The 65th anniversary of the tragedy is three days away, with all 31 people aboard the flight killed as the Torino team returned home from a match against the Portuguese side in 1949. With Benfica in Turin for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final with Juventus, the club’s Vice-president Alcino Antonio and a group of other officials visited the memorial to the tragedy on Superga Hill.
