juventus-v-us-sassuolo-serie-a-tim.jpg

Juventus’ loss to Lazio has only further increased the doubts surrounding coach Massimiliano Allegri as their Champions League spot starts to look uncertain.

The Bianconeri have now managed to secure just seven points in their last nine Serie A games, picking up a single win since the end of January. Only Lecce, Sassuolo, Frosinone and Salernitana have done worse than Allegri’s side in the last two months. .............

Whilst the Bianconeri haven’t made any decisions yet, the next six weeks will be vital for the coach and the Old Lady. Failing to secure a top four finish would all but spell disaster for the Italian tactician.

Don Hutchison backs Premier League manager to replace Allegri at Juventus

Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri admits, "We were chickens." - Sportal.eu

On the latest episode of The Gab & Jules” show, former Liverpool star Don Hutchison filled in for Julien Laurens as co-host alongside Gabriele Marcotti.

Both co-hosts agreed that Juventus cannot afford to remain “rubbish” for the rest of the season, arguing that the management must decide to put an end to Max Allegri’s reign sooner rather than later.

Moreover, Hutchison suggested Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi as a replacement, but Marcotti pointed out that the club wouldn’t be able to afford him while simultaneously paying Allegri’s hefty wages. .............

Max-Allegri-Juventus-wave.jpg

Tuttosport newspaper reports Thiago Motta is the leading candidate to replace Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus in 2024-25, but Massimo Brambilla or club legend Paolo Montero could be appointed as interim coach if the Livorno-born tactician is sacked before the end of the season.

Allegri is under pressure at the Allianz Stadium as the Bianconeri won just one match from the last nine. They still sit third in the Serie A table, but Bologna are just two points below the Old Lady and Roma and Atalanta are getting closer to a Champions League placement.

According to Tuttosport, Allegri could be sacked if Juventus get more disappointing results in the next two Serie A matches against Fiorentina and Torino. .............

Former Juventus coach doubts Allegri’s credentials as a manager

Massimiliano Allegri gives a hint about his future at Juventus - Sportal.eu

Max Allegri, once hailed as one of the premier managers in the world during his initial tenure at Juventus, is currently facing a significant downturn in his managerial career. .............

Amidst a crisis of confidence within the team, Allegri appears to be struggling to find solutions to their problems. As doubts about his managerial abilities intensify, there is a growing sentiment among observers that Allegri may not be the right person for the job.

With Juventus enduring a period of turmoil, calls for Allegri’s replacement are becoming increasingly vocal, with many advocating for swift action from the club’s management.

Speaking about the former AC Milan coach, ex-Juve manager Luigi Maifredi said:

“The impression is that there is no longer the security of the great team, there is the insecurity of those who know they are not competitive for one way or another. This makes it difficult to play the game and application on the pitch then becomes almost absent. A good chat should be had in which he understands that he should modernize. The impression is that he has remained stuck with Buffon, Barzagli, Chiellini and Pirlo, but those times are now gone. The Juventus coach has proven to be a magnificent manager of excellent players, but he has not managed to demonstrate that he is a great coach.” .............

Fabrizio Ravanelli admits Conte can rebuild Juventus but it will take time

Ravanelli: “Conte voleva allenare da inizio anno” › Napoli Network

Former Juventus striker Fabrizio Ravanelli believes that Antonio Conte has proven his ability to rebuild a team and could potentially do so for Juventus.

The Bianconeri find themselves in need of a rebuild after experiencing a downturn in form over the past two seasons. While Max Allegri’s side remains one of the top teams in Serie A, their performances have been underwhelming in recent months.

Despite the possibility of securing a Champions League place by the end of the season, Allegri’s future at the club remains uncertain. Juventus has been considering various candidates for the managerial role, including Thiago Motta. However, one potential appointment that Juventus could make is bringing Antonio Conte back to the club. .............

“Antonio was good at rebuilding at Juventus, at Inter but also in England , they know that he was a flag for Juventus and they would go for Conte because they are sure of his work culture and everything else but at the basis of everything there must be a project because you don’t solve all the problems by simply hiring a new coach, you need a complete job and it takes time because to rebuild a team by changing the coach it doesn’t return to winning. It takes time, it takes those players who can suit Juventus.”  .............

The current focus of discussion surrounding Juventus revolves around the future of Max Allegri, with numerous reports suggesting that he will depart the club at the end of the season.

Max-Allegri-Juventus-point.jpg

Former Juventus striker Alessandro Matri sees ‘too much distance’ between the club and Massimiliano Allegri and predicts the Italian tactician will leave the Allianz Stadium in June.

Allegri is under fire after Juventus’ 0-0 draw against Torino which means the Bianconeri have only two games from the last 11 in Serie A. .............

“There is too much distance between the club and Allegri, and it’s difficult to think they can continue together,” the ex-Italy international told DAZN.

“When you talk about a project, you can’t get to this point and continue to stall for time. .............

What Giuntoli said about Allegri

“At the end of the season, there will be time to sit down and understand what the future of Juventus will be with clear objectives,” said Giuntoli.

“That is what we did last summer. The coach has a contract, he is doing a great job and at the end of the season we’ll sit down to talk with him.”

juventus-v-us-sassuolo-serie-a-tim.jpg

Respected journalist Fabio Caressa suggested that Massimiliano Allegri ‘will no longer be the Juventus coach’ beyond this season, providing an update on his future.

The 56-year-old Italian tactician has come under increasing pressure during his second spell in the Piedmont capital, and things reached a new level this season. After putting up a strong fight with Inter in the early stages of the title race, things began to fall off in the second half.

Juventus have now managed just two wins in their last 11 Serie A matches, a run that has seen opinion on Allegri reach a consensus regarding his dismissal in the summer. One of the leading candidates to replace him is Bologna’s Thiago Motta, reports suggest. .............

Allegri future

Speaking to Sky Calcio Club via TMW, Caressa first discussed the letter sent by John Elkann to Juventus shareholders last week.

“The most important news of the week, beyond the 0-0 in the derby, was the letter that John Elkann wrote to the shareholders. There is a very important passage in which the team is given to Cristiano Giuntoli. .............

The famous Italian journalist then provided an update on the future of Allegri.

“Allegri hasn’t been called by anyone yet, he has a good relationship with Elkann who recognizes him for having carried the team through a very difficult moment, but he hasn’t been contacted to tell him if he’ll be staying or going yet.

“He feels a bit alone and abandoned but the feeling is that he will no longer be the Juventus coach next year.”

Juventus manager Allegri lands on Napoli shortlist

allegri9.jpg

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly emerged as a target for Napoli who are searching for a new manager.

The 56-year-old still has another year left on his contract with the Bianconeri. However, the two parties could opt to part ways at the end of the season, with the management seeking a fresh start with a more progressive manager.

Bologna boss Thiago Motta has emerged as the favorite candidate for the role.

So Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has Allegri on his coach shortlist. .............

The Partenopei have already an agreement in principle with Juventus sporting Giovanni Manna who will vacate his post in Turin at the end of the season and head south. The 35-year-old could thus sponsor Allegri’s move.

As for Juventus, they’re reportedly willing to offer a hand to make the operation feasible by covering half of the manager’s salary for the remaining year on his contract.
