Juventus admitted they’re in talks with a new main shirt sponsor, all but confirming earlier rumours that revealed a new agreement between the club and Jeep.

 

The Bianconeri have been without a main sponsor since the start of the season, when their 12-year collaboration with the American automobile brand came to an end. Tether increase Juventus stake to become second-highest investors

 

 

Cryptocurrency firm Tether have confirmed that they have purchased more shares in Juventus, and that they are now the second-largest investors in the Serie A giants.

 

Back in February, Tether purchased a minority stake in Juventus, understood to be around 8.2% of the club’s shares, which brought just over 5% of voting rights. After their most recent acquisition, Tether now own 10.12% of the club’s shares, and have around 6.18% of the voting rights. ............

 

EXOR, the holding company attributed to the Agnelli family, still owns a clear majority of the shares in Juventus with 65.4%.

 

Tether now owns 10.1% of the Bianconeri shares, which means they have overtaken investment management company Lindell Train, who now own 8.7% of the club’s shares. The remaining 15.4% is in the form of floating shares.

An investigation was launched in 2024 after the murder of Andrea Bellocco by a fellow supporter and the subsequent arrests of several ultras with suspected links to mafia families.

 

It was later revealed that a number of high-profile coaches and players, including Inzaghi, Calhanoglu, Milan’s Davide Calabria and Nerazzurri vice-President Javier Zanetti had either met or had discussions with ultras and it has since been confirmed that some of those conversations broke FIGC rules.

 

Turin-based outlet Tuttosport have published an article claiming that ‘justice is not equal’, owing to the fact that Inzaghi and Calhanoglu were given fines and one-match bans, while former Juventus owner Agnelli took a 12-month suspension that was later reduced to three months for a similar incident in 2017. ............

 

Still, Agnelli was originally handed a 12-month ban, later reduced to three months, which Tuttosport questions given that Calhanoglu and Inzaghi were given one-match bans for a similar accusation.
