Marotta: 'Boca outlandish on Tevez' Apr 18, 2015 Juventus director Beppe Marotta blasted Boca Juniors for “outlandish” claims Carlos Tevez will leave Turin early. Marotta spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of tonight’s match against Lazio. Click here to follow our LIVEBLOG. Boca patron Daniel Angelici said on Friday that Tevez was “closer” to a return and would try to terminate his contract by mutual consent this summer. “The Boca Juniors President made some outlandish statements and must respect both our club and the player’s intentions. “Tevez has never said he wants to leave before his contract expires. He might have nostalgia for his home club, but that doesn’t mean he’ll quit Juve before 2016.” This morning Tevez's agent also criticised Angelici for "playing" with the emotions of both Juve and Boca fans.

JUVENTUS - LAZIO .- Saturday, April 18th, 2015 - 8:45 PM Juventus Stadium, Turin Referee: Nicola Rizzoli Line-ups: Juventus-Lazio Apr 18, 2015 It’s Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo against Felipe Anderson and Miroslav Klose as leaders Juventus host second placed Lazio. It kicks off at 20.45 CET. Juve are runaway leaders at the top of the table, while the Aquile finally leapfrogged Roma into second last week thanks to their eighth consecutive victory. If Lazio win tonight, it would close the gap at the top to a not-impossible nine points. Max Allegri already realised last week that the Champions League quarter-final against Monaco is a big distraction, as they lost 1-0 to bottom of the table Parma. That was only their second Serie A loss of the campaign, though they are still unbeaten in Turin. Paul Pogba, Martin Caceres, Kwadwo Asamoah and Romulo are still out of action, joined by the suspended Angelo Ogbonna. Andrea Barzagli returns from injury and Pirlo starts to get some playing time in his legs, having made his comeback after six weeks against Monaco. Alessandro Matri gets the nod in attack alongside Tevez, resting Alvaro Morata for the trip to Monaco next Wednesday. Other than that, it’s a pretty strong starting XI in an apparent 3-5-2 formation. Lazio are unstoppable at the moment, winning eight on the bounce and reaching the Coppa Italia Final – where they will face Juventus in June. Federico Marchetti is available with a protective mask after fracturing his nose in training. Pedro Luis Cavanda and Diego Novaretti sit out bans with Stefan de Vrij, Marco Parolo, Stefan Radu, Filip Djordjevic, Abdoulay Konko and Santiago Gentiletti sidelined. Felipe Anderson is the pacey Brazilian forward inspiring Lazio, joined by veterans Klose and Stefano Mauri, but Antonio Candreva is benched. Lorik Cana steps into central defence to fill in for De Vrij, who could be a very big loss indeed for Coach Stefano Pioli. Juventus: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Padoin, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Evra; Tevez, Matri. Juventus bench: Storari, Rubinho, De Ceglie, Lichtsteiner, Vitale, Sturaro, Marrone, Pereyra, Pepe, Morata, Coman, Llorente Lazio: Marchetti; Basta, Cana, Mauricio, Braafheid; Cataldi, Biglia, Lulic; Felipe Anderson, Klose, Mauri Lazio bench: Berisha, Strakosha, Ciani, Pereirinha, Ederson, Ledesma, Onazi, Candreva, Keita, Perea http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS - LAZIO .- Saturday, April 18th, 2015 - 8:45 PM Juventus Stadium, Turin Referee: Nicola Rizzoli ‘Lazio will play best team’ Apr 18, 2015 Stefano Pioli will pick the best team available to him against Juventus tonight, despite important absences. Stefan De Vrij and Marco Parolo are among the players who will sit out the game through injury, with Diego Novaretti suspended. “We’re missing important players like De Vrij, Parolo and Radu,” Pioli told journalists in his pre-match Press conference. “But anyone who has played so far has been ready, and it will be the same tonight. I don’t make choices because people need a rest, everyone wants to play. “I’ll play the best team I can tonight, especially seeing how good the opponent is. “Marchetti? He’s fine, he’s trained well. It’s not decided whether he’ll play with a protective mask. He’s not afraid of anything.” Despite being just one point above city rivals Roma, Pioli insists that his side will not play for a draw tonight. “That’s not part of our mentality. If we were to get a draw while playing for the win, then so be it. We’ll go out not trying to get a positive result.” Lazio squad to face Juventus: Marchetti, Berisha, Strakosha Basta, Braafheid, Cana, Ciani, Mauricio, Pereirinha, Felipe Anderson, Biglia, Candreva, Cataldi, Ederson, Ledesma, Lulic, Mauri, Onazi, Keita, Klose, Perea http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

Buffon: I’ll Play On For Juventus Until 40 Apr 18, 2015 With an agreement in place for Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto to head to reigning Serie A champions Juventus this summer, existing No.1 Gianluigi Buffon has reiterated his desire to play on for another three years. The 37-year-old joined the Turin club for a world record €51m from Parma in 2001, and sounds intent on remaining first-choice for the Bianconeri despite the Neto’s arrival. “I want to play on until I’m 40,” Buffon told giornalaccio rosa dello Sport. That admission from the Italian has seen some question whether a deal for the Viola stopper to arrive this summer could be under threat. The 25-year-old has his eye on become first-choice for his country and, should he be unable to displace Buffon, would surely need to reevaluate those aspirations.

Tevez Wants Pirlo To Join Him At Boca Juniors Apr 18, 2015 Carlos Tevez has made no secret of his desire to end his career at hometown club Boca Juniors, and the Juventus striker is also trying to convince teammate Andrea Pirlo to join him in Argentina. The 35-year-old has been fundamental to the Bianconeri’s three successive Serie A titles since arriving from AC Milan. According to Tuttosport Juventus will not throw money at a player clearly approaching the latter stages of his career, but are confident they can retain the veteran midfielder and keep him out of the clutches of the Buenos Aires giants. The 2006 World Cup winner has made 114 Serie A appearances for the Bianconeri and netted 14 goals, and looks set to secure the sixth Scudetto of his Serie A career this term.
