FIGC investigates Suarez case :|

Indagine della Procura Figc sul caso Suarez: quali articoli interessano la Juve

Sep 23, 2020

The FIGC Prosecutor’s Office has, according to news agency ANSA, opened an investigation into the exam taken by Luis Suarez in Perugia.

The Barcelona forward flew to Perugia for the examination last week to acquire Italian citizenship. The Italian passport was needed for him to sign with Juventus as an EU-player, but his short visit alerted some suspicion.

La Repubblica claimed the Guarda di Finanza looked into the examination and reportedly discovered irregularities.

Colonel Selvaggio Sarri, who already investigated the University for ‘their less than transparent activities’, told Radio Punto Nuovo that the Uruguayan ‘was awarded a diploma for an intermediary level, but we discovered it was all predetermined’.

Colonel Sarri made clear to Radio Punto Nuovo that Juventus are currently not accused of wrongdoing. .....

Suarez investigation stopped

Luis Suárez swaps Barcelona for LaLiga rivals Atlético Madrid - AS.com

Sep 25, 2020

Prosecutors in charge of the investigation involving Luis Suarez and Juventus lawyers say it has been stopped for now due to too many leaks.

Luigi Chiappero and colleague Maria Turco travelled to Perugia today to defend their alleged roles in the Italian language exam that Suarez took prior to his proposed move to the club.

However, Sky reports the seven-hour meeting concluded with the prosecution opting to pause its probe for the time being.

According to chief prosecutor Raffaele Cantone, as per ANSA, the decision was made to reschedule following ‘too many violations of secrecy’. .....

7 moves Juventus need to make in the January transfer window

Juventus v ACF Fiorentina - Serie A

Dec 25, 2020

In the summer of 2020, Juventus took a massive risk and hired rookie coach Andrea Pirlo, despite the fact he'd never even managed his kids' Sunday League team prior to collecting the keys to Turin.

The Italian giants now find themselves languishing well behind league leaders Milan in terms of points and standing, and the pressure is firmly on the club legend to turn this nightmare start around.

Are we really surprised it hasn't worked out, though? ............

As the league table suggests however, there are still plenty of areas of concern for the Bianconeri hierarchy, heading into what could be a title-dependent January transfer window. Make the right moves, and Juve could be scooping scudetto number 10 in a row come May. Get it wrong, and Pirlo's head will be on the chopping block.

1. Sign Weston McKennie on Permanent Deal

Right Fabio Paratici mate, whip out that cheque book, write up a big fat bill for €18m, and hand it over to Schalke ASAP. Weston McKennie has been the saving grace of a floundering Juve midfield this season, and there are no doubts that he has the quality needed to compete in the upper echelons of Serie A.

So, while his move to Turin is currently temporary, and could automatically be made permanent based on the number of appearances he achieves over the season, Juve shouldn't even hesitate until the summer.

Sign him up.

2. Sort Out Paulo Dybala's Future

Widely considered the most technically gifted player in the squad, Dybala is insanely talented, if possibly misused by coaches unwilling to build a team around him. And with his contract set to expire in 18 months, the clock is ticking for the board to make an important decision.

La Joya wants to stay - but only for the right price. Will Juve gamble and pay Dybala what he desires, making him the star of the team, or cash in before his value drops with each passing transfer window? Gambleeeeeee!

3. Sell Federico Bernardeschi ............

4. Sign a Midfield Playmaker (Paul Pogba)

No matter what Pirlo tries or how he sets up his team, there is always something missing in his midfield. While McKennie has proven to be an inspired signing, the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot and Arthur Melo flatter to deceive.

What's needed is a man with some invention on the ball. Someone who can pick the lock of defences, glide with the ball at his feet and always provide an option for his teammates. Basically, Juve need Paul Pogba.

5. Recruit Attacking Reinforcements

I Bianconeri lack any serious strikers on the bench, so signing a young, hungry and proven striker must be a priority for Pirlo. Celtic star Odsonne Edouard has been linked with the Italian giants, and could be the ideal candidate to challenge and support the current forward line.

6. Find a Juan Cuadrado Alternative

Now, I don't want to go in too hard on Juan Cuadrado, because he's been a great servant to Juventus in a number of positions and roles over the years - BUT - there's got to be better out there. Especially for a team hoping to challenge for European trophies.

Cuadrado plays a unique position in Pirlo's fluid system, switching from a right-back to flying wing-back when in and out of possession, making his job a tough one to learn.

7. Replace Alex Sandro

Despite what FIFA19, 20 and 21 will tell you, Alex Sandro has not been an elite level left-back for a number of years. The Brazilian's performances have been so bang average over the past two or three seasons, and that just won't do for a player performing such an integral role in the system.

Juve need to land upon a plan for the winter. Either buy an accomplished left-sided centre-back who can operate out wide, or buy a left-back who can drop into the heart of the defence when needed. What Pirlo really requires is Leonardo Spinazzola, the man Juve sold to Roma in 2019, who is now the best wing-back in the league. Crazy business.

Juve agree Reynolds deal

FC Dallas' Bryan Reynolds named to US U-17 World Cup Team - Big D Soccer

Dec 29, 2020

According to reports from America this evening, Juventus have agreed a $10m deal with FC Dallas for Bryan Reynolds, who will then be loaned to Cagliari.

The defender had also been linked with Roma and Club Brugge, but the Bianconeri pushed their way to the front of the queue.

Still only 19 years old, Reynolds is a product of the FC Dallas youth academy.

According to ESPN reporter Taylor Twellman, a deal has been done for “a little more than $10m (including incentives) from Juventus, who will send him out on loan.”

Italian reports are all confident the agreement is with Cagliari to take Reynolds on loan for six months. .....

Genoa-Juve in talks over swap deal

Nicolo-Rovella.jpg

Dec 29, 2020

Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Genoa and Juventus are in talks over a potential swap deal including Nicolo Rovella and Manolo Portanova.

The Old Lady have been linked with the young midfielder in recent months, with the 19 year-old impressing in Serie A.

Portanova on the other hand has had limited minutes this term, picking up just 70 minutes of action in all competitions, and would most likely welcome a loan move.

The report doesn’t state whether the swap would be a permanent move for both however, but I would assume that Pirlo would be keen to keep both in the long-term. .....

Could Pirlo earmark the youngster for a key role in his side? Could he see some of his own playing characteristics in him?

Juventus consider Reynolds-Pavoletti swap

Leonardo Pavoletti - Spelersprofiel 20/21 | Transfermarkt

Dec 30, 2020

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Bryan Reynolds could join Cagliari on loan from Juventus in January with Leonardo Pavoletti moving to Turin until the end of the season.

The Bianconeri are reportedly close to securing the services of the FC Dallas right-back, although Roma and Club Burgge remain in the race to sign the 19-year-old.

However, if the Serie A champions sign Reynolds in January, they will have to loan him out as they have already filled two spots for non-EU players this season having already signed Weston McKennie and Arthur in the summer.

Therefore, Reynolds could join Cagliari on loan until the end of the season with Leonardo Pavoletti moving to Turin on a temporary deal until the end of the current campaign. .....

Dec 30, 2020

Juventus are set to splash out €9m on 19-year-old Genoa midfielder Nicolò Rovella, so we look into what they are getting.

Multiple sources state Rovella will extend his contract, which expires at the end of this season, and remain on loan at Genoa for the next six or possibly 18 months.

Juve are expected to pay €9m, which could include a player in exchange, most likely Manolo Portanova.

Rovella is a central midfielder who only turned 19 on December 4 and has nine Serie A appearances under his belt.

His idol is Luka Modric and Juve hope the confident young man can bring some of those characteristics to Turin in future, although he has also been compared to Rodrigo Bentancur. ...........

Muxuu Sergio Aguero ka yiri kaddib markii ay Man City si rasmi ah ugu dhawaaqday inuu ka tagayo kooxda? – Gool FM

Mar 31, 2021

Former Juventus striker Franco Causio believes Juventus should sign Sergio Aguero: ‘He’d be like Carlos Tevez.’

Aguero will leave Manchester City in the summer and both Juventus and Inter have been linked with signing the Argentinean as a free agent in the summer.

“He would be perfect for Juventus. He has proved he can be useful for many clubs, provided he is 100 per cent fit,” Causio, a former Juventus and Italy striker, told La Gazzetta dello Sport. ...........

“He can be like Tevez, but he must be motivated and willing to win, as Tevez did.”
