  1. Real Madrid Prepare Shock Move For Bonucci http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/06/real-madrid-prepare-shock-move-for-juventus-defender/? Jun 17, 2015 Real Madrid are reportedly considering a surprise move for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci. The Spanish giants have so far expressed a desire to strengthen other areas of their squad but have now changed their transfer strategy in a bid to obtain a top-class defender. Spanish newspaper AS have reported that Los Blancos will aim to sell Frenchman Raphael Varane in a bid to raise funds for the Italian international, despite the player apparently agreeing a new deal with Juventus. It is stated that they hope to sell Varane to English Premier League side Manchester United for an estimated fee of €40 million and in return will use €30 million to make a bid for Bonucci. The 28-year-old was signed by Juventus from Bari in July 2010 for a total of €15.5 million and has since became an integral member of the squad, this season becoming the Bianconeri’s joint most played player with 52 appearances.
  2. Nedved: 'Tevez made Boca choice' http://www.football-italia.net/67914/nedved-tevez-made-boca-choice? Jun 17, 2015 Pavel Nedved confirms Carlos Tevez “wants to go home and has made his decision” to leave Juventus for Boca Juniors. The situation is now becoming clear, as today Tevez’s agents met with Juve to discuss an exit strategy a year before his contract expires in June 2016. “I think Tevez wants to go home,” club advisor Nedved told gianlucadimarzio.com. “This year he has given so much, but he appears to have made his decision now. He gave a great deal in these seasons for Juve and this year practically never held back.” It remains to be seen whether Boca will be able to pay a transfer fee or hope he can terminate his contract by mutual consent.
  3. Juve 'free Tevez' comments disputed http://www.football-italia.net/67913/juve-free-tevez-comments-disputed? Jun 17, 2015 Juventus director Beppe Marotta is quoted as saying Carlos Tevez can join Boca Juniors for free, but the comments are disputed. The striker wants a return to his beloved side in Argentina, but has a contract with the Bianconeri until June 2016. “The player is human and we must respect the human aspect of this situation,” Marotta was quoted in Argentine paper Olé. “He has expressed his desire to see out a glorious career in Argentina. We are waiting for his response, as we don’t want to generate a counter-productive situation that would cause problems for all concerned. “Hopefully we will get an answer by Saturday. If he stays, we will be happy. If he goes, we have a great deal of respect for all he has done and the will of the player is fundamental.” It was reported Juventus were asking for a €5m fee to release Tevez, but Marotta’s comments suggest the long-standing Boca pact could change that. “We are prepared to free him from his contract so that he can return home, but not to any other club, especially one in Europe. “We are certain that if he does leave, it will be for Argentina.” However, Sky Sport Italia and other sources based in Italy assure Marotta did not tell Olé that Tevez would be allowed to go free of charge.
  4. Tevez demands Boca move http://www.football-italia.net/67907/reports-tevez-demands-boca-move? Jun 17, 2015 Several reports claim the meeting between Juventus and Carlos Tevez’s agent has made it clear the striker wants to leave. It was reported earlier today that Adrian Ruocco would meet with the Bianconeri to decide the player’s future. Following reports that Tevez has agreed a contract with Boca Juniors, Sky, Calciomercato and Gianluca Di Marzio’s website are reporting that his agent has made it clear that the forward wants to be allowed to leave. The 31-year-old has always stated that he wishes to end his career with Boca, and the Argentinian side have been pushing to sign him a year before the end of his Juve deal. The Old Lady are believed to be demanding a €5m fee for their top scorer, but may also accept players in exchange.
  5. Tevez Will Only Leave Juventus If Boca Juniors Can Afford Him http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/06/tevez-will-only-leave-juventus-if-boca-juniors-can-afford-him/? Jun 17, 2015 Juventus striker Carlos Tevez’s agent has hinted that the Argentine will only return to Boca Juniors if his old club can offer him a similar package to the one he is on in Turin. It had been widely expected that the former Manchester City man would leave the Bianconeri this summer to move back to Buenos Aires – although his agent has claimed that Boca would have to try and go some way to meeting his €5.5 million annual salary. Speaking to TMW, his Italian agent Adrian Ruocco said: “Tevez to Boca? It is worth examining everything at the moment because we have to be able to understand it Boca Juniors can provide the same engagement to Tevez.” The Xeneizes vice-president has spoken in private about how he believes the club are close to agreeing the deal and he is happy with how negotiations have progressed. Boca Juniors are likely to have to offer up to €5m as a transfer fee if they are to secure the Argentina international’s signature.
  6. Tevez agrees Boca deal http://www.football-italia.net/67904/report-tevez-agrees-boca-deal? Jun 17, 2015 It’s reported Carlos Tevez has agreed a three-year deal with Boca Juniors, but Juventus want €5m for the striker. The President of the Argentinian club, Daniel Angelici, flew to Chile this week to meet with the forward, who is representing the national team in the Copa America. The Bianconeri have demanded an answer by the end of this week, and despite the player’s agent expressing doubt over Boca’s finances, Mediaset reports that a deal has been agreed. The news outlet believes that Tevez has agreed a three-year deal to return to his boyhood club, with his agent expected to meet with the Old Lady in Turin this week. Mediaset believes this is the last sticking point for the potential transfer, with Juve demanding at least €5m to allow their star man to leave a year early, though Boca could offer some promising youngsters in exhange. It’s believed that Mario Mandzukic would be the likely replacement were Tevez to leave, with some reports that a deal is already agreed with the Atletico Madrid man.
  7. Losing Carlos Tevez This Summer Would Be Terrible Business for Juventus http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2498570-losing-carlos-tevez-this-summer-would-be-terrible-business-for-juventus? Jun 17, 2015 As Juventus players and officials began their summer break, they would undoubtedly have done so in a supremely confident mood. The Bianconeri enjoyed an incredible campaign, winning a league-and-cup double for only the third time in the 118-year history of the club as their dominance of Italian football showed no sign of ending. Reaching the final of the Champions League was another major accomplishment, one they should reflect upon with great pride, as discussed in this previous column. Yet the continued success of La Madama could be irreparably damaged should Carlos Tevez opt to leave her behind in the coming weeks. Much to the dismay of supporters, the striker has been linked with a move to either Atletico Madrid or Boca Juniors, according to Selene Scarsi of ESPN FC. Juventus quickly made their position on the matter clear, with director general Beppe Marotta telling reporters the club “would respect his decision, but we want an answer by the end of the week,” via Sport Media Set (h/t Football Italia). Having already added Paulo Dybala, and with talk of a deal for Mario Mandzukic emerging from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, it would initially appear that the Turin giants could comfortably cope with the loss of a 31-year-old with just 12 months left on his contract. OptaPaolo ✔@OptaPaolo 50 - The number of goals scored by Carlos Tevez in 96 games for Juventus (in all competitions): one every 155 minutes. Departure? Yet that would overlook the massive contribution Tevez has made since arriving from Manchester City, a £10 million signing who has proven to be incredible value for money. In simple terms, he has netted 50 goals in 96 appearances for the club, making him comfortably the leading scorer over his two-year stay. Often overlooked in any discussion of the continent’s finest players, he may lack the supreme greatness of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi but should be leading the group of names behind them. Tevez possesses incredible skill, vision and awareness and is capable of shredding even the best defences with a moment of sheer brilliance. Unafraid of the spotlight, he performs when Juventus need him the most and was instrumental in their Champions League success this season. His belief that every game can be won no matter the circumstances makes his presence essential, and his attitude since arriving in Serie A has been nothing short of superb. Joining Gigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo and Patrice Evra, Tevez is one of the team’s genuine leaders, setting a wonderful example for his team-mates both on and off the pitch. Mandzukic may share the same tireless work ethic that the Argentinian is famous for, but it remains to be seen if the likes of Alvaro Morata, Paul Pogba and Roberto Pereyra would follow him in the same manner. That trio clearly hold Tevez in the highest regard, and Dybala could learn so much from a year of playing alongside him. Indeed, his passing on the effort, dedication and professionalism passed to his compatriot—and perhaps also to 20-year-old Italian star Domenico Berardi—would be invaluable. The goals would undoubtedly come from other members of the squad, but the intangible qualities of Tevez would be a loss that could prove difficult to overcome in a single summer. The Bianconeri thrived despite Antonio Conte’s hasty exit last summer yet might not be able to repeat that should Tevez follow the former coach through the exit door. If anything, the subsequent appointment of Massimiliano Allegri improved the team, and his shift away from the 3-5-2 formation only served to make Juventus—and Tevez himself—an even more devastating force against opposing defences. Under his guidance, the player has greater freedom of movement, which was reflected in his play this year as he arguably became even more important to the team. One final problem came to light on Monday, with the player’s agent Adrian Ruocco admitting to Tutto Mercato Web on Monday that they “don’t know if Boca Juniors are even capable of paying his wages,” (h/t Express Sport). Whether that is true or not, there is no denying the fact that Juventus simply cannot afford to lose Carlos Tevez this summer.
  8. Marotta: Pogba off the market - unless he asks to leave Juventus The Bianconeri are desperate to hold on to the France international but have now admitted that they will not keep him against his will. http://www.goal.com/en-za/news/4682/transfer-zone/2015/06/17/12803412/-? Jun 17, 2015 Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta insists that Paul Pogba is "off the market" - unless the midfielder says that he wants to leave Turin. Pogba is one of the most coveted players in world football, with European heavyweights such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City all interested in signing the 22-year-old. Marotta has repeatedly stated that Juve have no intention of cashing in on the France international - but he has now acknowledged that the player will ultimately decide whether he stays with the Italian champions. "He is a fundamental player in the Juventus squad," Marotta is quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport. "Pogba is off the market, unless he says he wants to go. And he has not done that." However, Barcelona presidential candidate Agusti Benedito claimed on Tuesday that he has spoken with both Juve and Pogba about a potential €80 million transfer to Camp Nou. Meanwhile, Marotta admitted that Carlos Tevez is likely to return to Boca Juniors this summer - despite still having a year to go on his Juve contract. "Players are human and he has expressed a willingness to bring an end to a glorious career in Argentina," he added. Tevez has been Juve's top scorer for the past two seasons, since joining from Manchester City, but has repeatedly stated his intention to see out his playing days at Boca, where he took his first steps as a professional. Indeed, Boca revealed on Tuesday that club president Daniel Angelici has travelled to Chile to meet with Tevez, who is representing Argentina at the Copa America, and discuss his potential return to La Bombonera.
  9. Marotta: Pirlo Will Stay At Juventus http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/06/marotta-pirlo-will-stay-at-juventus/? Jun 17, 2015 Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta assured fans that star Andrea Pirlo will not leave the club this summer. The Italian international has been linked with a move to America in recent weeks but Marotta rejected the possibility of Pirlo leaving and also spoke about the future of Carlos Tevez and other players linked with the club. “As things stand Pirlo will not be leaving the club. I don’t see any reason why he will go,” Marotta told Sport Mediaset.
  10. Juventus want Carlos Tevez's decision on his future by Saturday http://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/2494419/juventus-want-carlos-tevez-future-decided-by-saturday? Jun 16, 2015 Carlos Tevez must make a decision about his future with Juventus by this Saturday, the club's sporting director Beppe Marotta told Corriere dello Sport on Tuesday. The striker held talks with Argentine club Boca Juniors on Monday in Chile over a possible return to his former club. Tevez, 31, is under contract with Juve for another year but has been linked with a return to Boca Juniors while Atletico Madrid are also keen to sign the 31-year-old during the summer transfer window. "We are very grateful for everything that Tevez has done for Juventus and we would like him to remain with us," Marotta told the Italian daily. "We will respect his decision, but we want an answer by the end of the week. We think that is only fair for everyone. We will announce the decision on Saturday and the alternatives are either Juventus or Boca." On Tuesday, Boca president Daniel Angelici met with Tevez, who is representing Argentina at the Copa America. Angelici said that no decisions would be made until after the regional event. "We have to be prudent and be cautious. We must be respectful of Juventus, who have his rights," Angelici told ESPN FC radio (ESPN 107.9 FM) in Argentina. "Yesterday, all we did was have some maté together and talk because he his focused on Copa America. Once it is over we will see whether we can resolve his current situation with Juventus. If not now, surely it will be done when his contract is up in 2016. "Carlos Tevez has had offers from three or four big European clubs and we can't compete with them. We want to make the effort to bring a player of his level, but that is why we have to be patient and make the right moves. "If the possibility exists, it would be great. Each time we have tried to bring in a player it has gone well for us. We have a healthy club and we can make the effort. But until the Copa America finishes and everything is over, we have to be cautious. Right now, we are here to support the national team." Angelici, meanwhile, told TyC Sports via La Nación that Juventus or Boca are Tevez's only options. "I am sure that Tevez will stay either with Juve or return to Boca," he said, adding that any potential arrival of Tevez would not affect Daniel Osvaldo. The Italy international is on loan to Boca from Southampton through June 30. "They are completely different subjects," Angelici said. "The arrival of one does not depend upon the exit of the other. Osvaldo has a personal problem and when things calm down we will talk to him to find out what he wants to do and to determine whether we can afford to bring him in." La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport on Tuesday claimed the meeting had "positive results" and that a three-year contract worth $5 million a season could be in the offing. Tevez signed for Juve from Manchester City in 2013 and scored 20 Serie A goals last season as the Old Lady won a fourth straight league title.
  11. Iachini: Dybala Can Still Improve At Juventus http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/06/iachini-dybala-can-still-improve-at-juventus/? Jun 16, 2015 Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini believes that former Rosanero striker Paulo Dybala will have ample opportunity to become an even better player at Juventus. The Argentine joined the Bianconeri in early June for €32 million and €8m in bonuses following a highly successful season at Palermo in which he scored 13 goals and added 10 assists, and his former coach believes he can add to those totals with the Turin giants. “It’s great that we had a great first season on our return to Serie A”, Iachini told Palermo’s official site. “Dybala was the key player on our team last season. He had great willingness to learn new techniques, and I hope he will become even better in near future. “He has ample room for development in Juventus.
  12. 'I can do €80m deal for Pogba,' claims Barcelona presidential candidate Agusti Benedito says that he has already spoken with both Juventus supremo Andrea Agnelli and the player himself, who is also being tracked by Manchester City and PSG. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2015/06/16/12772992/-? Jun 16, 2015 Barcelona presidential candidate Agusti Benedito has claimed he will able to convince Juventus to sell Paul Pogba for €80 million if he is elected. Goal revealed last month that Paris Saint-Germain have already agreed a deal worth €80m [£58m] in principle for the 22-year-old, while Manchester City are primed to make a world-record bid. Barca, meanwhile, are currently prevented from registering any players until 2016 due to a Fifa-imposed transfer ban - but Benedito is adamant that he can signs Pogba if he wins the ongoing presidential race. "I have spoken to Pogba," he told 8 al dia. "First, I contacted Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli, then spoke directly with the player. "They have proposed an annual salary of €12m after tax and a transfer fee of €80m." Pogba is understood not to be keen on a return to his native France and would prefer a move to Barcelona and initial talks between Juventus and the newly crowned European champions were held last month. Benedito is also keen to seek a new shirt sponsor, stating that he is morally opposed to the current agreement with Qatar Sports Investment, which expires next year. "They represent the finance of international jihadist terrorism," he argued. "We have one, two or even three alternatives which will pay more money than Qatar." Benedito added that he is in no doubt that he is the right man to take charge of Barca - even though he freely admits he is by no means an aficionado of the game. "I have a business consultancy which works extensively in Bogota and is centred in the Latin American market," he explained. "I’m a big football fan but I don’t know a great deal about the game. "I dedicate my time to searching for talent in all parts of the world and, through that work, I have discovered that Manchester United is a club which works incredibly well." Barca's presidential race will be decided on July 18.
  13. Juventus will get a Carlos Tévez decision by Friday http://www.blackwhitereadallover.com/2015/6/16/8786297/carlos-tevez-juventus-boca-juniors-serie-a-transfer-rumors-2015 Jun 15, 2015 While there's been a lot of talk about who may be arriving at Juventus this summer besides striker Paulo Dybala and midfielder Sami Khedira, chatter of who may be leaving has been there as well. It's not as fun to talk about who might be leaving Turin because a lot of those names are near and dear to our hearts, but sometimes we just have to deal with it. According to word from a man in the know about a thing or two who goes by the name of Gianluca Di Marzio, we could very well know what the future holds for Juventus' No. 10, Carlos Tévez, in a matter of days at the very most. Considering how the future of Tévez seems relatively uncertain at this point, getting an answer — regardless of if it's good or bad — as soon as possible will be the most important development to date. After two great seasons in Turin, Carlos Tevez could be leaving Serie A. Juventus is waiting for the striker to inform them of his decision, the club and Tevez's entourage have agreed to meet in person by Friday to find out the final decision. Tevez is being pursued by PSG, Atletico Madrid and Boca Juniors but still has another season on his contract with Juventus. And for double confirmation regarding this matter... Romeo Agresti @romeoagresti Entro venerdì summit tra la #Juventus e l'entourage di #Tevez: dentro o fuori. Il #Boca, intanto, va in pressing. Romeo Agresti @romeoagresti #Juventus expects a response from #Tevez this week. See? Double confirmation. While we hear about rumors of Tévez drawing interest from the likes of Atléti and PSG, it's hard to imagine — at least from this person's point of view — to see him go anywhere other than Boca if he does end up leaving Juventus. Maybe that's just me, but the general feeling was that whenever Tévez did leave, whether it was this summer or next summer when his contract expires, it was because he would be heading home to Argentina to be with his family and play for Boca. Now we just have to play the waiting game. Which, in this case, isn't as fun as waiting for Dybala's move to Juventus was. That was exciting news, This has potential to be pretty unfortunate depending on which direction Tévez goes. So, until then, I guess we just get to hear about the same potential replacements for Tévez if he does leave this summer.
  14. Boca: ‘Contact with Tevez’ http://www.football-italia.net/67842/boca-‘contact-tevez’? Jun 15, 2015 Boca Juniors secretary general Cesar Martucci confirms ‘we have spoken with Juventus’ about Carlos Tevez. The Argentinian side have made no secret of their desire to bring Tevez back to the Bombonera, but the official also said club President Daniel Angelici has not yet spoken to the player after flying to Chile. “There are several different interests which must come together,” Martucci said, as reported by Calciomercato. “It’s up to President Angelici to negotiate, we’ve already spoken with Juventus and made contact with the player, but we have to be careful not to create expectations we then can’t live up to. “Tevez has another year on his contract with Juventus, and we respect that. We can’t get involved in their business and interfere. “In fact, the President has not yet talked with Tevez in Chile.”
  15. Angelici flies in for Tevez http://www.football-italia.net/67838/angelici-flies-tevez? Jun 15, 2015 Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici has flown to Chile to meet Juventus forward Carlos Tevez, but it’s not clear if he’ll be allowed to. The 31-year-old has been linked with a return to his boyhood club, with only a year remaining on his Bianconeri deal. Tevez is in South America, representing Argentina in the Copa America, and ESPN reports that Angelici has flown to host country Chile to meet with the forward. However, Calciomercato reports that the Argentinian federation, the AFA, may not allow the patron to meet with one of their players while the tournament is going on. As for Juventus, the Old Lady have made it clear that they’d like Tevez to stay, though have ultimately left the decision down to Tevez.
  16. Why Paul Pogba Is the Complete Modern Midfielder Jun 15, 2015 There is little doubt that Paul Pogba has become one of World football’s most in-demand players. Three seasons with Juventus have seen the Frenchman rapidly develop, turning in numerous high-quality performances as he begins to deliver on his huge potential. His name is constantly in the news, with talk of him becoming the game’s first €100 million-plus player should he choose to leave the Italian giants. This week, La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport reported on a supposed bidding war between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City (h/t Football Italia), yet the Bianconeri remain unmoved by such talk. "There have been no official bids or interest for him,” director general Beppe Marotta told TuttoJuve.com (h/t Forza Italian Football) just a few days ago. “I am convinced that he wants to remain with Juventus.” The reason for the continued chatter—and indeed the continually increasing price tag—is quite simple: Paul Pogba has evolved into the complete modern midfielder. It was something that his team-mates in Turin discovered instantly, quickly recognising his talent following his arrival at the club in July 2012. "After just a few training sessions we saw how good he was,” Gigi Buffon told Richard Tanner of the Express last month. "I have never seen a player who is so good at his age, he is so strong, so technically gifted, has exceptional all-round play." The Juventus captain—who has played alongside some of the greatest players of all time—is well-placed to pass such a judgment, and Pogba himself was smart enough to take notes from those around him. Indeed, it must be remembered that when he joined the Bianconeri, they had just completed an undefeated season, and the youngster was far from guaranteed a place in the side; that he has earned one is testament to the effort he has shown each and every day. Standing 6’2” (1.88m) tall and powerfully built, Pogba was clearly blessed with incredible physical gifts, and he has often been likened to compatriot Patrick Vieira because of them. “Compared to me, Pogba is more attacking, whereas I was more defensively-minded,” the World Cup winner told France Football and Tuttosport last year (h/t Football Italia). Indeed, while there are similarities between the two—most notably the speed at which they cover ground—there is no escaping the vast differences. To underline that, Pogba has netted 20 league goals for Juventus in just three years, trailing Vieira’s tally for his decade at Arsenal by just seven. Long-distance strikes have become something of a specialty, the 22-year-old netting with increasing regularity and incredible power. However, while each of these trademark strikes has come to be called a “Pog-Boom,” there is so much more to his game than his ability to find the back of the net. The younger man may not be throwing himself into fights with Roy Keane, but he works hard defensively, never neglecting his duties at that end of the pitch. The tactical discipline for which Italy is famous has clearly seen Pogba add awareness to his game, and he can be seen constantly shuffling back and forth to protect the defence behind him. Beyond the mental, physical and goalscoring capabilities he has displayed, Pogba also possesses an incredible first touch, often using it to leave defenders looking incredibly foolish. He has become adept at beating his man, showing both skill and flair to render a steady stream of opponents trailing in his wake. He has also worked to improve his distribution of the ball, with Paul Scholes revealing in a recent column for the Independent that he helped Pogba with this facet of his game during their time together at Old Trafford: He spoke to me about improving his range of passing. So, after training we would spend time pinging the ball to each other from 50 yards’ distance. He had stronger suits to his game than his long passing – his power, his technique at close quarters, his athleticism – but he was determined to get better at what he thought was the weaker part of his game. The results have earned the praise of none other than Andrea Pirlo, and it perhaps seems fitting to let the bearded genius have the final word on Paul Pogba's all-round greatness. “He has it all,” the Italy legend said recently, as reported by Amy Lawrence of the Guardian. “Physique, technique and an eye for goal. He is perfect. He can mark an era.”
  17. Allegri: Pogba for sale at the right price The Bianconeri boss has conceded that "certain figures are hard to say no to" and suggested star striker Carlos Tevez could depart. Jun 15, 2015 Massimiliano Allegri has conceded that Juventus could sell in-demand midfielder Paul Pogba this summer for the right price. The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Turin, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all tracking a player who could fetch a fee as high as €100 million. Allegri is desperate to hold on to the 22-year-old but admitted that the decision is out of his hands. "Obviously, with Paul, we're talking about a corporate choice - not a technical one: certain figures are hard to say no to," the Bianconeri boss told the giornalaccio rosa dello Sport. "But if Paul remains in Turin, he has to do with the right attitude and have no regrets. "Because what we have achieved this season is only a starting point and, to build for the future, Juve need motivated young players and veterans who will convey the right spirit to their team-mates." Carlos Tevez's future is also up in the air, with the Argentine considering a return to Boca Juniors while reports have also suggested Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain want him. Again, Allegri wants Juve's top scorer for the past two seasons to at least see out the final 12 months of his contract with the club but knows that the desire of the player will be key. "Carlos' future also depends on him," the ex-AC Milan boss added. "It is his choice. "But then again, those who remain have to know that the work for next season will be even more intense. I do not want people stopping to rest on their laurels."
  18. Allegri: ‘Morata worth €70-80m’ Jun 15, 2015 Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri values Spanish striker Alvaro Morata highly and has revealed his appreciation of Chelsea’s Oscar. The Old Lady boss also confirmed his club are negotiating with Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic, thinks it will be hard to reject a mammoth offer for Paul Pogba and says Carlos Tevez's future is in his own hands. Speaking in an interview with La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport, Allegri underlined his belief that 22-year-old forward Morata is a valuable asset. “If we must sell Morata, I’d hope that the club takes in at least €70-80m as that is his true value,” he said. “I think we must look to him and also to [Kingsley] Coman, who is another youngster with exceptional quality. The Coach revealed that he has asked for a ‘number ten’ attacking midfielder and expressed his admiration of Brazil international Oscar, while explaining the ongoing situation with Mandzukic. “It’s true that I asked for a number ten,” said Allegri. “I like Oscar a lot. He’s a player who can make the difference on the European stage as well, which is great as it’s not a given that a great league player can perform in Europe. “I like him, but I also like Isco, [Javier] Pastore, [Angel] Di Maria and [Toni] Kroos. “There aren’t many centre forwards in circulation. Mandzukic, Higuain…not many others. “Mandzukic would be a good element to help relaunch our attack. The contract isn’t a formality, but there is the desire to go forward together.” As for current Bianconeri stars Pogba and Tevez, Allegri explained that it could be hard to turn down a rumoured large bid for the Frenchman but that it is up to Tevez whether to stay or go. “This is a club decision and not a managerial one, but certainly it’s hard to say no to some figures. “But if Paul stays he must do so with the right attitude and without regret, because what we’ve achieved this season is only the beginning. “It’s up to Tevez whether to stay or not. But I repeat that whoever stays must know that the work for next season will be even more intense.”
  19. Tevez Wards Off Liverpool Transfer Interest Jun 14, 2015 Carlos Tevez has rejected the possibility of joining Liverpool in the English Premier League and is ever more likely to make a desired return to his beloved Boca Juniors in Argentina. After a prolific season of goal scoring with Juventus and earning a runners up medal in the Champions League final, the 31-year-old is reported to be keen on continuing his playing career away from Europe and back in his native South America According to the Daily Star, Tevez has said no to an offer from Atletico Madrid and now Liverpool, with the striker also set to respond to an imminent offer from Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days. The former Manchester United hit man has notched 39 Serie A goals since joining the Bianconeri in 2013 though his current contract with the Scudetto champions expires in 2016. Reports are now heavily linking him with a return home to Boca Juniors rather than an extension to his current deal.
  20. Boca Juniors Set To Meet With Tevez Jun 14, 2015 Argentinian powerhouse Boca Juniors are looking to bring Juventus striker Carlos Tevez back to La Bombonera. Tevez began his career with the Buenos Aires-based outfit and has never hidden his desire to return to his boyhood club. With Boca’s presidential elections approaching, incumbent Daniel Angelici sees the signing of Tevez as the chance to secure victory, particularly after a disastrous season. According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the ex-Manchester City forward will be offered a two year contract worth €5 million per season, which could see him link up with Italy striker Pablo Osvaldo. Tevez is currently with the Argentina national squad as they compete in the Copa America in Chile. It is reported that Angelici will fly out to meet with the Juventus man personally in a bid to convince him to join. Between 2001 and 2004 Tevez made 75 appearances for Boca and became a fan favourite, before leaving for Corinthians of Sao Paulo.
  21. 'I was bored of football' - People's player Tevez enjoying his second chance with Argentina The 31-year-old forward is back in favour for his country after more than three years in the international wilderness - and he is determined to make it count. Jun 14, 2015 The Copa America does not bring back happy memories for Carlos Tevez, but back in the Argentina set-up again after an absence of more than three years, El Apache is a changed man. And this time, he is eager to enjoy every minute. Tevez was the only player from either side to miss a penalty as Argentina surprisingly succumbed to Uruguay in the quarter-finals of the last Copa America in 2011 on home soil. It was a huge disappointment. That night in Santa Fe was worse still for Tevez personally because it was the start of a spell on the sidelines in international terms. Never picked by Alejandro Sabella, Carlitos didn't pull on the famous white and light-blue shirt again until late last year under current coach Gerardo Martino. Defeated, discarded and disillusioned, the forward fell out of love with the game and even his status as the people's player was little comfort. "Football bored me more than that nickname. At one time, I was more bored by that than by what people called me," Tevez told the Copa America official site in an exclusive interview. "Playing so much football bores you. There comes a time when, without a break, you get bored." But that extended period in the wilderness has given the Juventus forward a different perspective and Tevez in 2015 is a different player to the precocious talent that emerged at Boca Juniors and made his Argentina debut in 2004. "I'm 31 now, not 20 any more like I was then," he said. "Before I speak, I think about things. Before I spoke without knowing. That has made me more mature. "When you are in the national team for so many years and you see so many things, sometimes you don't enjoy it as much. But having been away for four years like I was, I have realised that the Seleccion (national team) is everything for a player. "It's a reward for everything you do at the club where you play. It's comfortable now. Today it is something, as I have said, that you enjoy much more. I missed the dressing room. I missed the guys. I missed this atmosphere." And even though he accumulated more than 60 caps between 2004 and 2011, Tevez believes he has more to offer this time around. "I am eight kilos lighter," he said. "I think I am better physically, better emotionally and better in football terms. I am better than I was before. When you feel important at your club, that makes you feel good inside and out, I believe that shows on the pitch." A superb season with Juventus saw the Argentine win Serie A and the Coppa Italia, before missing out to Barcelona in last weekend's Champions League final in Berlin. "As a kid I dreamed of being Tevez," he said. "I fought to be Tevez. It was very hard for me to become what I am today. I'm not going to reject what I am. I think to reject who I am would be to not value myself and not think about everything I did to become Tevez. "I love the passion, the fans, everything that surrounds it. I rejected that before, now I enjoy it. Everything. The day to day. Everything is a dream. You always have to get up each morning with a dream and try to achieve it. So I think that everything in football is a dream." And it is certainly a much happier dream now than the nightmare of 2011 and his subsequent enforced exile from the Albiceleste. "I don't like to call it revenge," he said. "But yes, it's a Copa America where you have the obligation of being a contender. This generation of players has been together for a long time and deserves to win something." For Tevez, however, it is not about personal glory. For El Apache, being back with the Albiceleste means much more than that. "I represent the lower class in Argentina," he said. "The poor people. You have to give everything on the pitch for them. "They are the people we should never forget because they are the ones that receive the least help. The aim is to give some joy to those people." A changed man but still the people's player, Tevez begins a new chapter with Argentina. And he is determined to make it count.
  22. Khedira: I didn't leave Real Madrid for the money The World Cup winner insists he could have signed a "huge contract" to extend his stay at the Bernabeu but needed a change after a stressful spell. Jun 14, 2015 New Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has hit out at suggestions he decided to leave Real Madrid for a better financial deal. The Germany star signed a four-year deal in Turin after his contract expired at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he played for five seasons and won seven trophies. Khedira, who is currently on international duty and came on in the second half of his side’s 7-0 victory over Gibraltar on Saturday, insists he could have earned more money by signing a new deal with Madrid than he will pick up with Juve. “It hurt me when people said that,” the 28-year-old told Welt am Sonntag. “Real Madrid offered me a huge contract - one in which I could have eventually earned more. My decision to leave was not about money. “You cannot accuse me of acting in an unfair or improper way. At one point I told my agent, Jorg Neubauer, who couldn't be a bigger Real Madrid fan, that I wanted a change. I was tired, because in the end it was all extremely stressful. “However, I have to say they were five fantastic years.” Khedira admitted the expectations of playing for Madrid were at times difficult to cope with but paid tribute to the club’s global appeal. “This obligation of having to win everything at all costs is something I have never experienced,” he said. “Real Madrid has an image abroad that words cannot describe. The club is a magnet. No matter where you are there will be thousands of people who are with the club. “I have experienced it myself. When I look for a holiday destination I always look for a place far away. But no matter how remote the place is, in any corner of the world, people always recognise me.”
  23. Pogba's best choice is to stay at Juventus - Evra The defender wants his team-mate to remain in Turin and expects the club to put up a fight to ensure he stays. Jun 14, 2015 Juventus veteran Patrice Evra believes Paul Pogba should stay at the club but understands the dilemma he faces over his future. A host of top European teams have been linked with the midfielder, while the player's agent Mino Raiola has repeatedly spoken about interest in his client. The 22-year-old joined Juve on a free transfer after leaving Manchester United in 2012 and has since won three consecutive Serie A titles with the Bianconeri. He also played a leading role as the club reached the Champions League final last season and Evra feels he should continue his development in Turin. "I'm here to advise him to make the best choice but I told him the decision is his," Evra told Telefoot. "People forget that Paul is young, and if he wants to go to a very big European club at age 22, why not? But if he wants to stay I think it would be a good idea. "I do not think that Juventus want to let him go." Pogba still has four years remaining on his current deal, which runs until June 2019.
  24. Carlos Tevez deal difficult due to Boca Juniors - Atletico Madrid president Jun 14, 2015 Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo says it will be difficult to sign Carlos Tevez from Juventus given the Argentina striker's long-standing desire to return to Boca Juniors. Tevez is under contract until 2016 and has repeatedly said he will not sign an extension as he plans to return to Boca, where he began his career, next summer. Atletico boss Diego Simeone has confirmed that he would like to sign the striker, but Cerezo accepts that the 31-year-old may only be thinking about a move back to his homeland. "It's difficult to compete with personal sentiment, as his heart might tell him to go to Boca, but he's a player we like who is a great person and professional," he told Radio Uno. Juve general manager Beppe Marotta told Tevez this week that he must make a quick decision, adding: "The possibility of him leaving is still very high, but I don't want to put a percentage on it."
