Marotta a Moratti: "Il viso disteso è normale se non ci sono grandi tensioni" Il direttore generale della Juventus si è poi complimentato con Zamparini per l'affare Pastore realizzato due stagioni fa. 23/set/2010 Nel prepartita di Juventus-Palermo, il direttore generale dei bianconeri, Beppe Marotta, ha voluto rispondere personalmente al patron dell’Inter Massimo Moratti, che aveva detto di aver visto Agnelli e Abete con il volto particolarmente disteso dopo l’incontro in Federcalcio. “Mi sembra giusto che ci sia un viso disteso quando non ci sono tensioni come potrebbe essere per la gara di stasera, - ha affermato Marotta – per il resto, la visita in Federcalcio è stata una visita di cortesia, il Presidente Agnelli si è già espresso esplicitamente sui motivi, quindi non mi dilungo più di tanto. Credo che la dichiarazione di Moratti sia stata fatta con un pizzico di ironia. Mi pare che in seguito abbia corretto un po’ il tiro, ma sono quelle schermaglie dialettiche che così corrette fanno anche bene al mondo del calcio”. Marotta ha poi commentato il difficile avvio di campionato per le grandi squadre. “Credo che nel corso del campionato i valori verranno fuori e la classifica assumerà una graduatoria che rispecchierà questi valori, – ha detto il dirigente bianconero – negli ultimi anni abbiamo assistito a queste squadre provinciali che giocano un calcio sbarazzino, senza grandi apprensioni di classifica, che riescono anche a mettere in difficoltà le grandi, che magari non riescono ad avere ancora uno spirito di gruppo vincente”. Le ultime parole sono state per l’avversario di giornata Javier Pastore. “Pastore non si scopriva sicuramente quest’estate, – ha concluso il direttore generale della Juventus – è un giocatore che ha fatto molto bene anche l’anno scorso, è un talento naturale e mi meraviglio che due anni fa le grandi squadre non l’abbiano preso. È stato molto bravo Zamparini, con le sue intuizioni, con i suoi collaboratori, ad accaparrarsi i diritti”.

SUBITO PASTORE - La Juventus ripropone la formazione del Friuli, mentre il Palermo scende in campo con due novità: Bacinovic in regia al posto di Liverani e soprattutto Pinilla come riferimento offensivo, con Hernandez che si siede in panchina. Dopo due minuti, però, in tatticismi non contano già più: conta la tecnica, quella che possiede Javier Pastore, che scarica in rete con un destro di prima intenzione dopo la respinta di Storari sulla conclusione a botta sicura dello stesso Pinilla. JUVENTUS IMBALLATA - Colpita a freddo, la Juve fatica poi a riorganizzarsi, con il solo Krasic che si fa notare per qualche tentativo a destra, mentre Del Piero va a fiammate. Terms of engagement in fighting for the Scudetto have proven unequal to expectation thus far. Agnelli though sees no reason to panic. "Juventus are going through a difficult moment. The team has to work. But this is what I expected," he told Tuttosport. "We needed time for the project to work, maybe a month. There are still mistakes from the younger players, but a young team cannot be experts. "However, the quality is not under question. Our team can beat anyone." Sep 22, 2010 Juventus president Andrea Agnelli is continuing in his quest to have the Calciopoli-revoked Scudetti handed back. Tuttosport claims Agnelli has had words with FIGC president Giancarlo Abete, who is heading up an investigation into the 171,000 wiretaps that have emerged from the on-going 'Calciopoli 2' trial at the tribunal of Naples. There Luciano Moggi and his legal team have been proving, to an extent, that a number of Serie A clubs had contacts with referees and designators between 2004 and 2006 - when Calciopoli erupted. As part of investigations four years ago, Juventus were revoked of two Scudetti and sent to Serie B. But Agnelli remains hopeful he can fight legally to have those Scudetti handed back. His hopes rest on the independent enquiry from the FIGC. As things stand, the Italian FA have acquired substantial evidence from the tribunal of Naples and they are confident of having the wire taps transcribed before probing further.

Sep 22, 2010 Gianluigi Buffon has turned his nose up at arrested former referee Byron Moreno after he was allegedly caught in possession of six kilograms of heroin by New York police. Buffon was in goal when Moreno caused shock and scandal at World Cup 2002 as Italy lost to co-hosts South Korea. It was a long line of errors by the Ecuadorian ex-referee which led to one of the World Cup's biggest shocks in history as the Azzurri felt cheated by his whistle. And Buffon has been the first to react to Moreno's arrest. "Six kilos of drugs? I believe Moreno had this already in 2002, but not in his underwear, in his body," Buffon is quoted as saying on Eco Dello Sport. "Apart from the jokes, when people in sport enter the world of drugs it means that we risk scraping the bottom of the barrel as sport loses its values." Christian Panucci, who also played in that game, went in sword and fist as he slammed Moreno. "He was a disaster then and he has proved it now," he told Sky Sport Italia. "He was put in place to eliminate Italy. He is a bandit, he is not a serious person. Someone found to be in possession of drugs means he was not professional. "Look at the images, he was too fat to referee. The game ended for us after an hour back then. We felt we might as well had gone home there and then."
