Massimiliano Allegri made four changes to Juve’s Xi from their 4-2 win over Zenit. Mattia Perin started in his third league fixture of the season while Leonardo Bonucci was benched for only the second time in 2021/22. Replacing him was Daniele Rugani. The other change for Juve was Adrien Rabiot replacing Federico Bernardeschi in left midfield. Juventus were eager to bag three points and looked to threaten the Fiorentina defense with Paulo Dybala trying to continue his good run of form. However, la Viola's backline was rigid enough to prevent them from being much of a threat. The Bianconeri were given a tough fight by the visitors, especially during the first half. Juve’s backline did a pretty good job to keep Dusan Vlahovic quiet for most of the game. Juventus started the second half strongly and had a good chance of going ahead through Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard did well to get the better of Milenkovic and take a shot on goal but his volley hit the side-netting. Fiorentina attacked a bit near the hour-mark but could not come up with anything that could trouble the Bianconeri defenders. Things went bad for Italiano’s side as Milenkovic was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Juventus tried hard to make the most out of the one-man advantage and kept attacking persistently with Federico Chiesa coming agonizingly close to scoring. The former Fiorentina man did well to get past his man before taking a shot that hit the underside of the bar. A few minutes later, Alvaro Morata found the net but his goal was ruled out for offside. Piú difficile che contro lo Zenit in champions: evidentemente in Italia le squadre schierate tatticamente meglio che all'estero, resistono alle velleitá di Madama con minori timori. Alla fine la risolve Juan Cuadrado nei minuti di recupero come il colombiano ha fatto altre volte in passato. L'uomo del destino decide una gara di pura sofferenza per i bianconeri con i viola pilotati da mister Italiano che azzeccano spesso le mosse giuste per imbrigliare gli avversari. La Juve deve rinunciare a Szczesny, a Chiellini e a Bonucci non al meglio. Giocano Perin; Danilo, De Ligt, Rugani, Alex Sandro; McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot; Chiesa, Morata e Dybala. Fra i viola spicca il centravanti Dusan Vlahovic, sogno di mercato bianconero. Nel primo tempo non si vede un tiro in porta per la Juve e non é la prima volta che succede. Si vedono le solite difficoltá di manovra e la mancanza di idee per scardinare una squadra organizzata come quella viola. Dal canto suo la Fiorentina, tranne che per un'occasione con Saponara, non fa molto neanche lei. Partita bloccata, risultato 0-0 giusto. La ripresa vede una Juve che tenta di sbloccare la partita: prima con Morata e poi con Rabiot. La Fiorentina sbatte contro il muro bianconero, mentre il centrale viola Milenkovic picchia che é un piacere ma al suo ennesimo fallaccio (stavolta su Chiesa) l'arbitro lo manda sotto la doccia. Morata sembra abbonato ai fuorigioco mentre Chiesa chiama al grande intervento Terracciano. In inferioritá numerica, mister Italiano cerca di riequilibrare la squadra per tentare di portare a casa un punto. Chiesa colpisce la traversa a campo aperto. Alla fine, quando tutti ci si stava abituando all'idea che la partita finisse sullo 0-0, spunta Juan Cuadrado, entrato al 78' al posto di un frastornato Rabiot. Il colombiano sfugge a Biraghi sull'estrema destra e piazza un fendente che lascia Terracciano di sasso. Il solito Cuadrado che ci ha spesso fatto vincere partite allo scadere si ripete anche stasera e si va alla sosta con un pó piú di entusiasmo. Classifica di Serie A
