Edon Zhegrova has already reached an agreement with Juventus, but the Bianconeri must lower Lille’s asking price and sell Nico Gonzalez.

Juventus have targeted Lille star Zhegrova to strengthen their attack, but Italian sources claim the Serie A giants must meet two conditions to finalise the deal. ............

First of all, the Old Lady must sell Nico Gonzalez, who has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid.

Juventus value the Argentine winger at €25/30m, but Atletico Madrid’s latest bid was worth €15m. The ex-Fiorentina star has already agreed to personal terms with the La Liga giants, but talks between the two clubs are ongoing. ............

Lille’s asking price is around €20/25m, but Juventus are working to bring it down, especially because the winger’s contract expires in June 2026 and he has already informed his club that he won’t extend it beyond this season. ............

Adrien Rabiot wants to return to Juventus and held talks with Giorgio Chiellini after the ugly split with Olympique Marseille, but Matt O’Riley of Brighton remains the favourite. ............

The Serie A side took this under advisement, but meanwhile director of sport Damien Comolli is working on Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder O’Riley as the ideal replacement once Douglas Luiz completes the transfer to Nottingham Forest. ............

He left Juventus as a free agent in 2024 when his contract was allowed to run down, but his experience at Olympique Marseille has already turned sour.

He was officially put on the market this week following a brawl with teammate Jonathan Rowe, which it seems turned violent with punches thrown in the locker room. ............

Romano reveals Juventus outcast set to leave the club on free transfer

Arthur Melo warming up

Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo could be on his way out of the club, with a return to Gremio looming on the horizon.

The Brazilian began his playing career at the Porto Alegre-based club, before making his way to Europe through the gates of Barcelona in 2018. ............

While a transfer to Real Betis never materialised, Gremio suddenly emerged as a plausible destination. The Brazilian giants are determined to bring the 28-year-old back to the place that witnessed the dawn of his playing career.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Gremio are currently embroiled in talks with Juventus, and both clubs are keen to find a solution. ............

The midfielder is tied to the Bianconeri with a contract valid until June 2027, and he currently weighs around €10 million on the club’s financial accounts.

While his release would constitute a capital loss for Juventus, the club would be able to save more than €10 million in gross wages, hence why it represents an inviting opportunity for Damien Comolli and Co.

Atletico Madrid agree personal terms with Nico Gonzalez but Molina rejects exit

Nicolas Gonzalez, Nahuel Molina

Atletico Madrid continue to pursue more signings in the transfer market, with a move for Juventus winger Nicolas Gonzalez looking likely to be their next addition. It has been reported that Diego Simeone is keen for Los Colchoneros to bring in a new option out wide that can take on a defender. ............

Gonzalez has a ‘foot and a half’ inside Atletico Madrid. Juventus and Atletico are still discussing how to make the deal work, with a gap of €10m on valuation previously reported. It seems the 27-year-old is much closer to heading to Madrid than Nahuel Molina is to leaving it. ............

Both teams were also supposedly €10m apart on a valuation for Molina, but it seems the right-back will not be going to Turin even if they do reach an agreement. Molina has declined the opportunity to head in the opposite direction. ............

Juventus optimistic about getting discount on Zhegrova

Edon Zhegrova (Lille) victime d'un cambriolage

Juventus are keen to sign Lille winger Edon Zhegrova, but they’re hoping to receive more favourable terms.

The Bianconeri have already signed several players from the Ligue 1 side in recent years. They acquired the services of Timothy Weah in the summer of 2023, before snapping up Tiago Djalo six months later. The most recent case is Jonathan David who signed for the Serie A giants as a free agent after seeing out his contract with the French club. ............

The 26-year-old is a tricky left-footed winger who mainly plays on the right side before cutting to the middle. He is renowned for his fabulous technique and eye for goal.

Nevertheless, Lille are determined to cash in on the player this summer, as his contract will expire next June. The club doesn’t want to lose another key star for free. ............

At the moment, Lille are seeking an asking price in the region of €20-25 million. However, the Serie A giants feel this would be an excessive figure for a player whose contract will expire in less than a year.

Hence, Damien Comolli and Francois Modesto are optimistic about receiving a discount. While they would be happy to close the deal at €15 million, the two parties could reach a compromise somewhere down the middle. ............

Pedulla: Juventus pinpoint Chelsea outcast & Bundesliga star as Kolo Muani alternatives

Nicolas Jackson looking on
Landmark RBL appearance for Lois Openda

Juventus are no longer too confident about signing Randal Kolo Muani, so they have already identified two fallback options, including Nicolas Jackson. ............

The news circulating in the past 24 hours has been less reassuring, as PSG have seemingly raised their asking price, leaving the Serie A giants in a tough spot.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus don’t want to find themselves short-handed on the final days of the summer transfer window. Therefore, he reveals that the Old Lady has already lined up two alternatives to Kolo Muani.

The transfer market expert believes that Juventus have enquired about Jackson, who is now surplus to requirements at Chelsea. ............

The 24-year-old has been put on the market, but the Club World Cup winners are seeking a substantial transfer fee, with some sources in the British media reporting an asking price tag of £80 million. ............

Pedulla also identifies Loïs Openda as another potential solution for the Bianconeri. The 25-year-old is a Belgian striker who rose through the ranks of Club Brugge.

The centre-forward then had an experience at Lens before joining RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023 for €40 million. He has thus far made 91 appearances for the German club, scoring 41 goals and creating 18 assists.

However, Openda wouldn’t come cheap either, as his value at €50 million, and also notes interest from Tottenham Hotspur. ............

Arthur expected to complete Gremio return today

Barcelona Transfer News: Arthur confirms switch ahead of 2018-19 season | Goal.com English Saudi Arabia

Arthur Melo is reportedly on the verge of sealing a loan move back to Gremio from Juventus, with the deal said to be close to completion and possibly finalised within hours.

The Brazilian midfielder began his professional career with Gremio before making the switch to Europe, initially joining Barcelona. ............

Arthur has been out of Juventus’ long-term plans for several seasons. Despite joining pre-season training with the rest of the squad this summer under Igor Tudor, his involvement was not considered an indication of reintegration into the first team. ............

Gremio believe they have reached an agreement with Juventus and are confident of finalising the deal soon. The move would see Arthur rejoin his boyhood club on loan, giving him the opportunity to revive his career in familiar surroundings.

The transfer, once completed, would represent a homecoming for the midfielder, offering him the chance to rebuild his form and consistency in an environment where he first made his name. ............

Lille President Olivier Letang confirmed talks with Juventus for Edon Zhegrova, but insisted ‘the door was a little more open then than it is today.’ ............

In a press conference today, LOSC President Letang laid out the situation from his point of view.

“He trained with us, he’s here and at the disposal of the coach,” said Letang.

“This is because there’s a good chance he will be with us this season. I know (Juventus director) Damien Comolli very well, we’ve spoken several times since he took over at Juventus.

“It’s true we had some discussions a few weeks ago. The door was perhaps a little more open then than it is today. My position is that Edon is staying with us this season.

“Besides, at this moment, we have not received an offer. The Italian media tend to get carried away. There is no agreement at all and no discussion of Edon departing for Italy.” ............

The Italian media has reported that Zhegrova agreed personal terms with Juventus and would give them the preference for the next step in his career. ............
