  1. Gianluigi Buffon Confirms He Will Be Staying At Juventus Gianluigi Buffon says he will be returning to the Juventus line-up in January, denying the rumours he will be moving away. Nov 30, 2010 Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has confirmed he will be returning to the Bianconeri line-up, dismissing the rumours linking him with a move away from the side. Buffon would like to return prior to Christmas, but knows he still needs time to train and improve. "I am back in training and things are going very well," the shot-stopper told SkySport24. "We are ahead of schedule by a week or so, which is good. "I think I will be back in January, but whether it is at the start or end, I am uncertain. It will depend on my condition, as it takes time. "I will remain at Juve. I think the kind words by [sporting director Giuseppe] Marotta show how highly he regards me. "I am also certain that we have the ability to play to win the Scudetto. It is an objective of the club, coach and the players want to reach," he concluded.
  2. Giuseppe Marotta: Buffon & Aquilani Are Staying & We Can Push For Scudetto Gianluigi Buffon & Alberto Aquilani are staying at Scudetto contenders Juventus, claims Giuseppe Marotta... Nov 29, 2010 Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has nailed his Scudetto manifesto on the club door, and painted the future of Gianluigi Buffon and Alberto Aquilani on walls at Vinovo. "The table speaks clearly and we will fight for it. We know that other teams are not at full speed," he told La Domenica Sportiva. "Juventus made radical chancges and 12 players arrived here. "Compared to Inter and Milan, we didn't just change coach." Buffon has been linked with an exit, but Marotta's view is in stark contrast though. "Buffon will remain for sure even though anything can happen in football. He is a symbol of Juventus," added Marotta. And there are plans to keep Aquilani at the club by signing him permanently from Liverpool once the 26-year-old's loan deal expires in the summer. "We can exercise the right to buy and there are many reasons to consider him a Juventus player for the future," he concluded.
  3. Juventus Offer Claudio Marchisio Lifetime Renewal Claudio Marchisio is in line for bumper extension package from Juventus... Nov 29, 2010 Juventus are looking to make Claudio Marchisio part of the admiralty and give him a stepping stone to the captaincy by offering him a renewal for life. The Bianconeri are ready to fix their long term vision for the squad on Marchisio, seen as a leader and possible future captain. Tuttosport claims the club are planning to offer 24-year-old Marchisio an expanding parameter and keep him on board for the long haul. His current deal expires in 2014, but there are designs on adding a longer extension on that, improving his deal in the process. Giorgio Chiellini was given a 2015 deal last week, and Marchisio will follow. And he could be future captain - a place he may scrap for with Chiellini. "Del Piero is the captain, but I think of Marchisio for the future. He is important and I like his temperament," said coach Luigi Del Neri.
