Three youngsters could leave Juventus this summer

Soule

Juventus is considering the possibility of loaning out some of its young players during this transfer window as the club aims to rebuild its squad and enhance its competitiveness.

While the Black and Whites boast some of the finest young talents in Serie A, they recognise the importance of experienced players in leading them to success, and the club intends to invest in seasoned professionals.

However, Juventus currently has a number of promising youngsters in its ranks and finding a suitable solution to aid their continued development is imperative.

According to a report from Tuttojuve, the Bianconeri are prepared to transfer Matias Soulé, Fabio Miretti, and Enzo Barrenechea.

These three individuals are highly talented youngsters, and Juventus expects them to continue flourishing within the club. Nonetheless, a temporary move elsewhere could potentially accelerate their progress.

Cristian-Romero-Argentina.jpg.webp

Argentinean journalist Gastón Edul claims Juventus are interested in Tottenham defender Cristian Romero.

The Argentina international is a former Juventus player, although he’s never made his debut with the Bianconeri.

Tottenham signed him from Atalanta for €50m in 2021 after ‘Cuti’ was named the best Serie A defender for 2020-21.

Now, according to Argentinean journalist Gastón Edul, the Bianconeri want to bring him back to the Allianz Stadium.

Giuntoli targets two Serie A stars to kickstart his Juventus spell

holm

Following the termination of his contract with Napoli by mutual consent, Cristiano Giuntoli is poised to commence his role as the sporting director of Juventus. Regarded as one of the top deal-makers in the league, Giuntoli has wasted no time in identifying two players he wishes to acquire for the club.

According to a report on Tuttojuve, the former Napoli executive has set his sights on Emil Holm and Rasmus Hojlund to bolster the Juventus squad during the current transfer window. Both players have been under the Bianconeri’s radar for several months, and Giuntoli had previously pursued them during his tenure at Napoli.

Emil Holm is highly regarded as one of the league’s finest full-backs and is expected to be a relatively affordable signing from Spezia. On the other hand, securing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta may require a substantial transfer fee, as the striker has demonstrated his prowess and value to his current club.

Juventus looking to bring Franck Kessie in on loan deal

Another name to add to the list.

Getafe CF v FC Barcelona - LaLiga Santander

Ever since Adrien Rabiot signed his one-year contract extension a couple of weeks ago, things have been relatively quiet on the midfield front. There was the whole “Paul Pogba goes to Saudi Arabia” thing, but that definitely seems like an overblown media creation more than something that has concrete legs to it.

Well, as Juve are just a few days away from leaving for the United States tour, there’s a new name on the potential midfield signing front.

That name is former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, who is very much looking to be on the outs at Barcelona as they look to offload some money in the same fashion that Cristiano Giuntoli is trying to do at the moment. According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano amongst others, Juventus are interested in signing the 26-year-old Kessie on loan this summer with an option to buy 12 months from now. ....

Juventus, Fiorentina close to agreeing to Arthur Melo loan deal

Some good news for a change.

Juventus Medical Tests

As much as the Romelu Lukaku wave of rumors has taken over things of late, Juventus’ front office is very much aiming to do one main thing at the moment — sell off the deadwood as the squad gets ready to head to the United States for a trio of preseason friendlies.

It might be time to cross one name off the list.

Juventus and Fiorentina are close to completing a deal for midfielder Arthur Melo, according to Fabrizio Romano early Saturday. The deal will be structured as an initial season-long loan with Fiorentina holding an option to buy the Brazilian next summer if they so please. ....

Juventus have made a bid for Romelu Lukaku ... with a very obvious catch

Wonder what that could be...

Belgium v Austria: Group F - UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying Round

When the first Romelu Lukaku to Juventus rumors popped up last week, there was a line of thinking that once the weekend was over, those rumblings would basically go away.

Now as we’re set for a new weekend to begin, there’s even more signs that Juve is serious about trying to bring in Lukaku this summer ... with one very big and obvious catch to the whole deal.

According to both Fabrizio Romano and Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have sent in a bid to Chelsea in an attempt to sign the want-away Lukaku. However, as Inter tries to bring him back to San Siro on a permanent basis, there is something that is currently holding things up from Juve’s end. That would be, as you can probably figure out, the sale of Dusan Vlahovic, which hasn’t happened yet and would be the only reason as to why Juve would bring in Lukaku this summer.

Juve’s bid for Lukaku, you may be wondering? A €37.5 million fee with another €2.5 million in potential add-ons for the 30-year-old Belgian. Based on what Romano says Inter’s latest — and potentially final? — bid is, it’s for the same total amount of money but Juve’s offer has more money up front.

Editorial: Why Juventus shouldn’t sign Chelsea striker Lukaku

Romelu-Lukaku-Inter-apology.jpg.webp

Inter have pulled out of the race for Romelu Lukaku, giving Juventus free rein in negotiations, but picking up the Chelsea striker would not be a wise move, Apollo Heyes believes.

The 30-year-old Belgian striker is currently in a strange spot after the Nerazzurri’s decision to give up on signing him. The only serious suitors remaining are Juventus – who cannot make a move until selling Dusan Vlahovic – and clubs from Saudi Arabia like Al-Hilal.

A return to Chelsea seems incredibly unlikely for Lukaku. He has no interest in going back to West London and Mauricio Pochettino does not consider him a part of the project at the club going forward.

It seems then that the Belgian striker’s only hope to stay in Europe is a bid from Juventus, who would first need to find someone willing to pay €75-80m for Vlahovic. The Blues are not interested in a swap deal.

Whilst a move to Turin would suit Lukaku, the deal doesn’t appear to make too much sense for the Old Lady, who have spent the early stages of this summer desperately working to reduce their wage bill by trying to offload unneeded players like Arthur Melo, Denis Zakaria and Leonardo Bonucci.

Lukaku would command a star salary at Juventus, likely to make him one of the highest earners in the squad, and his arrival doesn’t seem to gel with the club’s project following the end of the Andrea Agnelli era. .....

There are rumours that Juventus may replace Massimiliano Allegri with Antonio Conte, which may explain some of their interest in the Belgian striker, but this is also hard to imagine, especially now that pre-season has started and the coach’s expensive contract.

BARCELONA’S FRANCK KESSIE YET TO OPEN UP TO JUVENTUS MOVE

FC Barcelona v FC Bayern München: Group C – UEFA Champions League

Juventus are keen on signing Barcelona’s Franck Kessie but the midfielder is yet to open up to the idea of joining the Bianconeri.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that over the last four days, contact has taken place between Barcelona and Juve for Kessie to understand the potential ways to thrash out a deal. The Bianconeri would like to sign the Ivorian on an initial loan deal with the option to buy.

But as things stand, Kessie is yet to open to the idea of moving to Juve and returning to Italy.

Saudi club bids €50m for Juventus attacking target

lukaku

Juventus will likely be pleased to hear that Inter Milan is no longer in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku. However, that doesn’t mean the Belgian striker is without other potential suitors.

Juventus has acted swiftly to secure the commitment of a top striker, possibly in anticipation of selling Dusan Vlahovic. According to a report on Football Italia, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia remains interested in a move for Lukaku and has reportedly tabled a bid of €50 million to Chelsea for his signature.

While Al Hilal remains keen on signing Lukaku, the report adds that Lukaku himself insists he is not ready to leave the continent. This suggests that Juventus may not need to be overly concerned about the bid from Saudi Arabia, as Lukaku’s preference seems to be to continue his career within Europe.

Spezia asks for a Juventus youngster in Holm talks

de winter

Spezia and Juventus have been engaged in negotiations for the acquisition of Emil Holm in the current transfer window, with the Bianconeri keen on adding the Swedish defender to their squad.

Juventus has expressed a strong interest in Holm and envisions him as a key player if he joins the Turin-based club this summer. ....

In an attempt to sweeten the deal, Spezia has requested that Juventus include Koni de Winter, one of their promising players from the Next Gen squad, as part of the transfer package for Holm.

However, Juventus is not inclined to agree to this proposal and instead prefers to pursue a cash-only deal to secure Holm’s transfer. The Bianconeri seem determined to avoid parting ways with their young talents and are focused on making a straightforward financial arrangement to complete the signing.

Giuntoli wants to bring David to Juventus

11170906.jpg.webp

Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has identified Lille’s Jonathan David as a top option to bolster the club’s attack.

The Bianconeri are seemingly willing to cut their losses on Dusan Vlahovic this summer, open to selling him for around €70-80m in order to pick up a new centre forward. ....

Pages two to seven of today’s Tuttosport detail how Giuntoli already found success betting on a Lille forward in the past, taking Victor Osimhen to Napoli, and now he’s keen to repeat the move by bringing David to Juventus.

The 23-year-old Canadian striker has a €60m price tag and is contracted to the Ligue 1 side until June 2025.

New Bianconeri signing Timothy Weah discussed David when reflecting on his first few days in Turin, saying: “David is one of my best friends, he asked me questions. I told him that if he decides to come to Juventus, he must be ready to work hard.”

Real Madrid star turns down Juventus approach

Lucas Vázquez

Juventus is currently in the midst of an active pursuit of transfer targets, with Cristiano Giuntoli leading the efforts to bolster the squad and make it instantly competitive.

Over the past two seasons, the Bianconeri haven’t performed at their best, and Giuntoli’s primary focus in this transfer window is to address any redundancy and complacency within the team before the start of the new season.

Among the players on Juve’s shopping list is Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez. However, it appears that the Spanish winger is not particularly interested in the move.

Despite discussions between Juventus, Vazquez, and Real Madrid, the player has turned down their approach. Real Madrid is willing to consider selling him now, given that he has only 12 months left on his contract. However Vazquez intends to leave the club as a free agent next summer. .....

How UEFA exclusion changes Juventus’ transfer strategy

11288293.jpg

Following the confirmation of Juventus’ exclusion from European competitions for the 2023-24 season by UEFA on Thursday evening, there could be a need to alter the team’s strategy in the transfer market.

Juventus have also been hit with a €10m fine, which could rise to €20m if certain financial fair play requirements aren’t met within the next three years.

It is expected that Juventus will also lose out on up to €80m in revenue through their lack of European football next season.

Given that Juve also posted significant losses for the last three financial years, largely in part to the results of the Covid-19 pandemic, and now that they have to operate with UEFA’s financial requirements looming over them, the club will face a difficult challenge in raising funds this season. .....

The Old Lady now only have Serie A and the Coppa Italia to contend with and without European football, will play somewhere between two and 12 games fewer than last season.

So, not only is there a need to raise funds, but there is also a feeling that a smaller squad would do the trick this season.

Calciomercato writes that as a result, more young players, including the likes of Fabio Miretti, Koni De Winter and Andrea Cambiaso, will be allowed to move out on loan compared to previous seasons.

Big names who may have previously been considered unsellable, such as Federico Chiesa, Gleison Bremer or Dusan Vlahovic could also now move on if suitable offers arrive before the close of the window. ....

Juventus approach PSG for Donnarumma

Gianluigi-Donnarumma-Italy.jpg.webp

Juventus have approached Paris Saint-Germain to ask about bringing Gianluigi Donnarumma back to Italy, claim reports, as Wojciech Szczesny is courted by Bayern Munich.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, so far it has only been an exploratory enquiry to get an idea of the figures.

The former Milan goalkeeper has long been linked with a potential switch to the Bianconeri and his situation in Paris is increasingly unstable.

The arrival of new coach Luis Enrique is not the only concern, as Donnarumma is also anxious after a gang of thieves held him and his girlfriend at gunpoint in their home earlier this month. .....

Frosinone wants to sign Juventus youngster on loan

Nicolussi Caviglia

Frosinone is expressing interest in acquiring midfielder Hans Nicolussi Caviglia as his future at Juventus remains uncertain. The young midfielder is part of a talented group of emerging players in Juve’s squad, but with several other impressive young midfielders in the team, it becomes crucial for him to secure sufficient playing time to further develop his potential at the Allianz Stadium.

Given the competition for playing time at Juventus, the best course of action for Caviglia’s development is a loan move away from Turin. Last season, he was loaned to Salernitana, and now several clubs are interested in securing his services. ......

Juventus reaches agreement with Genoa for De Winter

de winter

The transfer of Koni de Winter from Juventus to Genoa has been finalised. Juventus’ Next Gen team has been instrumental in nurturing talented players, and De Winter is the latest promising prospect to come through their ranks.

The defender had a productive loan spell at Empoli last season, which undoubtedly aided in his development. However, with limited opportunities for playing time at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium in the upcoming season, the move to Genoa presents an excellent opportunity for him to continue his professional football journey and gain valuable experience in Serie A.

The agreement between Juventus and Genoa involves a loan deal initially, with a permanent transfer set to be triggered based on certain performance objectives. ......

Monaco agrees to pay 20m euros for Zakaria

zakaria

Juventus has successfully reached an agreement with AS Monaco for the transfer of Denis Zakaria, the Swiss midfielder who had been transfer-listed by the club after returning from his loan spell at Chelsea last season.

Despite his loan stint with Chelsea, the Blues decided against making the move permanent, prompting Zakaria to seek a new club. West Ham had expressed interest in adding him to their squad, but negotiations with Juventus didn’t lead to an agreement.

However, Tuttomercatoweb reports that there were recent renewed talks between Juventus and Monaco, and both parties were able to find common ground. The deal has been settled at a transfer fee of 20 million euros, with Zakaria set to continue his career with the Ligue 1 side. .......

Juventus eye move for Bayern midfielder Goretzka

11348171.jpg

Sky Sports Germany claim that Juventus are thinking about making a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka.

The Bianconeri have been quiet so far in the summer transfer window, only completing deals for Timothy Weah and Arkadiusz Milik. They are still discussing a possible swap deal involving Dusan Vlahovic and Romelu Lukaku with Chelsea.

In the meantime, Juventus are looking around for options to bolster their midfield, having missed out on interesting targets like Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Davide Frattesi.

As reported by Sky Sports Germany, Goretzka has seemingly fallen down the pecking order at Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern and could leave the club this summer. ......

Official: Juventus winger Marley Aké signs for Udinese

Marley Ake

On August 20th, Juventus will kickstart their Serie A campaign in an away fixture against Udinese. Andrea Sottil’s squad will include a familiar face for the Bianconeri in the form of Marley Aké.

The 22-year-old has officially completed a loan move from Turin to Udine as announced by the official Juventus website.

The Frenchman joined Juve in January 2021 in an exchange deal with Olympique Marseille that saw Franco Tongya moving to Southern France.

Aké initially joined the Juventus Next Gen squad, cementing himself as one of the most talented starlets in the Serie C side.

The winger played for the first team on a few occasions during the 2021/22 campaign. However, he couldn’t quite cement himself a regular spot in the team, while an injury derailed his momentum.

Last season, he spent the second part of the campaign on loan at Ligue 2 side Dijon. .......

Lazio request Rovella from Juventus

h_57838974.jpg

Lazio are seeking a midfielder and will reportedly ask Juventus for Nicolò Rovella after failing to intercept Leicester City’s deal for Chelsea talent Cesare Casadei.

The Biancocelesti are trying to bolster their squad after qualifying for the Champions League and selling Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal.

Maurizio Sarri’s side had approached Chelsea to ask for Italy Under-21 international Casadei on loan, but it was too late to stop the agreement that was already in place with Leicester City.

The same source maintains their next target will be Rovella, who returned to base at Juventus after a loan spell with Monza. .....
