DUTCH WONDERKID DEAN HUIJSEN MAKES JUVENTUS FIRST TEAM DEBUT IN VICTORY OVER AC MILAN

IMG_1651.jpg

Juventus were victorious in their Serie A clash with AC Milan on Sunday evening. A 63rd minute strike from former Milan midfielder Manuel Locatelli sealed the 1-0 win for the visitors, moving them up to third place in the table. The night was incredibly special for one Juventus player in particular. 2005-born Dutch defender Dean Huijsen was handed his first team debut, as he helped his side see out the victory.

At 18 years old, Huijsen became the sixth Dutch player to play for Juventus. The youngster featured for 15 minutes, coming off the bench to replace Federico Gatti. Dean Huijsen has spent the last three seasons with Juventus’ youth academy. The centre-back has represented Netherlands U17’s 11 times, the U18’s four times and last month he captained the U19’s squad in their 2-0 victory over Italy. Huijsen is definitely a defender to keep an eye on. ...........

Huijsen Preferred Juventus to Barcelona, Says Agent

Alex Santisteban, the agent of Dean Huijsen, illustrated how his transfer to Juventus came to be two years ago in an interview."

Alex Santisteban, the agent of Dean Huijsen, illustrated how his transfer to Juventus came to be two years ago.

“Even Jordi Cruyff, when he was a Barcelona executive, had taken action personally to sign him. However, we picked the Bianconeri over Bayern Munich and the Blaugrana for two reasons. First of all, their clarity. They were impressive and surgical in describing the type of career he could have. They had a clear plan for him, step by step.”

“Juventus had a project for Huijsen, and we fell in love instantly. Furthermore, he wanted to measure up with the Italian league, which is ideal for grooming a defender technically and tactically. It’s like a Master for center-backs, like Barcelona for box-to-box midfielders, or Real Madrid for a no.10. His role models are Giorgio Chiellini, Sergio Ramos, Virgil van Dijk, and Matthijs de Ligt.” ..........

Juventus, Frosinone set to close Dean Huijsen loan move

A Juve youngster on loan with Frosinone? That never happens!

Lucchese v Juventus Next Gen - Serie C

According to multiple reports out of Italy on Wednesday, Juventus and Frosinone are close to agreeing to a loan deal — and, just for the record, a dry loan for the rest of the season — for young Dutch center back Dean Huijsen come the January transfer window. The 18-year-old Huijsen is set to become the fourth Juve youngster on loan at the newly-promoted side — which hosts Juventus on Saturday afternoon — this season, joining the likes of Matias Soule, Enzo Barrenechea and Kaio Jorge. .............

But it’s going to be Frosinone, which just Tuesday had reportedly emerged as the favorite to sign Huijsen on loan for the second half of the 2023-24 season.

And judging by how Frosinone have handled the first round of Juventus youngsters to head there on loan at the beginning of the season, this can only be looked at as a good thing for Huijsen for the next five or six months.

Simply going by the fact that Frosinone manager Eusebio Di Francesco doesn’t really hold a player being extremely young against them, Huijsen is going to be in a much better position to get playing time at Frosinone compared to Juventus, where he is currently bouncing between the senior team and Next Gen squad. Huijsen has made just one senior appearance so far this season, a 12-minute cameo late in Juventus’ win over AC Milan at the San Siro back in October.

Dean Huijsen’s move to Frosinone is all but done now

Juventus-debutant Dean Huijsen kiest mogelijk niet voor het Nederlands elftal'

Dean Huijsen is set to become the fourth young player from Juventus to spend the current season on loan at Frosinone after an agreement was reached between the two clubs.

This loan arrangement follows the temporary transfers of three other Juventus players to the newly promoted side earlier in the season, with all three enjoying regular game time.

Despite being promoted to Juventus’ first team this season, Huijsen has seen limited playing opportunities. Recognising the importance of regular game time for the youngster’s development, Juventus has arranged for him to join Frosinone on loan. .............

Alex Sandro injury doesn’t change transfer plans – Juventus youngster set for Frosinone medical

Huijsen-corta-balon-Leao_1841525873_195375854_667x375.jpg

Juventus youngster Dean Huijsen is still set to complete a loan move to Frosinone despite the lack of options at the back.

The 18-year-old earned a promotion to the first team in the summer but has been starving for playing time. He only took the field once this season, making his senior debut in a late cameo against Milan.

Instead, he has been featuring more regularly with the Juventus Next Gen squad, making ten appearances in Serie C.

Nevertheless, the Bianconeri would like the teenager to collect some experience at a higher level.

Therefore, Juventus struck an agreement with Frosinone who would host the defender on loan until the end of the season.

Huijsen will join a contingent of Juventus youngsters who have been plying their trade at the Stadio Benito Stirpe this season, namely Matias Soulé, Enzo Barrenechea and Kaio Jorge.

The youngster will undergo his medical tests on Tuesday before finalizing his transfer in January.

The source insists that Juventus won’t alter their plans despite Alex Sandro’s recent injury. .............

Juventus, Roma reach agreement on Dean Huijsen loan deal

Mourinho laat 'groot talent' Huijsen zondag mogelijk meteen debuteren bij Roma | Voetbal | NU.nl

Turns out last weekend’s little post-game exchange between Juventus youngster Dean Huijsen and Roma manager Jose Mourinho was more than just a simple handshake.

The young Dutchman who was widely expected to head to Frosinone on loan for the rest of the 2023-24 season come the new year won’t be joining the handful of Juve youngsters who are already there. Instead, Huijsen and his representation have pushed for a loan move to Mourinho’s Roma — and on Friday, that deal was finalized between the Giallorossi and Juventus, according to multiple reports out of Italy.

Juventus will reportedly receive €700,000 as a loan fee for the dry loan, which will go down to €500,000 if Huijsen is to appear in at least 10 games for Roma, according to Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti. There are also reports that young Roma winger Luigi Cherubini — who is out of contract at the end of the season and has showed no intentions of signing an extension — could be included in the deal. The 19-year-old Cherubini would join Juve’s primavera squad. Roma would, though, have a clause where they would receive 50% of any future sale. .............

The manner of which it all came about might irk some people, though. Things seemed pretty locked in with Frosinone even though Huijsen hadn’t traveled there to undergo his medical. Everything was agreed and it looked like Huijsen was about to head to a very good place for young players to develop at a club that doesn’t shy away from players his age. But the sudden change to Roma just seems ... out of nowhere and maybe something that’s a little off-putting. These things can happen, but not all that frequently when one deal is pretty much done and agreed to.

No matter what, though, Huijsen has made the trip to Rome rather than Frosinone for his medical exams and is about to spend the next six months in the Italian capital. Let’s hope that it goes as well as a loan spell this season has gone for a certain Argentinian who would have been his teammate at Frosinone.

Dean Huijsen changes his nationality as his stock keeps rising

447_LPS_1228510-scaled-1.jpg

Dean Huijsen has emerged as the most promising Juventus youngster out on loan since the beginning of this year, despite his recent move to AS Roma in the last transfer window. .............

In addition to his on-field success, Huijsen recently settled the debate surrounding his international future, which had been a subject of contention between Spain and the Netherlands. Although he relocated to Spain at the age of five, he has been representing the youth teams of the Netherlands in recent years. .............

Huijsen has now completed a change of nationality, making him eligible to be selected by Spain. While he won’t be able to join the Spanish squad for Euro 2024, the talented youngster has become a player worth watching, and he could potentially feature in their squad for future competitions. .............

The 18-year-old has reportedly caught the eye of Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United. The interest from such prestigious clubs underscores the high regard in which the teenager is held.

Huijsen’s appeal to these English clubs is understandable given his displays of skill and maturity at Roma. His potential shines brightly, suggesting a promising future. .............
