Claudio Gentile warns Juventus against getting carried away Former Juventus defender Claudio Gentile has issued a cautionary note to the Bianconeri as they make significant strides in the Serie A title race. Juventus is currently performing well in their quest to become champions, and their recent victory over AC Milan underscores their potential to be a contender this season. ................. Gentile’s advice to the players is to avoid complacency and maintain their focus on taking one game at a time, ensuring that they do not get carried away by their promising progress in the title race. He said: “The growth of the defence is also important, as it has not conceded a goal in recent matches. “The victory at San Siro, against Milan, boosts morale and can push Allegri’s team further. But Juve must not make the mistake of feeling like they already have the Scudetto.” ................. Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/claudio-gentile-warns-juventus-against-getting-carried-away/

Vieri backs Moise Kean to hit top form after his first half against AC Milan Christian Vieri was notably impressed with Moise Kean’s performance in the first half as Juventus secured a victory over AC Milan during the weekend. Kean was given the opportunity to start the game, as both Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa were not fit enough for the fixture. .............. In the match against Milan, while he didn’t find the net, Kean showcased promising form. The Milanese side ultimately lost the game, but Kean’s performance left a positive impression on Vieri, who believes that with time, Kean will regain his scoring prowess. He said: “Kean doesn’t drive me crazy, but he played an excellent first half. If he is given confidence, I think he can do something important.” .............. Huijsen Preferred Juventus to Barcelona, Says Agent Alex Santisteban, the agent of Dean Huijsen, illustrated how his transfer to Juventus came to be two years ago. “Even Jordi Cruyff, when he was a Barcelona executive, had taken action personally to sign him. However, we picked the Bianconeri over Bayern Munich and the Blaugrana for two reasons. First of all, their clarity. They were impressive and surgical in describing the type of career he could have. They had a clear plan for him, step by step.” “Juventus had a project for Huijsen, and we fell in love instantly. Furthermore, he wanted to measure up with the Italian league, which is ideal for grooming a defender technically and tactically. It’s like a Master for center-backs, like Barcelona for box-to-box midfielders, or Real Madrid for a no.10. His role models are Giorgio Chiellini, Sergio Ramos, Virgil van Dijk, and Matthijs de Ligt.” .......... Read more -> https://cultofcalcio.com/huijsen-preferred-juventus-to-barcelona-says-agent/

Juventus mentality against AC Milan impresses Fabrizio Ravanelli Former Juventus striker Fabrizio Ravanelli has been thoroughly impressed with the mindset displayed by the current Juventus players in their recent match against AC Milan. Despite going into the game without several key players, including Nicolo Fagioli, Paul Pogba, Danilo, and Alex Sandro, and with Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic not fit to start, Juventus faced a challenging task against Milan. The match was expected to be a tough one, and their chances of winning appeared diminished due to the absence of these key players. However, Juventus managed to secure a 1-0 victory, a result that left Ravanelli impressed. .............. “I liked the Bianconeri against Milan above all for the mentality. The team is on track, they haven’t conceded a goal in four games, unlike at the beginning of the season.” He added: “There’s just a little bit missing in the finalization phase, but he still has room for improvement to be able to compete for the Scudetto.” .............. Beppe Bergomi backs Locatelli for his celebration against AC Milan Former Inter Milan player Beppe Bergomi has expressed support for Manuel Locatelli’s celebration after scoring the winning goal that helped Juventus defeat AC Milan over the weekend. Locatelli, who originally came through the Milan system and made his professional debut with the Rossoneri, later left the club to further his development at Sassuolo. Subsequently, he was signed by Juventus from Sassuolo, and he has been a key player in their lineup ever since. ............. “Locatelli? It’s right to celebrate because Juventus hadn’t won a direct clash against Milan for some time and this was a real direct clash. It’s a result very important for Juventus.”............. Journalist insists Juventus is back to being a top club Journalist Enzo Bucchioni is of the opinion that Juventus has returned to its status as a top Italian club following their recent victory over AC Milan in the league. Under the guidance of Max Allegri, the team is taking the season one game at a time, and the absence of European commitments has fueled the belief among many fans that they can secure the league title. ................. “They don’t have the cups, which have a huge impact on the energy level. It must be taken into account. Allegri has four extraordinary attackers in attack. Yesterday, Milan had no one out. Vlahovic and Chiesa are important weapons, the numbers show us an extraordinary defence. I don’t see why it can’t stay up front to take advantage of some slip-ups by the others. Juve is there, they’re back to being a cheerful team, in the hands of the coach. With this, no football.” ................. Giancarlo Padovan reveals why Juventus should not be thinking about the Scudetto While Juventus fans may be optimistic about their chances of winning the Italian Serie A this season, it appears that many others don’t share the same sentiment. Juventus is undeniably one of the top clubs in Serie A, and the fact that they are not participating in European competitions this season provides them with ample time for rest between games, potentially enhancing their domestic performance. Despite these factors, Max Allegri has consistently downplayed expectations even after significant victories. ........... However, journalist Giancarlo Padovan holds a contrary view, asserting that Juventus lacks the squad necessary to secure victory in Serie A. ........... “It’s not to be contrary or even obtuse (even if I fear be), but I remain convinced that, despite the victory at San Siro, Juventus are not equipped to win the scudetto. “First of all because they have an inadequate squad and, secondly, because they lost Pogba first (who never played ) and then Fagioli (who often played football, but not always). “Coincidentally, two elements from the objectively weakest sector of the Bianconeri. Can Allegri play the whole season with McKennie as a starter, despite not being considered suitable even to be a reserve? Can Miretti replace Fagioli? And will Locatelli be able to have a uniform performance without indulging in mediocre performances?” ........... Ambrosini explains key differences between Juventus and Inter Milan Juventus and Inter Milan are among the clubs vying for the Italian league title this season, setting the stage for an intense battle with their other rivals. Both Juventus and Inter possess some of the finest players in Italy, and they are expected to be strong contenders in the title race throughout the season. In the last transfer window, Juventus made minimal reinforcements to their squad, while Inter Milan made more significant improvements. .......... “The midfield is numerically not full, so if we look at the personnel, it is a step below compared to Inter, who are the best placed from this point of view. However, there are two factors in Juve’s favour, the wide margins for improvement of the players they have, and the absence from the cups, the weight of which will be seen over time.” .......... Beppe Bergomi praises Juventus defending without Danilo against AC Milan Inter Milan legend Beppe Bergomi has praised Juventus for their defensive performance in the match against AC Milan, even though they were without Danilo. The Brazilian defender is a crucial presence at the back for the club and his absence made the task of winning even more challenging for Juve. Despite Danilo’s absence, Juventus delivered an impressive performance, particularly in defense, securing a 1-0 victory in the match. This victory has allowed Juventus to maintain pace with the top teams in the league this season, and they are eager to clinch the championship at the end of the campaign. ........... “The Rossoneri paid for their absences, at the moment, those of Milan weigh more than those of Juventus. Danilo was missing today but in my opinion the Bianconeri did well in defence. For Juventus, a very important result.” ........... Massimiliano Allegri

Journalist slams Allegri for his approach against AC Milan In the match against AC Milan yesterday, Juventus brought in Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa as substitutes, with the expectation that both players would contribute to improving the score. ............. Interestingly, after their substitutions, the Bianconeri appeared to adopt a more defensive approach to the game. Instead of actively seeking to extend their lead, Allegri seemed more focused on preserving their one-goal advantage, which meant that Chiesa and Vlahovic had to contribute defensively as well. This did not go down well with Paolo De Paola, and the journalist said: “We need to be pragmatic, for Juve this is a very important victory because it allows the team to remain close to the top and It instils confidence. “Having said that, I think what Allegri did yesterday was a clown, you can’t put Chiesa and Vlahovic on the field and expect the team not to attack, with the two of them it’s clear that they’re looking to double their lead, this short-faced mentality must absolutely be changed , also because the Juventus squad is the highest paid in Serie A as is its coach, I would say that it would be reasonable to expect something better.”............. Huijsen’s father insists he wants to stay at Juventus amidst loan move suggestions Dean Huijsen made his debut for Juventus in their 1-0 victory against AC Milan, where he was called upon to help secure the win for the Old Lady. Huijsen has been a highly talked-about young talent within the Juventus youth ranks, with many praising his potential. There have been suggestions that Huijsen could be sent out on loan, with Frosinone emerging as a potential destination for the promising young player. Allegri lauds Dean Huijsen on his debut, compares him to Juventus legend In the final minutes of the San Siro showdown between Milan and Juventus, Max Allegri was visibly displeased with many things that his players were doing as portrayed by his furious reaction. ............ Nevertheless, Allegri was at least content with the debut of Dean Huijsen who replaced Federico Gatti at the end of the match. The 18-year-old has been a part of the first team since the start of the season, but finally made his senior Juventus in Sunday’s intense affair. Yet, the Dutchman appeared unfazed by all the pressure, showing composure and maturity beyond his years. ............ “Huijsen entered the game serene and calm, he never played complicated passes and never put his teammate in difficulty,” noted the 56-year-old in his post-match interview. “He reads the game like a great player. He does things like Ciro Ferrara.” “Gatti was booked, so I said maybe Leao would escape him on an occasion. And then, Huijsen came in and did really well. ............ “Dean worked with the tranquility and serenity of a thirty-year-old .” Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/allegri-lauds-dean-huijsen-on-his-debut-compares-him-to-juventus-legend/

Timothy Weah Post Win vs Milan: “I Know What My Father Did at San Siro” “For me it is an honor to play for this team. Clearly the one at San Siro is a match full of meaning for me and my family. It was a unique feeling, I thank everyone, who would have ever thought that a boy from New York could play at San Siro against Milan, wearing a Juventus shirt. My parents will be very happy with the victory.” “The important thing is to always be yourself, be sure of your qualities and play the game. These are the same pieces of advice that my mother also gives me. I know the history of San Siro well and what my father did here, which is why it was even more exciting. We prepare all week to experience matches like these. Massimiliano Allegri is a genius as are all the staff who work with him. All we have to do is execute by defending and attacking whenever we can.” Read more -> https://cultofcalcio.com/timothy-weah-post-milan-win-i-know-what-my-father-did-at-san-siro/

Fagioli’s therapist speaks: “Nicolò kind and polite, I told him about Paolo Rossi” While his Juventus teammates were celebrating a 1-0 win on the pitch, Nicolò Fagioli could only watch the action from the San Siro stands alongside his injured captain Danilo. ............. Professor Paolo Jarre is the psychotherapist who’s guiding Fagioli towards recovery, helping him overcome his personal demons. ............. “I have been following Nicolò for a month and a half. We see each other twice a week. “It’s the first time I’ve followed a high-profile footballer. I had expected a superficial, perhaps even arrogant person. Instead Nicolò, from the first session, seemed polite and kind. “And above all, he’s well aware of being in a bad situation and of putting his career in danger with betting. A flat tire, but not a puncture.” ............. “I told Nicolò about Paolo Rossi, who placed bets like him and committed a sporting offense. “Yet, after returning from a ban, he was able to win the World Cup. Therefore, the European Championships are in June and Fagioli’s ban would be over by then. ............. “I am optimistic. Locatelli, Weah and the most interesting stats from Milan vs Juventus On Sunday night, Juventus took full advantage of their numerical superiority to secure a 1-0 win over Milan away from home. The Bianconeri are now only two points behind league leaders Inter. The club’s official website provided us with the most interesting stats and facts registered in the San Siro affair. First, we begin with the man of the hour, Manuel Locatelli. The midfielder scored exactly seven years following his stunner against Gianluigi Buffon. Thus, he became the first player to score for both clubs in this fixture before reaching the age of 26. ............. Yesterday’s clean sheet was Juve’s fourth in a row. The Bianconeri now have the highest number of shutouts among Serie A clubs in 2023 (16). Only Barcelona have produced more clean sheets amongst Europe’s Top Five leagues this year. For the first time in the three-points-per-win era (beginning in 1994/95), four American players started a Serie A fixture. Weston McKennie and Timothy Weah were in Max Allegri’s starting formation, while Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah were on the opposite side. Speaking of Tim Weah, he played a Milan-Juventus encounter 23 years, 11 months and a day following his father George’s last participation in this fixture back in November 1999. This was the Liberian legend’s final appearance in a Serie A contest. Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/locatelli-weah-and-the-most-interesting-stats-from-milan-vs-juventus/

DUTCH WONDERKID DEAN HUIJSEN MAKES JUVENTUS FIRST TEAM DEBUT IN VICTORY OVER AC MILAN Juventus were victorious in their Serie A clash with AC Milan on Sunday evening. A 63rd minute strike from former Milan midfielder Manuel Locatelli sealed the 1-0 win for the visitors, moving them up to third place in the table. At 18 years old, Huijsen became the sixth Dutch player to play for Juventus. The youngster featured for 15 minutes, coming off the bench to replace Federico Gatti. Dean Huijsen has spent the last three seasons with Juventus’ youth academy. The centre-back has represented Netherlands U17’s 11 times, the U18’s four times and last month he captained the U19’s squad in their 2-0 victory over Italy.
