The former Juventus and Italy assistant manager under Antonio Conte broke out on his own and unexpectedly won the Russian title in his first season. Now Spartak are trying to reinforce and, according to Sovsport, one of Carrera’s transfer targets is Sturaro. The midfielder has already been mentioned as exiting Juve due to the arrival of Tomas Rincon and bid for Blaise Matuidi. Sturaro has also been linked with a move to Fiorentina in a potential exchange with Federico Bernardeschi. Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The midfielder has been widely reported as the key to Bernardeschi, making the move to Florence along with €40m cash. “There was a meeting with (Fiorentina director of sport Pantaleo) Corvino,” confirmed agent Carlo Volpi on TuttoJuve.com. “The interest from Fiorentina is real, as Corvino and Coach Stefano Pioli consider him to be an important profile, but the interest is as far as it will go. “It was a specific request from Corvino to have Sturaro, but Juventus don’t want to sell. At Juve nobody is untouchable, but the directors showed they firmly believe in Stefano. “The player is totally focused on Juventus and the new season coming up. It is pleasing to hear of interest, because it shows the player is working well, but Juve are the team that allowed him to have such a prestigious CV at the age of 24. “He also has a very important rapport with the Bianconeri fans.” Another alternative mentioned in the Bernardeschi exchange deal was Tomas Rincon. Cagliari were the latest club to be linked with Sturaro, but while Carlo Volpi confirmed the Sardinian’s interest, the representative made it clear the midfielder would be going nowhere. “On Stefano, Cagliari’s interest is concrete, like it is for many Italian teams,” he told SerieAnews. “I think Juve aren’t letting him go because they’ve told all the clubs interested that he’s unsellable.” The Bianconeri are light in the middle of the park after losing Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio to injury. The incident occurred over the last few days on his official Instagram account. After being provoked and insulted, Sturaro replied: “Sorry, Gomorra. Sit down or I’ll embarrass you to such a degree that you’ll cry for three days. Go play with your Pokemon and stop bothering me, you re**rd. “Go cry to your mother, you damn child. Actually, I am at home with your mother.” This afternoon, Sturaro published an apology on his Instagram. “Often we players are insulted via social networks. We ought to ignore them, but at times the instinct prevails. I apologise to anyone who felt affected by this.” Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The midfielder has made only four Serie A appearances so far this season, and is well down the pecking order in Turin. According to CalcioNews24 there are two Ligue 1 clubs interested, with the more plausible option represented by Monaco. The Principality side want a more combative midfielder, and believe the Italian international fits the profile perfectly. Paris Saint-Germain could also be interested, but he’d be a bench option there too and they have to sell players before they can buy, or risk falling foul of Financial Fair Play. In any case, Juve will only allow Sturaro to leave if they sign another midfielder, and at the moment Barcelona won’t loan out André Gomes. The 24-year-old midfielder has been in Turin since 2014 and although he doesn’t get regular playing time, can always be relied upon, including in a right-back role. “In Italy, 80 per cent of clubs want him, some more insistently than others,” agent Carlo Volpi told IlBiancoNero.com. “Abroad, Valencia and Everton are the sides that principally want him. Stefano’s situation is clear: Juve won’t let him go, because he’s a player the Bianconeri need. “Naturally, we are pleased at interest from Italy and abroad with so many clubs calling us, but the directors are saying no to everybody. “We know that anything can happen on the transfer market, but Juventus were clear with everybody. Massimiliano Allegri has always asked for Sturaro to stay in the squad.” It’s reported that the Serie A sides who most pushed for Sturaro were Genoa, Atalanta and Sassuolo. Grifone President Enrico Preziosi confirmed today that they were interested in a loan deal with Mandragora. The 20-year-old midfielder impressed during his loan spell at Crotone and earned his first senior Italy cap, so would relish more playing time at his first club. However, Sky Sport Italia claim he is not the only player who could make a return to Marassi, as Sturaro is also on the table. The 25-year-old fan favourite left Genoa for Juve in 2014 for €9.6m. According to Sky Sport Italia, the 25-year-old is no longer close to a return to his old club Genoa. Instead, an experience in the Premier League beckons with Leicester City. It’s reported the offer on the table is €13m, but Juventus hope to make the most of the English clubs’ big spending ways by asking for €20m. He managed only 19 competitive appearances this season for the Bianconeri, many of them off the bench. Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

It appears the Italian international will leave Turin this summer, but a deal isn’t expected to be completed in the coming days. “In reality there’s not the air of an imminent sale,” Carlo Volpi told JuveNews.eu. “There are several offers on Juve’s table to evaluate. Anything can happen in football, because there are in fact many offers. “There’s not only the big clubs West Ham and Leicester, but at least four other clubs interested in my client, who doesn’t have a preferred destination. “We’re just waiting for a decision by the Bianconeri.” Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The 25-year-old has been linked with a number of teams in England’s top-flight, with Newcastle, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Wolves all rumoured to have been keen on securing his services. However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims Sturaro will not be moving to any of those clubs – all of whom have been put off by Juve’s asking price. And with the English transfer deadline coming in just two days time, it appears unlikely anyone will revive their interest. Instead, the Italian daily states Sturaro is most likely to secure a loan move to Genoa for the season ahead. Bianconeri Coach Max Allegri is thought to be a fan of the midfielder and considers him a useful option when rotating his squad. However, with the level of competition for first team football at Juve, the club understand Sturaro’s ambitions to secure a regular starting berth elsewhere. As such, they are prepared to allow him to leave temporarily - although they are keen to retain him outright given his relatively young age and usefulness to the squad. The Italian international has been linked with an exit all summer, but so far no club has been willing to meet the €20m asking price. Fiorentina, Leicester City and Genoa have all been linked with Sturaro, but both Record and Sky Italia report that Sporting have now entered the picture. Sturaro made just seven Serie A starts last season, as well as making five appearances in the Champions League. Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The midfielder made just seven Serie A starts last season, and with the arrival of Emre Can his playing time looks set to be even more limited for the coming campaign. Juve have been trying to move the Italian international on all summer, and it was reported this morning that a deal had been struck with Watford. However, with Sturaro ready to fly out to England this afternoon, Premium Sport reports that the deal has collapsed. The Hornets were only willing to offer a straight loan deal, while the Bianconeri wanted at least an option to buy for €18m. With the Premier League transfer deadline to close at 17.00 UK time, there isn’t time to resurrect the deal. Sturaro will therefore have to find another club, with Fiorentina, Genoa and Sporting CP all interested. Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Sturaro is set to join Sporting on a dry loan for €2m, despite Juve’s intent to receive €20m from his sale, and Carlo Volpi confessed Ronaldo played a key role in taking the 25-year-old to Portugal. “Stefano’s going to Lisbon this morning. It’s a dry loan,” he told Tuttojuve. “It’s true that we negotiated with Watford, as well as other English clubs, who looked at him, as did other Italian clubs. It was nice to see him so appreciated. “After almost four years at Juventus, he needed to grow further as a player and playing means everything for someone like him. “Confidence on the pitch allows you to be sure of yourself. His decision to go abroad was also one of growth for him as a man. “It could’ve been England, Spain or Portugal. But he chose Sporting. Certainly Ronaldo’s words about Sporting and Portuguese football were crucial.” Tuttosport, meanwhile, claims former Bianconeri boss Claudio Ranieri could soon follow the 25-year-old to the Lisbon side. The 25-year-old midfielder moved on loan in August, but struggled with muscular problems and is still waiting to make his first appearance of the season. According to Portuguese paper A Bola, Sporting are ready to give up on Sturaro and interrupt the one-year loan early. He did arrive carrying a knock and is still regularly flying to Italy for treatment. If Sporting were to keep Sturaro, it’s likely Juventus will pay for him to stay in Portugal, at least for the moment. Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti
