Andrea Agnelli: Juventus Will Get Their Revoked Serie A Titles Back Agnelli confident Juventus will find a way of getting their stripped scudetti back... Aug 28, 2010 Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has confirmed the club will not give up their efforts in having the two Calciopoli-revoked Italian league titles handed back. Back in May Juventus announced they would be seeking legal avenues to find a way of appealing to have the two Scudetti that were revoked from them restored. That move followed the on-going Calciopoli2 investigations in the Tribual of Naples in which Luciano Moggi and his legal team have been trying to prove that a number of clubs were in regular contact with referees. The Italian FA (FIGC) promised they would launch their own investigation after it emerged that over 171,000 phonecalls involving a number of clubs, directors and referees had come to light, but were never used in the original Calciopoli investigation in 2006 when the Old Lady were stripped of two titles. Tuttosport claim the FIGC has been having trouble in obtaining evidence from the court of Naples from which they will open their own enquiry, but Agnelli is ready to hand over a file of documents on Juve's behalf. "What we have presented is very detailed and is based on our founded judgement," he told Sky Sport Italia. "It's a precise exhibit on the revocation of one Scudetto. From this aspect we are not expecting a quick response, but we are confident of getting a positive outcome from what we are taking forwards. "It's a complex situation and we have to evaluate many legal issues, but we will show our correctness in cases which are still open. We will certainly evaluate revocatory action and the re-assignment of titles."

Juventus Respond To Claudio Marchisio Over Contract Extension Claims Bianconeri answer Marchisio's extension doubts... Aug 25, 2010 Juventus have moved quickly to difuse tension over Claudio Marchisio's antithetical stance in relation to a new deal. The midfielder had said he was "pessimistic" over signing a new deal with the club on his Facebook page following delays in talks. But Juventus are hopeful of patching up the cracks that have started to appear on the surface of the player's future. "In relation to Claudio Marchisio's comments published on Facebook in which the players expresses his pessimism at his current contractual situation, Juventus makes clear his contract expires in June 2014," reads a statement on the club's official website. "The club is in constant contact with the player's agent Carlo Pallavicino, who we have met over the last few weeks. "Marchisio is Juventus property and we have all the interest to find an agreement that suits the player and the club."

Nothing New Regarding A Renewal For Claudio Marchisio However, the Italian international's departure is unlikely according to his representative... Aug 24, 2010 The agent of Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio, Carlo Pallavicino, has commented on recent reports regarding the player's contract and the possibility of him joining Serie A rivals Inter. "Claudio Marchisio has a contract with Juventus until 2014," he explained to fcinter1908.it. "Leaving Turin? Unless Juve decide to sell him then he will remain." The former Empoli man is eager to negotiate a new deal, which is why reports of a potential exit have surfaced. He reportedly earns less than the majority of the first team players, but being considered a key part of the team and it's future by coach Luigi Del Neri, he is now seeking an improved contract. "He stands his ground, but there is no news on the renewal of his contract," he concluded. The 24-year-old made 35 appearances for the club in all competitions last year and took part in his first major tournament at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. New Italy boss Cesare Prandelli also included him in his initial list of call-ups.

Giuseppe Marotta: The Transfer Market Has Not Yet Closed Juventus director is hinting at more arrivals Aug 22, 2010 Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta insists that the Bianconeri's transfer market spending for this summer may not have ended. Having already brought in Milos Krasic, Davide Lanzafame, Leonardo Bonucci, Jorge Martinez, Simone Pepe, Marco Motta and Marco Storari so far, the director says he will be seeking another defender and midfielder. "We still need another player, and we hope to sign him in the last days of the transfer season," Marotta revealed to Eurosport. "We are still looking for a defender and a midfielder. "As for Aquilani? We cannot speak about anything official as of yet, even if the transfer will be completed in the next few days." Marotta also explained the saga surrounding playmaker Diego, and whether the Brazilian is set to leave the Bianconeri. "No request has arrived for him, and I do not believe he will leave," he said. "In any case, the transfer market closes August 31, and anything can happen. "We are very pleased with the work we have done so far," concluded Marotta.
