Giorgio Chiellini: I want to stay at Juventus despite Real Madrid rumours Italy international has slammed suggestions he is moving to Madrid when the transfer window reopens. May 13, 2011 Giorgio Chiellini has made it clear he has no intention to leave Juventus this summer despite being linked with Real Madrid. Reports from Spain suggested Chiellini could be used by Juve as a bargaining tool for Madrid players including Karim Benzema. A reported meeting between Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta and Madrid president Florentino Perez fuelled speculation of potential deals. But Chiellini has every ambition of staying with the Old Lady, even if it means missing out on a European place. "I don't know anything about the market rumours, but I know I want to stay at Juventus. [As for] Real Madrid, I repeat, I want to stay. And I think the club wants me to stay also," he told Tuttosport. The Bianconeri are struggling for a top-six finish. They are currently seventh and risk missing out on the Europa League.
