TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Line-ups: Trabzonspor-Juventus Feb 27, 2014 Juventus won the first leg 2-0, but are taking no chances as they visit Trabzonspor in a fiery atmosphere. http://markting10.nl/ It kicks off at 21.05 CET with a place in the Europa League Round of 16 at stake. The last time Juve were in Turkey, they crashed out of the Champions League with a 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray, a game spread out over two days due to a snowstorm. There’s no snow this time, but there is heavy rain, so picking the right studs could be crucial. http://markting10.nl/ Paul Pogba is given the nod in midfield with Claudio Marchisio supporting a new front pairing of Daniel Osvaldo – who scored in the first leg – and Sebastian Giovinco. Arturo Vidal starts in midfield, as he is suspended for Sunday’s Serie A meeting with Milan. Trabzonspor are able to start Florent Malouda, who has only recently started training with his teammates due to muscular problems. http://markting10.nl/ Olcan Adin will have a particular point to prove, as he had the ball in the net during the first leg, but it was disallowed because the ball might’ve gone out of play in the build-up. Janko and Mierzejewski are surprise first choices for Trabzonspor. http://markting10.nl/ TRABZONSPOR: Onur Kivrak; Bosingwa, Mustafa Yumlu, Aykut Demir, Kadir Keles; Bourceanu; Ozer Hurmaci, Zokora; Olcan Adin, Mierzejewski, Malouda; Janko Trabzonspor bench: Zeki Ayvaz, Zeki Yavru, Caner Osmanpasa, Colman, Bourceanu, Emre Gural, Paulo Henrique JUVENTUS: Buffon; Caceres, Bonucci, Ogbonna; Isla, Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, Peluso; Osvaldo, Giovinco Juventus bench: Storari, Barzagli, Lichtsteiner, Pirlo, Padoin, Tevez, Llorente

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Trabzonspor-Juventus Betting Preview: Goals at both ends in a close game in Turkey Hami Mandirali's men were unfortunate not to find the net in the first leg, but Al Hain-Cole expects them to have more luck in an entertaining clash in front of their own fans. Feb 27, 2014 Trabzonspor have a mountain to climb when they welcome Juventus to the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium for the second leg of their Europa League last 32 clash, looking to overturn a 2-0 aggregate deficit. http://markting10.nl/ The Black Sea Storm recorded their first win of 2014 with a 2-1 victory over Kayserispor at the weekend and are available at 9/2 (5.50) with William Hill to follow that up by coming out on top this evening. Antonio Conte’s men claimed a 1-0 win over local rivals Torino in Sunday’s Derby della Mole and are 4/7 (1.57) favourites to emerge victorious once again here. The visitors have drawn their last three consecutive away ties in this competition, and you can get odds of 3/1 (4.00) on them playing out another stalemate this time out. http://markting10.nl/ Despite the defeat in Turin, new boss Hami Mandirali will have been encouraged by his team’s performance, as they more than matched the Italian champions for large parts of the game. Indeed, the Turkish side were unlucky not to grab a precious away goal after seeing Olcan Adin’s ‘equaliser’ ruled out due to the ball allegedly going out of play in the build-up, with the game finely poised at 1-0. The hosts will now have to push hard in attack in order to give themselves any chance and will be fairly confident of finding the net after scoring in all but two of their 18 matches on home soil this season, including 12 goals in their previous four in this competition. http://markting10.nl/ Considering La Vecchia Signora failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their three Champions League clashes on the road, including trips to Galatasaray and Copenhagen, and have conceded in each of their last six on the road in all competitions, odds of 8/11 (1.73) seem nailed on for both teams to score in this one. As well as recording three consecutive stalemates on their travels in the Europa League, Juventus have also drawn their last two away from home in Serie A, meaning those 18/5 (4.60) odds are well worth a pop on them seeing themselves through to the last 16 by finishing all square in Trabzon.

Juventus take Europa League seriously, insists Buffon The experienced Bianconeri goalkeeper is keen to go all the way in the Europa League in order to build confidence ahead of future European campaigns. Feb 27, 2014 Gianluigi Buffon has insisted that Juventus will do their utmost to go as far as possible in the Europa League and will take the competition seriously. AMAZONIAN The Serie A leaders somewhat disappointingly had to settle for a spot in the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group behind Real Madrid and Galatasaray. Juve have a two-goal lead heading into their second leg round-of-32 clash against Trabzonspor and Buffon has stressed that they will not take things lightly. "It’s a competition to be taken seriously, as there could be some significant successes enjoyed," Buffon stated at a press conference. AMAZONIAN "Going through to the next round and playing even more important games enables you to gain further confidence on the European scene. "It struck us to see the stadium full in the first leg against Trabzonspor and the atmosphere created by the fans. In the past that didn’t even happen in important Champions League games. AMAZONIAN "This message demonstrates that the Juventus fans and team know that time and humility is required if we want to return to the peak of Europe’s elite." The final of the Europa League is scheduled to take place at the Juventus Stadium on May 14.

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Europa League Preview: Juventus vs. Trabzonspor, Leg 2 — Turkey Day, Part Deux Feb 27, 2014 It's not often that a team from Italy like Juventus travels to Turkey twice within a two-month period of time in two separate European competitions for two completely different games. Then again, it's not often that one of the best teams in Europe is not playing in the Champions League this time of year. http://markting10.nl/ But Juventus find themselves traveling to Turkey in the final few days of February for the Europa League, not the other European tournament we all wish they were still taking part in. It's Part II of Juve's adventure to Turkey this season. The first time they were there — yeah, we won't talk about that. This second time, though, will be the difference between Juventus advancing to the next round of the Europa League or seeing another European competition come to a crashing, facepalm-worthy end. JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen #Conte: We'll aim to be the best team on the pitch tomorrow and secure our safe passage through to the next round. #TrabzonsporJuve http://markting10.nl/ Might the second trip to Turkey treat Juventus better than the first? We sure as hell hope so. Ninety or so minutes after the opening whistle blows on Thursday night, a spot in the Round of 16 will have been secured by somebody. Or, in the mind of a lot of people, Juventus advancing will mean the expected just becomes a reality. That's just what happens when you're one of the favorites to win the whole thing. And who doesn't want to have the final be a home game? I can think of a few people who wear black and white on a regular basis who wouldn't mind that. http://markting10.nl/ JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen #Buffon: The @EuropaLeague is a competition that we'll be taking seriously. Good results and progress enable us to gain confidence in Europe In that case, keep the wins coming, Gigi. http://markting10.nl/ GOOD NEWS For as frustrating and not-so-good parts of Juventus' first leg against Trabzonspor, they head to Turkey with a 2-0 lead on aggregate. It could have been a lot worse for the simple fact that Juve were walking on a tightrope for almost the entire second half in Turin last week. But the end result was an important one — Juventus 2, Trabzonspor 0. http://markting10.nl/ BAD NEWS Add Kwadwo Asamoah to the list of players who are injured. Juventus' starting left wingback, according to the Juventus website, has been ruled out "after reporting muscular fatigue in the posterior area of his right thigh at the conclusion of yesterday's training session." Then again, he probably wasn't going to play tomorrow night anyways, but still. He will rest for a couple days and then have his condition be monitored — which basically means his status for the Milan clash on Sunday is completely up in the air right now. http://markting10.nl/ WHAT TO WATCH FOR 1. How much squad rotation will there be? Why do I ask? Because the way Antonio Conte went about things lineup-wise in the first leg, there's no reason to think it won't be the same seven days later. It's not expected to be the complete turnover like in the Coppa Italia, but it's close enough. It's not if there will be changes, but how many players from over the weekend won't be starting Thursday night. There will be turnover in Juve's starting lineup, and probably a good number of it, too. Conte keeps saying he has faith in his entire squad and that means we'll be seeing a good portion of it in the Europa League. 2. The rumored Dani Osvaldo and Sebastian Giovinco partnership — if it happens. In the first leg Osvaldo was paired with Carlos Tevez. Now it seems like he's getting teamed up with an even shorter striker. If indeed the reported Osvaldo-Giovinco tandem plays from the start tomorrow, it will be the first time that they've played alongside one another in a 3-5-2 formation. Giovinco, of course, came off the bench in the first leg as Conte switched to a 4-3-3 in the second half, but there's no reason to think he won't go back to his default formation tomorrow night. That means it's Giovinco and Osvaldo for the first time. And here's to hoping it delivers the goods. http://markting10.nl/ 3. How much Juventus' wingbacks contribute. In one word, the way Mauricio Isla and Federico Peluso played in the first leg can be described as this: Meh. Isla was the best of a rather average pair — and that's probably putting it lightly. There were more mistakes than positive impacts being made last Thursday by Peluso and Isla. And when you consider how well Asamoah and Stephan Lichtsteiner have played over the last month or two, having Peluso and Isla do not much of anything seems even that much worse. They don't need to be spectacular, really. They just need to get the job done. But sometimes, even that seems like it's as painful as pulling teeth. 4. Which center midfield will get a rest in anticipation of Sunday's clash with Milan? The interesting thing about the Europa League being around is that it screws with the schedule just as much as the Champions League did. But unlike when the Champions League is around, there's no the certainty that Juventus' best starting lineup will be fielded on a game-to-game basis. Arturo Vidal didn't play over the weekend due to suspension, so you'd think he doesn't need to be rested. That means it's either Paul Pogba or Andrea Pirlo who will make way for Claudio Marchisio in the starting lineup. Or maybe it's Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba through and through and I just wasted a bunch of time. http://markting10.nl/ 5. How Tranbzonspor begin the game. Because Trabzonspor came up empty, the Turkish side need goals in a hurry. That's no secret. And with no away goals coming back with them to Turkey, it's even more of the case entering tomorrow night's second leg. You would like to think that they will come out looking for an early goal to possibly get the home crowd really behind them and make things just that much more interesting. Here's to hoping that Juventus don't have any of their defensive miscues from the first leg. That'd be pretty unfortunate and bring a lot of unnecessary into all of our lives. JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen #Conte: It's important when you win 2-0 without conceding at home. But it's a slight advantage and we know they'll be pushed by 25,000 fans. http://markting10.nl/ My starting XI (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres; Isla, Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, Peluso; Osvaldo, Giovinco OFFICIAL KICKOFF TIME: 9:05 P.M. IN ITALY; 3:05 P.M. ON THE EAST COAST; 12:05 P.M. ON THE WEST COAST

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Europa Updates: More Turnover, Osvaldo-Giovinco Up Front Feb 27, 2014 With another punishing two-matches-in-four-days stretch starting on Thursday, Antonio Conte plans on using his available resources wisely this week. http://markting10.nl/ Giorgio Chiellini is close to returning to action, but it won’t be against Trabzonspor; Juve will keep him at home for the trip to Turkey to get him ready for the relatively more important match at Milan. Meanwhile, Andrea Barzagli, who returned to the lineup for the Turin Derby, is likely to be rested for the same reason, though he’ll be on the bench on Thursday. That means that the formerly “makeshift” defensive trio of Martin Caceres, Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna will once again shield Gigi Buffon. The top story in central midfield is that Arturo Vidal is suspended for the Milan match, having received his telltale yellow card against Torino. That has potentially huge implications for Milan, but the upshot is that he’s free to start against Trabzonspor. If Conte sticks to his usual patterns, one of Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio or Paul Pogba will be rested on Thursday — thankfully, reports from Sky Sport Italia are indicating that it will be Pirlo. Not only does the slower pace of Serie A suit Andrea infinitely better than that of European competition, but again, Milan is more important this week, and Claudio and Paul are younger and thus fresher. Plus, Milan are Pirlo’s former club, and he scored against them last time, so resting him on Thursday makes a lot of thematic/motivational sense. There’s also an outside chance that Simone Padoin could start in central midfield, but it is believed Conte is loath to shake things up that much. http://markting10.nl/ The good news on the wings is that Stephan Lichtsteiner and Kwadwo Asamoah will be rested, which means Mauricio Isla and Federico Peluso will take their places on the respective right and left flanks. The bad news is twofold. First, Asamoah will not even make the squad list with what is listed as “fatigue,” and he might even be unavailable for Milan. Second, we all have seen that the drop-off in quality behind Lichtsteiner and Asamoah is considerable, especially on the offensive end. Fortunately, with a two-goal lead, Juve can afford to sit back a bit, provided they quickly score that precious and potentially fixture-killing away goal. The attack will feature the untested pairing of Dani Osvaldo and Sebastian Giovinco. Osvaldo scored in the first leg and was brought in precisely for moments like this, while poor Seba put in a good performance from the bench in that match and will hope to come away with a goal this time for his troubles. I’m thinking his success on Thursday will be in direct relation to how much he plays facing the goal. He simply is not a hold-up man (just having to type that sentence strikes me as completely ridiculous). A two-man attack doesn’t bode well for Seba’s prospects of facing goal, but hopefully Conte will make some in-match adjustments and let him do this thing. Mirko Vucinic is still in the recovery room for the next couple of weeks, which means that Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente will be Conte’s main options off the bench — but again, let’s hope at least one never features at all. Surely a look-in for the uncalled Fabio Quagliarella wouldn’t have been too much to ask, especially if Juve manage to score early and put the fixture to bed? http://markting10.nl/ Despite the travel (to a country with bad recent memories, no less) and Serie A to worry about, this match will only be trouble if Juve allow it to be. There’s no reason to make this interesting. Sure, we said that at the beginning of the Champions League group stage, and I can remember a recent Europa campaign that started with a tentative lead only to see a collapse in the second leg, but this is a different squad — certainly different from the Dark Days Before Conte, but different even to the one that learned their harsh European lesson in December. Let’s get this round over with — there’s a lot more fun to be had in the next one. ANDIAMO, RAGAZZI!!! http://markting10.nl/ Czech Ref for Trabzonspor, Part II The end of Juve’s two-leg Turkish adventure will be a mostly Czech affair, officiated by 36-year-old Pavel Kralovec. According to the Mothership, Pavel has three recent Champions League matches under his belt, though he has never presided over a Juventus fixture. http://markting10.nl/ Kralovec’s linesmen will be Martin Wilczek and Roman Slysko (of Slovakia). Ondrej Pelikan will be the fourth official and is also ready to shovel snow if need be. Still bitter over here… http://markting10.nl/ Conte & Buffon: Finishing the Job We all know how much Antonio Conte enjoys press conferences these days — so much so that he refuses Juventino participation in the traditional Serie A pre-match interview in protest of what he rightly sees as the Italian media’s unfair and hysterical treatment of all Juve-related matters. Evidently, Europa League pressers are a different animal—or else Conte is simply contractually obligated in a way he isn’t in Italy. Either way, Conte was on hand to fulfill his media duties on Wednesday ahead of the second leg with Trabzonspor (via Juventus.com). Conte’s key message to his squad? Finish the job, and don’t make things interesting: http://markting10.nl/ When you score two goals at home without conceding you definitely hold a slight advantage. But we know we’ll be up against a side boosted by 25,000 fans. “When teams come to Juventus Stadium they can feel the presence of our fans and that’s how it will be for us tomorrow. We’ll aim to be the best on the pitch and get through to the next round. It’s not the first time we’ll be playing in this type of situation, so we’re prepared and have plenty of respect for our opponents.” As he’s mentioned a few times since last Thursday, Conte will not allow Juventus to sit on the lead, but rather will push for a decisive away goal, forcing Trabzonspor into a virtual four-goal hole: We’ve come here to play our own game and certainly won’t be defending our advantage. It’s not part of our mentality. They’ve got great quality in forward areas, but we want to dictate the game, also because scoring a goal would more or less give you a downhill run towards qualification.” http://markting10.nl/ With Milan on Sunday and the Serie A threat of Roma to worry about, it would be easy for Conte and co. to see the Europa League in general and this round in particular as a necessary distraction. But Antonio insists that these matches are all part of an overarching plan to restore Juve’s European profile for next year and beyond: “We’re facing this competition with enthusiasm and every player in the squad will play his part along the way. Those who played in Turin did well but I’m convinced they can do even better. “These games enable us to enhance our international experience and we need to tackle them in the best possible way. So there will be plenty of changes, essential given the heavy fixture schedule.” http://markting10.nl/ Conte’s captain, Gigi Buffon, agreed with his manager on the importance of the tournament (via Juventus.com): “It’s a competition to be taken seriously, as there could be some significant successes enjoyed. Going through to the next round and playing even more important games enables you to gain further confidence on the European scene.” Gigi was quick to pay tribute to his counterpart, Trabzonspor’s keeper, Onur Kivrak, who impressed (re: frustrated) last Thursday, stopping Juve more often than not: “We’ve seen several Trabzonspor games, and he’s often turned in brilliant performances. He’s ruthless in coming off his line, good at setting his team off on the counter and also made two or three decent saves in Turin. He’s one of the side’s strengths, that’s for sure.” http://markting10.nl/ Finally, Buffon seemed genuinely humbled by the overwhelming turnout for the first leg at Juventus Stadium; perhaps he expected the tifosi to be less than enthusiastic at the prospect of a Europa League run. On the contrary, the now-customary Juventus Stadium atmosphere was in full effect, and the warm reception did not go unnoticed by the players: “It struck us to see the stadium full and the atmosphere created by the fans. In the past that didn’t even happen in important Champions Cup games. This message demonstrates that the Juventus fans and team, thanks to the mentality instilled by the manager, know that time and humility is required if we want to return to the peak of Europe’s elite. The fans’ message is clear: they’re with us and will remain so all the way throughout our journey.” http://markting10.nl/ You gotta hand it to both parties here: Fans and players alike seem very committed to the Europa League this season. And if Juve can continue to divert a bit of their focus from their primary concern (the Serie A table) for these midweek fixtures, they should be a firm favorite to lift the trophy in front of their home crowd. Let’s hope that all-in mentality continues with a solid, all-business takedown of Trabzonspor on Thursday night.

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Trabzonspor vs. Juventus Preview Feb 27, 2014 Juventus are in a strong position to progress in the Europa League. http://markting10.nl/ Already nine points clear at the top of Serie A, Antonio Conte's side look certain to win their third straight Scudetto, and can begin to take their foot off the gas and switch their attention to other matters. The Europa League final is being held at their Juventus Stadium this season, giving them added incentive to reach it. And with the option of changing players in a strong squad, as well as a two-goal advantage, Juve look a good bet to knock out Trabzonspor. http://markting10.nl/ That said, Italian football expert James Horncastle believes continued participation in the Europa League could lead to Juventus tiring and their form in Serie A or Europa dropping as a result: James Horncastle @JamesHorncastle @JulianDM11 @Adz77 EL scheduling is ridic. Juve play back to back vs Trabzon. CL teams get 3 wk break between legs. http://markting10.nl/ Preview Juve's failure to thrive in the Champions League this season was something of a surprise; they exited the competition at the group stage. After dominating the domestic game with ease, something which looks like it won't be stopping anytime soon, it was easy to predict Juventus focusing on Europe a bit more, but that didn't materialise. Now, though, they look to be one of the strongest sides, if not the strongest in the Europa League, and are one of four Italian sides in the competition alongside Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli. http://markting10.nl/ Meanwhile, Trabzonspor, who lay seventh in the Turkish Super Lig and 15 points behind league leaders Fenerbahce, should not present too much of a problem if their domestic form is anything to go by. As reported by Soccerway, Trabzonspor have not beaten a side from the Italian top flight since 1982. However, they are unbeaten in seven home games. Their squad includes some recognisable names though, with former Champions League winners Florent Malouda and Jose Bosingwa and also former Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora in their number. http://markting10.nl/ Prediction Juventus, even if they do make changes, will be confident they have enough to see out this victory and continue their European adventure. The depth of talent at Conte's disposal is breathtaking, with Gianluigi Buffon, Paul Pogba, Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal just some of the names in his star-studded squad. It is the prospect of changes, though, that gives Trabzonspor a slim chance. Juve face AC Milan in Serie A this weekend, and if they are distracted by that fixture then there could yet be a way back for Hami Mandirali's side.

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Antonio Conte: 'Trabzonspor trip won't be easy' Feb 27, 2014 Juventus head coach Antonio Conte has insisted that his side's trip to Turkey to take on Trabzonspor in the second leg of their Europa League last 32 clash will not be easy, despite the 2-0 lead they hold from last week's game. http://markting10.nl/ Conte said that it will be a different game entirely with the passionate home supporters behind their team, but he said that the players must keep faith with their ability. "Tonight will not be easy for us," he told Corriere dello Sport. "The 2-0 is a good result, especially because we did not concede a goal. http://markting10.nl/ "Now we have a small advantage over them but we know that we will face a team that will be spurred on by 25,000 fans. However, we are prepared to meet this challenge and succeed. We have sufficient experience to handle these fierce environments." On-loan striker Pablo Osvaldo scored his first goal for Juve in the home win.

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) TRABZONSPOR VS JUVENTUS EUROPA LEAGUE MATCH PREVIEW Feb 27, 2014 Juventus are confidently preparing for their game in Turkey against Trabzonspor, as they can afford to focus on continental competition following their strong position in Serie A. http://markting10.nl/ The Europa League Final is held at Juventus's Stadium in May, and is an occasion that the visiting side will be desperate not to miss, as a way to compensate for their disappointing showing in the Champions League group stages. With a two-goal advantage, coach Antonio Conte could opt to rotate a strong squad, and a single away goal will surely kill off the tie, with the Turkish challengers then needing four goals to proceed. One of four Italian sides in this year's competition, Juventus have rightly been installed as the favourites for the trophy. Trabzonspor were an outsiders' bet before the first leg and their odds would have lengthened even further now, a miracle is needed to carry them to glory. http://markting10.nl/ Managerless Trabzonspor lie a dismal seventh in the Turkish Super Lig, and have not beaten a Serie A side in over 30 years. Former Premier League players Florent Malouda, Jose Bosingwa and Didier Zokora are all enjoying their wage packets over in Trabzon, but their qualities have clearly not been effective this season. Slim hope comes in the way of a possible Juventus distraction. Juventus play resurgent AC Milan in the league at the weekend, but Juventus will hope to have this one secured by a convincing scoreline by 90 minutes. http://markting10.nl/ Possible Line-Ups: Trabzonspor: Kivrak; Demir, Bosingwa, Keles, Yumlu; Adin, Hurmaci, Colman, Mierzejewski; Bourceanu; Gural Juventus: Buffon; Bonucci, Ogbonna, Barzagli; Lichtsteiner, Marchisio, Pogba, Isla; Padoin; Osvaldo, Llorente Author's Prediction: Trabzonspor 1-3 Juventus

Deschamps pleased with Pogba Feb 27, 2014 France Coach Didier Deschamps says he is pleased with the development of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba under Antonio Conte. AMAZONIAN The 45-year-old also believes there is much more to come from the player ahead of this summer’s World Cup in Brazil. “He is young, with enormous potential,” Deschamps said at a Press conference ahead of his team’s friendly with Holland. “But to get the best out of him we need to handle him in different ways, as Conte does. AMAZONIAN “I haven’t spoken to Antonio about Paul, but I have watched his recent games, even those which have been less positive for him. Pogba has recently been linked with a big money move to Paris Saint Germain this summer. “Whether he be at Juventus or PSG, the important thing is that he’s at a big club and playing regularly,” commented Deschamps.

Llorente holds World Cup hope Feb 27, 2014 Fernando Llorente has revealed his ambition to face his Juventus teammates next week for Spain, and to make La Roja’s World Cup squad. http://markting10.nl/ The recently-turned 29-year-old has enjoyed improved form with the Bianconeri, since losing his regular spot under Vicente del Bosque after a difficult final season last term with Athletic Bilbao. With the world and double European champions set to name their squad to face Italy next week and with the World Cup in sight, Llorente’s goal return in Serie A has him with improved hopes of a return. “Spain have great strikers. It is going to be a long season, the goals scored will make a difference in Vicente del Bosque’s decision,” the forward has reflected this week to Marca. http://markting10.nl/ “The forwards for Spain are at a very high level, I will see if I can be there at Brazil. “I would love to be there for the friendly against Italy, because half the players in the Italy team are with me at Juventus and it would be interesting to compare myself against my teammates.” http://markting10.nl/ Jese Rodriguez is emerging as a late candidate to take a place in La Roja’s World Cup squad for his form at Real Madrid. “He is doing really well with Real Madrid…”

TRABZONSPOR - JUVENTUS February 27, 2014 - 9:05 PM Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadyumu — Trabzon Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic) Terim: Juve must focus on Europe Feb 27, 2014 Fatih Terim has warned Juventus that they need to switch their mentality for next season or else fall short in the Champions League once again. http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri are comfortable out in front in Serie A and on course for a third consecutive Scudetto, but are competing in the Europa League for the second half of this season after elimination at the group stage of UEFA’s premier competition. That elimination came at the benefit of Terim’s former side Galatasaray, and a result secured in a final group match between the two teams played over two days due to difficult weather. “I did not understand the protests of the Bianconeri. Juve had drawn with Galatasaray in Turin,” began Terim to the giornalaccio rosa dello Sport, before reflecting on why the Old Lady may have fallen short. http://markting10.nl/ “Juve in the Champions League are a different team, they lose value. The Bianconeri are in love with the idea of the Scudetto. In that they are different to Milan, who start every year with the goal of winning in Europe. “But, after winning a third title, next year Buffon and his teammates must put the Cup at the centre of their thoughts. “Only in this way can they win the Champions League. For the Champions League, you must give up something.” http://markting10.nl/ According to the former Fiorentina and Milan Coach, though, Juve remain a capable outfit. “Pirlo is calcio, Buffon is a goalkeeper who is the strongest in the world, Chiellini is my prototype of a defender, Tevez is a warrior and Vidal is a phenomenon. I like Vucinic, even though he has played little. “And this explains why Juve are strong. It means that Conte has available to him players of world value. http://markting10.nl/ “They say that Conte is not nice. But I appreciate winning coaches, not cute coaches. And Conte is a winner.” Antonio Conte’s side are in Turkey today for the second leg of their Europa League Round of 32 clash with Trabzonspor. “In the first leg it should have ended 1-1. With a two-goal advantage, Juve have progression in hand, but they need to be careful. http://markting10.nl/ “Trabzonspor will have a strong atmosphere, and if they get a goal early on then qualification will be in the balance.” Should Juve make it through, they could meet Fiorentina in the Last 16. “I want to be at the Artemio Franchi for the second leg. I’m looking at my calendar to see if I can come for a couple of days. http://markting10.nl/ “With a true Gomez, Fiorentina can move ahead. Montella is a very good Coach, he teaches a football that I like. “Fiorentina-Juve is a derby, and the strongest team does not always win. Sometimes the heart wins. Fiorentina with 40,000 fans at the Franchi, anything can happen.”
