Juventus could settle for Nico Gonzalez as other transfer options are too expensive

Nicolas-Gonzalez.jpg

Juventus wants to add a new winger to their squad, and in the last few weeks, they have been speaking with Karim Adeyemi’s entourage. .............

But Borussia Dortmund does not want him to leave the club and has set a high asking price for his signature.

Juve is now struggling to meet it, and reports suggest that they might abandon a move for him. .............

They are now set to settle for Fiorentina’s Nicolas Gonzalez, who is valued at 30 million euros, and Juve can sign him for a smaller fee. .............

Fiorentina open to sending Gonzalez to Juventus in exchange deal

Italian Serie A Portrait Session

An exchange deal between Juventus and Fiorentina may be rapidly brewing, as Nicolas Gonzalez could arrive in Turin with Weston McKennie heading in the opposite direction. ............

Fiorentina are open to a player exchange, with McKennie the most likely candidate to be included as a makeweight.

The Tuscans have been tracking the USMNT star who finds himself an outcast at Motta’s court in Turin.

Moreover, the Texan’s contract with the Bianconeri will expire next year, so the club is determined to sell him this summer. ............

As the transfer window enters its final three weeks, Juventus is eager to wrap up its remaining business swiftly. ............

After failing to secure Karim Adeyemi, Juventus has turned its focus to Fiorentina’s Nicolás González. The Argentine winger is keen on the move, but Fiorentina is firm in its €35 million valuation of him.

Juventus ironing out the final details in Nico Gonzalez operation

Nico González la rompió en el triunfo de Fiorentina | El Gráfico

Juventus are only one step away from signing Fiorentina star Nicolas Gonzalez according to multiple sources in the Italian media.

The Bianconeri are in dire need of new wingers following Matias Soule’s departure to Roma and the omission of Federico Chiesa and Filip Kostic.

The Serie A giants’ lack of attacking depth was exposed in yesterday’s friendly encounter against Atletico Madrid. ............

The Bianconeri have an agreement in principle with Fiorentina over a transfer fee worth 30 million euros.

The 26-year-old is also in favor of the move, giving his green light for the operation.

So while Motta and the squad were in Sweden for the final friendly of the season, Juventus Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli didn’t accompany the team as usual. The 51-year-old stayed behind as he’s looking to wrap up a few transfers, beginning with Gonzalez. ............

The source also notes that Weston McKennie and Filip Kostic could be heading in the opposite direction as exchange pawns. ............

Fiorentina president blocks Gonzalez transfer to Juventus – What’s behind the move?

Fiorentina, a club from across the Channel comes forward for Nico Gonzalez - Sportal.eu

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has reportedly decided to deny Nicolas Gonzalez passage to Juventus according to multiple sources in Italian media.

The 26-year-old has been eyeing a summer exit as he’s no longer happy in Florence. The winger is keen to join Thiago Motta’s ranks and the negotiations were apparently heading in the right direction. ............

Commisso has decided to block the operation and took the player off the market.

This is a particularly painful blow for Juventus who are in dire need of new wingers. Moreover, the management was hoping to include the likes of Weston McKennie and Filip Kostic in the deal, as the two are considered out of favor in Turin. ............

We wonder if this is a genuine move on the president’s part or rather a maneuver to drive the price up.

Commisso had initially rejected to sell the likes of Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus in the past, but in the end, he was all too happy to collect the cash.

Fiorentina had previously assured Gonzalez of a summer transfer after declining offers from Leicester City and Brentford. It is reported that Gonzalez has already reached agreements with both Juventus and Atalanta, with Juventus being the frontrunner to acquire the Argentine forward. ............

Juventus finalize deals for Nico Gonzalez, Francisco Conceiçao

ACF Fiorentina v SSC Napoli - Serie A TIM

 ............

According to reports out of Italy on Saturday, Juventus have finalized deals for both Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez as well as Porto’s Francisco Conceiçao. Not one, but two wingers will arrive in the final week of the summer transfer window and Thiago Motta will get two of the technical wide players that Giuntoli has been chasing for the better part of the last month. Both players will arrive on initial loan deals, with Gonzalez’s loan fee being €8 million with there being an obligation to buy worth a total package of around €37 million and Conceiçao costing Juve €7 million plus another €2 million in bonuses for the season-long loan.

Considering how the last 24 hours have been when it comes to rumors about Juventus chasing wingers — Gonzalez, Conceiçao and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho — it only made sense that news of the two deals being closed came in relatively short order. ............

But for now, we know that Juventus have two talented wingers about to join the squad. As we bid farewell to Federico Chiesa and scramble to learn anything we can about Samuel Mbangula, Giuntoli has secured Gonzalez, a winger who already knows Serie A quite well, and Conceiçao, who could very well bounce between both wings depending on the situation. (Remember, if Koopmeiners arrives the expectation is that Kenan Yildiz slides out wide to the left wing.) ............

Multiple outlets in Italy are reporting that Juventus have now reached a final agreement with Fiorentina over the transfer of Argentine winger and recent Copa America winner Nico Gonzalez. ............

The Bianconeri have agreed to bring Nico Gonzalez in on loan with an obligation to buy. Most outlets agree that the deal will cost Juventus a total of €38m. It will be a €8m fee to bring him in on loan for the season, with a €25m buy clause plus €5m in bonuses for a total of €38m.

That is not far off the €40m price tag that Fiorentina had originally been seeking.

Nico Gonzalez already agreed a package on personal terms with the Old Lady earlier this month, and is reportedly ready to sign off on a €3.5m per-year contract.  ............

Francisco-Conceicao-Portugal-Juventus-target.jpg

Nico Gonzalez is arriving tonight and Francisco Conceicao expected tomorrow, as Juventus make two big deals to reinforce their wings in one day.

Director Cristiano Giuntoli has been hard at work over the last 24 hours, managing to secure two important reinforcements for coach Thiago Motta.

The first was the agreement with Fiorentina for Nico Gonzalez, who arrives on loan for €8m with an obligation to buy for a further €25m plus up to €5m in add-ons. ............

Meanwhile, Francisco Conceicao is expected to land at Caselle Airport in Turin on Sunday, with his physical check-up scheduled for Monday.

This is expected to be a dry loan, meaning there is no option to make it permanent.

That makes this a surprisingly costly borrowing of a talented young player for €7m plus €2m in performance-related bonuses. ............

Pavan blames national teams for causing injuries after Gonzalez fitness scare

Infortunio Nico Gonzalez, chi gioca al suo posto nella Juventus

Massimo Pavan believes that managers who select players who have not properly prepared for matches are often responsible for some of the injuries those players suffer.

He shared this view after Nicolas Gonzalez pulled up injured during Argentina’s latest match. ............

Although he is undoubtedly a key player for his country, his recent injury raises concerns. Pavan questions the decision to play Gonzalez, given that he has hardly featured this season. He said:

“These injuries don’t leave anyone at ease, but the fault lies with those who call up players who haven’t done the preparation. Obviously if you put a player who has never played to play 50 minutes he gets injured, it doesn’t take Einstein…” ............

Juventus officially presented their new signing Nico Gonzalez in a highly anticipated press conference. The Argentine forward, who arrived from Fiorentina during the last transfer window, shared his ambitions and enthusiasm for his new adventure in the black and white jersey.

Gonzalez expressed his joy at scoring his first goal for Juventus, saying, “I’m really happy. It was a dream for me to score wearing this shirt. It feels like the right moment to win the match as well. I’m very happy.” ............

Regarding his position on the field, Gonzalez showed his versatility: “When you play football, you’re happy. If I have to play goalkeeper, I’ll do it without problems. That’s my answer.”

The Argentine also spoke about his compatriots, particularly Angel Di Maria: “Yes, of course. My idol? El Fideo Di Maria, both on and off the field. I met him in the national team, and from day one, he treated me like a normal person, when he could easily be considered a god.”

Gonzalez revealed that he didn’t need much convincing to join Juventus: “When Juve arrives, you don’t think, you just say yes.” ............

Argentina make U-Turn on Nico Gonzalez call-up

Nicolas Gonzalez

The Argentine national team have reportedly decided to change their stance on calling up Juventus winger Nico Gonzalez for international duty. ............

The World Champions decided to add Gonzalez to the squad despite being out of action since sustaining a muscle injury during the Champions League against RB Leipzig on October 2nd.

This call-up naturally caused a stir in Turin. While the 26-year-old has been tipped to make a swift return to action, he hasn’t fully recovered just yet, and the last thing Juventus want is a relapse while on international duty. Moreover, the long flight to South America isn’t advisable in his case.

But thankfully for Juventus, Scaloni and his staff have now reconsidered their decision, reveals TyC Sports journalist Gastón Edul.

Therefore, the former Fiorentina star won’t be traveling to South America during the international break, but will remain in Turin to work on regaining his optimal physical condition. It remains to be seen if he’ll be part of Thiago Motta’s squad for Saturday’s Derby della Mole clash against Torino. ............

Juventus might have to wait until December to have Nicolas Gonzalez back

Gonzalez in action for Juventus

Nicolas Gonzalez has been steadily progressing in his recovery from injury, and there were hopes among Juventus fans that he might make a return to action sooner than expected, possibly even being included in the latest Argentina squad. However, those hopes were dashed when the attacker was left out of the national team and remains sidelined as he continues his recovery. ............

Gonzalez is making positive strides in his recovery, the game against AC Milan might come too soon for him. The Bianconeri are reportedly not willing to rush his return, and instead, they may opt to give him the necessary time to heal fully before he steps back onto the pitch. This decision is likely aimed at ensuring that the Argentine attacker doesn’t risk aggravating his injury and can return at full fitness rather than rushing him back prematurely. ............

The latest reports indicate that he might not be involved in the Milan game, and his return could be targeted for December, once he has had more time to recuperate.

This injury setback for Gonzalez is particularly concerning given his injury history at Fiorentina, where he also struggled with fitness issues during his time in Florence. His recurring injuries have made it difficult for him to maintain consistent playing time, which has been frustrating for both him and his clubs. Despite the promising flashes of talent he showed during his first few appearances for Juventus, his injury problems remain a major source of concern for the club. The fact that he has already missed several matches this season adds to this worry. ............

When will Nicolas Gonzalez return to fitness for Juventus?

Juventus 0-0 AS Roma: Serie A Draw A Glimpse Of Nico Gonzalez Future?

Nicolas Gonzalez last played for Juventus two months ago, and since then, he has missed nine matches for the Bianconeri. His absence has been a significant blow, as Juve signed him to become one of their key attacking players. He started his tenure at the club on a positive note, showcasing the skills that made him an important addition to the squad. The Bianconeri had always viewed him as an integral part of their future plans, and they are desperately in need of his return to full fitness.

However, Gonzalez’s injury troubles are not a new issue. Before joining Juventus, he was known to be injury-prone during his time at Fiorentina, which raised some concerns. Now, Juventus is facing the consequences of those concerns, with the player’s fitness issues continuing to hamper the team’s progress. Gonzalez will miss the upcoming matches against Bologna and Manchester City, which further complicates matters for Juventus as they head into a crucial period of the season.

The hope is that Gonzalez may be ready to return for their match against Venezia in mid-December, but even that timeline remains uncertain. ............

Given these repeated setbacks, Juventus may need to consider finding a replacement for Gonzalez in the January transfer window. If the Argentine winger does not return by the end of the year, it might be necessary for Juve to bring in another option to ensure the team’s depth and attacking power. ............

Motta should find a way to play Nicolas Gonzalez and Dusan Vlahovic together

Gonzalez v Monza

Juventus is reportedly on the verge of completing a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani in the coming days, a move that would add another striker to their attacking options. This development comes at a crucial time for the Bianconeri, who have long required reinforcements in the forward line, having relied heavily on Dusan Vlahovic throughout the season. ............

Although Gonzalez has been an admirable deputy, he is not a prolific scorer like Vlahovic. Fans have voiced their desire for more goals from whoever leads the line, yet Gonzalez contributes in ways that extend beyond goals. His technical ability, intelligent movement, and knack for picking the right pass make him a valuable asset. By creating space and linking play effectively, Gonzalez allows his teammates to thrive around him. ............

The prospect of pairing Gonzalez with Vlahovic is an exciting one for Juventus supporters. Gonzalez’s off-the-ball movement and creativity could complement Vlahovic’s more traditional goalscoring prowess. Opposing defences would face a dilemma over which player to focus on, potentially opening up opportunities for both attackers. This dynamic partnership could bring an element of unpredictability to Juventus’ attack, forcing opponents to adapt to the Bianconeri’s fluid play.

Additionally, the presence of both players on the pitch would not only benefit each other but also provide openings for other attacking players. By occupying defenders and creating space, Gonzalez and Vlahovic could help teammates find better positions to score, enhancing Juventus’ overall offensive output. ............

Juventus set their price for winger wanted at Marseille

Venezia Juve, Nico Gonzalez torna in quel ruolo! Le ultime

Juventus are reportedly open to selling Nicolas Gonzalez less than a year following his arrival, as Olympique Marseille emerges as a possible destination. ............

Juventus would be willing to part ways with Gonzalez if they were to receive an offer in the region of €25 million.

While this might not be a substantial figure in today’s market, it should be enough to avoid registering a capital loss, and would also allow the club to reinvest it in a new addition to the squad. ............

The same source reveals interest from Marseille who remain keen to bolster Roberto De Zerbi’s ranks with renowned talents.

The Ligue 1 giants secured their spot in the Champions League after finishing second in the table behind European champions, Paris Saint-Germain. ............
