Andrea Pirlo ready for 'emotional' AC Milan return in Berlusconi trophy Italy international heads back to his former club for the first time since leaving and he hopes to leave his mark on the game . Aug 21, 2011 Andrea Pirlo is ready to confront his old team-mates when Juventus meet AC Milan in Sunday's Trofeo Berlusconi. But, he is ready to challenge his former club after leaving them this summer following a decade of success. Pirlo returns to San Siro for the first time since departing the champions in June and while he is not afraid, emotions are likely to run high. "I will feel an emotion, but sooner or later it was likely that I would be playing against Milan," Pirlo told La Stampa. "It's best to get stuck in straight away." Pirlo built strong relations with some of the veterans at San Siro during his 10-year spell there but he has insisted that it will not cloud his judgement on the pitch. "Relations to not end just because you move away. I had to change as everyday was the same, and I wanted a fresh challenge," he concluded.

Aug 19, 2011 Inter will have their work cut out for them in the coming season as AC Milan are still the standard bearers in Serie A, according to Luciano Moggi. The former Juventus transfer director has predicted where the Milanese clubs will finish ahead of the new term. "I can say Milan are still the team to beat," Moggi wrote in his Tuttomercatoweb.com column. "From a quality point of view, Milan are in front of Inter. Gian Piero Gasperini's men need something more to reach Milan's level." Inter won the Trofeo TIM friendly tournament in Bari on Thursday night by beating Juve and Milan.

And Marotta said the plan is to bring in more reinforcements. "A minimum of two or three arrivals are expected," Marotta is quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.
