Season over for Juventus defender Bremer Juventus have been dealt a severe blow as their defensive stalwart Gleison Bremer is set for an extended period on the sidelines. The Brazilian center-back was forced to leave the field after just 5 minutes in the second Champions League match against RB Leipzig. Medical examinations conducted today have confirmed the worst fears: a rupture of the cruciate ligament and meniscus in his knee. The incident occurred in the 4th minute when Bremer challenged Openda as the Belgian striker was breaking towards Di Gregorio’s goal.
