell with Atalanta.

He only managed 14 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri this term, scoring one goal and providing an assist.

It's reported his contract will be a five-year deal worth €2.5m per season plus bonuses.

Pellegrini is only 20 and impressed with Italy at the U20 World Cup, while he spent the last six months on loan at Cagliari.

Born and raised in Rome, he is the latest homegrown player to be shipped out of the Stadio Olimpico.

His salary at Juventus in a five-year contract will be €1.3m plus bonuses.

Juve use Higuain for Zaniolo bid

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor higuain e zaniolo

https://www.football-italia.net/140075/juve-use-higuain-zaniolo-bid

Jun 29, 2019

Roma and Juventus are not finished exchanging players, as it’s reported Gonzalo Higuain could be used in a bid for Nicolò Zaniolo.

The two clubs have been in intensive negotiations over the last few days, leading to a rapid deal that brought Leonardo Spinazzola to Roma in exchange for Luca Pellegrini and €10m.

They are undergoing their medicals today, but that might not be the end of the matter.

According to Il Tempo, the Corriere dello Sport, Tuttosport and more, Juventus have set their sights on Zaniolo and could use Higuain as part of their offer.

Higuain has just returned from two dismal loan spells at Milan and Chelsea, but despite Maurizio Sarri taking over at Juve, he is still not part of their plans.

Another loan would cost €12m with an option to buy, not to mention his salary, but Roma have no intention of spending that much.

The alternative could be to extend Higuain’s contract with Juve so they could spread his wages over a longer period of time and then send him to Roma on loan with obligation to buy.

Pipita would replace Edin Dzeko, who is heading towards Inter this summer.

Naturally, Juventus hope to use Higuain as part of their bid for teenage sensation Zaniolo, who is valued at around €60m.

Roma full-back Luca Pellegrini is undergoing his Juventus medical this morning as part of an exchange deal with Leonardo Spinazzola.

The transfer was agreed on Friday, with Spinazzola going to the Giallorossi and Juve receiving Pellegrini plus €10m.

Spinazzola already had his Roma medical on Saturday, while this morning Italy U20 starlet Pellegrini arrived for his tests.

The left-back spent the last six months on loan at Cagliari and it is rumoured he won’t be in Turin for long, as Juventus may well loan Pellegrini out so he can get more regular playing time.

Sassuolo are suggested as an option for the 20-year-old, whose Juve contract will be a five-year deal worth €1.3m per season plus bonuses.

Juventus announced they have sold Leonardo Spinazzola to Roma for €29.5m, while purchasing Luca Pellegrini for €22m.

They both signed contracts to June 2023.

To all intents and purposes, the deal is Spinazzola to Roma for Pellegrini plus €7.5m cash.

Marotta 'Icardi and Nainggolan not in Inter plans'

https://www.football-italia.net/140414/icardi-and-nainggolan-not-inter-plans

Jul 7, 2019

Inter director Beppe Marotta confirms “Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan know full well they are not part of our plans, with all due respect.”

The Nerazzurri are completely revamping the squad under new Coach Antonio Conte and he is ruthless with two of their highest earners.

“When building a project, you have to find the right profiles,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had the opportunity to speak to the players themselves, with full respect for their contractual situations, but explained the position of the club, which I think is the most important thing.

“Both players know full well they are not part of our plans. That doesn’t mean we doubt their talent or capabilities, as I consider them to be two excellent players.

“Talent can win you games, but the squad wins you the league, which is the main objective we are setting out for. They are not part of our project, with all due respect.”

However, Marotta denied Icardi could sue the club for ‘mobbing’ or bullying in the workplace, as he won’t be excluded from training.

“It’s one thing to say Icardi is on the market, which we have already confirmed, but quite another to respect contractual obligations. There is an agreement in the contract that the player must be allowed to take part in training and we have no intention of denying him that right.

“After that, the Coach is the one that will choose the line-up.”

Icardi has been most heavily linked with Juventus and Napoli, with a price-tag of €60m.

Genoa defender Cristian Romero will have his Juventus medical on Tuesday, but then go out on loan, most likely to Atalanta.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the tests have been booked at the J Medical centre in Turin for Tuesday.

He was absent from today’s Genoa training session and will not travel with the group to Austria.

It’s reported Juve will pay €15-20m for the 21-year-old centre-back, but he won’t remain at the Juventus Stadium for long.

Romero will be loaned out to gain more Serie A experience and while a return to Genoa is possible, he is probably heading for Atalanta.

Genoa defender Cristian Romero has arrived to complete his transfer to Juventus.

Juve’s official Twitter account snapped Romero checking in for his medical on Tuesday morning.

The Argentine will then sign his contract before being confirmed as a Bianconeri player, although he is expected to be sent back to Genoa on loan.

The 21-year-old only joined the Grifone from Belgrano last summer in a €1.65m deal.

Despite the Rossoblu’s difficult campaign, he became a virtual ever-present after early October, missing only four Serie A games.

He will become Juve’s second defensive signing this summer after Merih Demiral and could be followed by another in Matthijs de Ligt.

Genoa, for their part, look like making a significant profit as the Old Lady will reportedly pay €15-20m for Romero.
