  1. Juventus latest on Douglas Luiz, Weah and Vlahovic departures Juventus continue to work on three major sales but each comes with its own unique obstacles to overcome. Douglas Luiz, Timothy Weah and Dusan Vlahovic are all in talks to leave the club and have been considered dispensable by the Bianconeri leadership. Luiz has interest from the Premier League, Weah is stuck between Juventus and Marseille and Vlahovic is in danger of being left on the fringes of the squad if he does not secure a departure. ............ A whole host of Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for Douglas Luiz. We covered reports this morning that claimed the Brazilian’s agents are set to meet in a crucial meeting with Juventus, as Everton, West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United have all been mentioned as potential suitors. ............ Reports last week suggested that the current stumbling block for Weah was the difference between the Bianconeri’s demands and what Marseille were prepared to offer. Juventus are standing firm on their demands of €20 million for the American forward, whilst Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille are only prepared to pay €15 million at a maximum. ............ Dusan Vlahovic has been placed up for sale for Juventus. After signing for the Bianconeri in January 2022, for €70 million plus €10 million in bonuses, the Serbian forward has failed to truly dazzle in Turin. Milan have emerged as favourites to sign the player and last week reports claimed the player’s agent was set to meet with Juventus and the Rossoneri in key talks. ............ . 2. Douglas Luiz apologised to Juventus for unacceptable absence Douglas Luiz reportedly apologised to Juventus, coach Igor Tudor, and his teammates, so was welcomed back to training after going AWOL last week. The midfielder had been fined and put on the transfer market following his surprising decision not to turn up to pre-season tests as scheduled last Thursday. ............ Douglas Luiz arrived in Turin this morning with his agents for a crisis meeting with Juventus directors. The result of this encounter was the player apologising to everyone involved. That includes the Juventus chiefs, coach Tudor and his teammates, before being allowed to return to full training. ............ . 4. Juventus can offer Arthur to Sporting in move for Morten Hjulmand Serie A giants Juventus have been keeping a close eye on Sporting’s Morten Hjulmand and can now offer Arthur in a move for the midfielder. ............ The Bianconeri want to assess the situation of Hjulmand this week and understand Sporting’s asking price. The ex-Lecce player is keen on joining Juve and is convinced that a deal can be done for €40 million. This is giving the Old Lady hope and Damien Comolli should speak to the Portuguese club about Hjulmand soon. But Juve’s idea to seek a discount is by offering Arthur, who is also being looked at by Real Betis. Sporting will be offered a chance to sign the midfielder. ............ . 5. Juventus aren’t giving up on trying to sign Randal Kolo Muani just yet When it comes to negotiating for the services of Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain appear to be stuck in the same kind of circle they can’t get out of. We hear the teams are going to talk, those talks happen, and then we’re left at the same kind of impasse that we’ve been stuck at for over a month or so now — wondering if either side will budge when it comes to how they want the deal to be structured. So far, Kolo Muani is still very much somebody Juventus want to sign this summer. And, as far as we can tell, he has rejected all other approaches — mainly from the riches of the Premier League — because his top hope is to ensure that his stay at Juventus goes beyond the now-completed Club World Cup. ............ PSG, understandably, don’t want to see Kolo Muani — who has reported for preseason training with the European champions earlier this week — for a serious loss on the books after investing such a massive transfer fee in him two summers ago. That would mean an option or obligation to buy worked into the deal that is no less than €40 million. ............ At this point, there is no reason for Kolo Muani to stay in Paris. He doesn’t want to stay there and PSG manager Luis Enrique has made no desire to work him back into the squad after his initial loan spell with Juventus during the second half of the 2024-25 season. He’s still very much out of the project, and that is an opportunity that Juve and new general manager Damien Comolli are hoping to take advantage of this summer. ............ . 6. Weah’s agent slams ‘vengeful’ Juventus director who’s ‘creating problems’ The agent of Timothy Weah roasted an unnamed Juventus director, accusing him of causing a stir on the market. ............ In recent weeks, Juventus have been negotiating Weah’s sale to Olympique Marseille, and this time, the winger is in favour of the move. But while the Ligue 1 giants are reportedly willing to pay €15 million (the same transfer fee that Juventus had accepted from Forest), the Bianconeri have raised their asking price to €20 million, with some reports claiming that this is due to Marseille refusing to sell them Leonardo Balerdi. Therefore, Weah’s agent, Badou Sambague, slammed one particular Juventus director, blaming him for causing havoc with his vengeful ways. “Juventus is a fantastic club. The sporting department is run by three people. Two have class, and another is still finding his feet, so we can’t blame him,” said the agent. “Two are looking for solutions, and one is creating problems. And we can’t allow that. Tim Weah, always a professional, was left out during the World Cup. This person ruined his World Cup campaign, trying to force him to go where he wanted. “Today, out of revenge, he’s demanding a fortune and waiting for an offer from the Premier League that will never arrive, one that we will never approve. These are antiquated methods that I can’t stomach. “I’m not used to speaking out, but not doing so today would be tantamount to accepting an unacceptable and total lack of respect. Class can’t be bought for a manager, that’s for sure, but it’s always been part of Juventus’ history. One person is undermining it. Let’s see.” ............ . 7. Nonostante gli acquisti fatti dalla Roma, Gasperini si é lamentato per la lentezza del mercato giallorosso. Che dovrebbe dire Tudor allora?
  8. “Never good” – Pjanic tells Vlahovic to avoid a scenario by all means necessary Former Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic warns Dusan Vlahovic about an unpleasant fate he must avoid by making the right decision this summer. ............ Some believe that the Serbian bomber would be happy to remain in Turin and see out his contract while collecting his big paycheck. Nevertheless, Pjanic urges Vlahovic to avoid this scenario, as spending a year on the sidelines would be too damaging for his career. “Dusan is no longer a young player, as he has a certain amount of experience,” said the former Roma, Juventus and Barcelona midfielder in his interview. “These are personal choices, certainly not easy situations to deal with, but they are part of football. Vlahovic needs to regain his composure and score goals, something he has often done. “But more importantly, he needs to play. I respect him and consider him a friend. So I should tell him that losing a year is never a good thing.” ............ Nevertheless, the 35-year-old admitted that leaving Juventus is always difficult. “I know what it’s like at Juventus. So it’s hard to find a better place.” Pjanic donned the black-and-white shirt between 2016 and 2020. He ended up joining Barcelona on a swap deal that saw Arthur Melo heading in the opposite direction. ............ . Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/pjanic-vlahovic-juventus-avoid-scenario/
  9. Juventus devise clever plan to beat Inter Milan for Serie A wonderkid Juventus are plotting a creative strategy to overtake Inter in the race to sign Parma Youngster Giovanni Leoni. The 18-year-old has been on the Bianconeri’s shortlist since the 2023/24 campaign when he made his breakthrough at Sampdoria in Serie B. ............ At the start of the summer, Inter emerged as Leoni’s staunchest suitors, trying to reunite Cristian Chivu with his Parma pupil. ............ The Old Lady is looking to convince Parma with a clever proposal. While Inter are aiming to bring the Italian teenager to Appiano Gentile this summer, Juventus are willing to let him linger at Parma for another year in return for a slight discount on his current €40 million price tag. In other words, the Bianconeri would buy Leoni this summer for a figure in the region of €35 million and allow him to further develop his game with the Crociati, before arriving in Turin in the summer of 2026. ............ . 10. Juventus reach agreement in principle with top midfield target Juventus have reportedly agreed on personal terms with the entourage of Sporting CP captain Morten Hjulmand. ............ In recent weeks, Hjulmand has emerged as the Old Lady’s preferred target. The club’s General Director Damien Comolli has identified him as the ideal candidate for the role, thanks to his well-rounded game, and Serie A experience, dating back to his time at Lecce. ............ The Turin-based giants have been negotiating a deal with Hjulmand’s agents, and the two parties have been able to reach an agreement in principle. The Dane now has a five-year deal awaiting him at Continassa, with a net salary of €3.2 million. Nevertheless, the main hurdle blocking the transfer is an accord between the two clubs. After all, Sporting consider Hjulmand an elemental part of their plans, and have no desire to deprive themselves of the skipper’s services. It has been previously reported that the Lisbon-based giants would only sell the 26-year-old for the full value of his release clause (€80 million), but several sources are now claiming that the club is willing to negotiate a more sensible figure, and they could even drop their asking price to €40 million, a sum that Juventus would be happy to meet. ............ . 11. Boost for Juventus as long-time injured player is finally ready to return Juventus have received delightful news from the infirmary, as Juan Cabal is reportedly ready and raring to go. ............ Cabal’s devastating incident occurred just over a month following Gleison Bremer’s similar injury. Hence, both defenders ended up spending the vast majority of the 2024/25 campaign on the sidelines. But as reported in recent weeks, the Brazilian centre-back is on the cusp of making his greatly anticipated return to the pitch, while his Colombian teammate isn’t too far behind. Cabal has already rejoined his Juventus teammate in group training on the first days of pre-season. ............ Cabal’s return would be a major boost for Igor Tudor, as he’s capable of occupying two roles in his 3-4-2-1 tactical system. The former Verona man can either play as left wingback, or a left centreback. On the left flank, the Croatian boss is expected to rely on Andrea Cambiaso as his first-choice wingback, while Filip Kostic could end up lingering in Turin to add some depth to the squad. ............ . 12. Mourinho offers a Fenerbahce star in exchange for Douglas Luiz Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly hellbent on signing Douglas Luiz that he’s willing to offer Juventus the services of Sofyan Amrabat. ............ Luiz’s most likely destination remains the Premier League. However, Mourinho is trying his best to lure the Brazil international to Istanbul. The Special One will also try to tempt the Bianconeri by offering Amrabat in an exchange deal. The Morocco international might not be a primary target for Juventus, but he has been mentioned as one of the names on the shortlist. The Serie A giants have identified Morten Hjulmand as their priority target to bolster the middle of the park, but they have also set their sights on some other more affordable options, including Amrabat. The 28-year-old has vast experience in Serie A, having represented Hellas Verona and Fiorentina between 2019 and 2023. ............ . 14. Striker turns down Man Utd as he holds out for Juventus move Paris Saint-Germain’s wantaway star Randal Kolo Muani has given his clear preference to Juventus despite interest from Manchester United. ............ Juventus have been negotiating a deal with PSG for several weeks, but have to find a definitive agreement. Nevertheless, Italian journalist Orazio Accomando expects the Bianconeri to keep pushing until they reach the finish line, while explaining how the formula will differ from last season’s dry loan. “Juventus are trying, because Kolo Muani has now become the number one target for the club in attack, having already secured the signing of Jonathan David,” insisted Accomando. “Juventus are trying everything they can to keep Kolo Muani in their squad, who, as we know, has begun pre-season training with Paris Saint-Germain. “Juventus could offer a new loan, but not a dry loan like last January’s, but with an option or obligation to buy.” ............ “There is already a basic agreement between Juventus and the player who is also pushing for the move. “From what we learned, he has said no to interest from Manchester United. At least at this stage, he wants to first understand if there is the possibility of returning to Juventus.” . Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/kolo-muani-turns-man-utd-holds-juventus/
  15. Juventus left concerned by new Man United stance on Jadon Sancho The latest statements made by Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim may have caused some concern at Juventus who are still keen to sign Jadon Sancho. ............ However, Amorim’s words in his press conference in New Jersey raised many eyebrows, including some in Turin. While it was initially thought that there was no way back for the four outcasts, the Portuguese boss insisted that he’d be happy to welcome them back to the fold if they could not find themselves new clubs. “Some players have to move to make space in the team, others want a new challenge. We are giving them time to think, and if they reach a point where they have to join the team, they will,” said the 40-year-old. ............ The message conveyed by Amorim left Juventus worried, as it suggests that Man Utd might not be as desperate to sell Sancho as initially thought. The Turin-based newspaper reveals that the Bianconeri’s offer of £15 million is only a few million below United’s asking price, while the 25-year-old has agreed to accept a significant pay cut from €10m to €6m to facilitate the transfer. ............ . 16. Juventus insist on key condition in negotiations with Marseille for Tim Weah Juventus and Olympique Marseille are still working on finding an agreement for the transfer of Timothy Weah. ............ While Weah and his entourage weren’t interested in joining the Premier League club Nottingham Forest, they have been much more enthusiastic about the opportunity to return to France through the gates of Marseille. After all, OM have been building an interesting project with Roberto De Zerbi in charge, and have managed to qualify for the Champions League. ............ However, the two clubs have yet to reach a definitive agreement, so Weah is currently training with his Juventus teammates at Continassa. The Ligue 1 giants are hoping to acquire the winger on loan with an option to buy, while the Bianconeri are refusing to let him leave on a deal that doesn’t include an obligation to buy. Moreover, other sources had claimed that Juventus are gunning for a transfer fee worth €20 million, while Marseille have only offered €15 million. So while the two clubs have made some progress in their talks, the agreement doesn’t seem to be as close as previously reported. ............ . 17. Juventus & Inter Milan battling it out for promising Italo-Nigerian youngster Juventus have reportedly set their sights on Venezia youngster Alvin Okoro, but they will have to overcome familiar competition from Inter. ............ The 20-year-old is an Italian striker with Nigerian origins. He was born in Vicenza and started his playing career in the academy of Pordenone, before signing for Venezia in the summer of 2022. ............ After cementing himself as one of the finest youngsters among the Lagunari’s ranks, he was given the opportunity to play with professionals while on loan with Serie C side, Vis Pesaro. The latter club was so impressed with Okoro that they were hoping to keep him on a permanent basis. However, Venezia insisted on bringing him back to the base. As the source reveals, Inter have made a concrete attempt to sign the young striker, while Juventus are proposing a loan with an option to buy, which could also transform into an obligation under certain conditions. ............ . 18. Fenerbahce director in Turin as Mourinho wants Juventus misfit Reports from Turkiye are claiming that Fenerbahce have entered the fray for Juventus rebel Douglas Luiz. ............ The midfielder’s controversial behaviour landed him in hot water, as Juventus will soon punish him with a fine. In the meantime, several Premier League clubs are looking to seize the opportunity and bring him back to the English shores one year following his departure from Aston Villa. ............ But there is an alternative destination, because Jose Mourinho has asked Fenerbahce to launch an onslaught for the Brazil international. ............ The Turkish giants will send their sporting director, Devin Özek, to Turin in the next few days to hold face-to-face talks with Juventus officials. The Bianconeri will be looking to collect a transfer fee worth €40 million to avoid registering capital losses, so it remains to be seen if Fenerbahce would be able to meet their expectations. . 19. Juventus set asking price for a defender who didn’t impress Tudor Juventus are already willing to give up on Lloyd Kelly who had made the move from Newcastle United six months ago. ............ Sensing Juve’s urgent need to add a centre-back to their ranks, Newcastle were able to dictate the terms of the agreement. The Magpies had only signed the 26-year-old on a free transfer in the previous summer, so they were able to register a swift windfall in the form of pure capital gains. Juventus ended up consenting to a loan with an obligation to buy that would be simply triggered by avoiding relegation to Serie B. Hence, the purchase was inevitably triggered, with Juventus paying a transfer fee of €17.5 which could rise to €20 million. ............ Due to the lack of options, Igor Tudor often relied on Kelly as a starter. However, the Croatian manager hasn’t been too impressed by the defender. ............ The Bianconeri have set their asking price at €18-20 million. The defender’s most likely suitors reside in the Premier League, so it remains to be seen if a swift homecoming will be on the cards. . 20. Juventus reject Chelsea’s bid to try and lure Kenan Yildiz to England When rumors first started a few weeks ago that Juventus were preparing yet another contract extension (and raise) for Kenan Yildiz, one of the biggest reasons was to try and prevent the young No. 10 from being tempted by the riches of the Premier League. While that contract extension has yet to be signed, here is an example as to why. Juventus have rebuffed Chelsea’s latest attempt to sign every young attacking talent in the world after the Club World Cup champs offered up a whole lot of money to try and bring Yildiz to London. They say that it was “at least €65-€68 million” — which, considering Yildiz was signed for very little as a teenager from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022, would be a massive profit for the biggest asset Juventus currently has on its roster. ............ If the rumors of another contract extension come to be true — and there’s no reason to think they won’t be considering how important Yildiz has become to Juve’s success over the last year and a half — then it will, in theory, mean they’re even more committed to Yildiz than they already are. Yildiz was earning around €300,000 when he signed his first contract extension upon his promotion to the senior team in 2023. That salary was bumped up to seven figures and around €1 million when he signed his new deal ahead of last season and his debut as Juventus’ new No. 10. This new contract extension that Juve are reportedly wanting to get done before the 2025-26 campaign kicks off next month would potentially see him get a salary as high as €4 million net. ............ . 21. Juventus awaiting answer from PSG after latest Kolo Muani talks Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain continue to discuss a new deal for Randal Kolo Muani who won over Igor Tudor’s support with his displays in recent months. ............ So despite signing Jonathan David on a free transfer, the Serie A giants are still determined to find a way to bring back the French striker to Turin. The feeling is certainly reciprocal, as Kolo Muani has expressed his desire to don the black-and-white jersey this season. However, his dream move hinges on an agreement between the two clubs, one that has yet to materialise. ............ The Bianconeri are hoping to have Kolo Muani on loan for another year, potentially with an option to buy. Therefore, they’re still waiting for a response from PSG in this regard. It should be noted that the reigning European champions have been seeking a formula that provides them with more guarantees, mainly a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. ............ . 22. Fulham transfer news: Sander Berge emerges as 'new name' for Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly identified Fulham midfielder Sander Berge as a potential transfer target. The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their midfield, with Douglas Luiz set to depart following a difficult season in Turin. ............ Juventus appear to view Sporting Lisbon's Morten Hjulmand as one of their top midfield targets, but they are also considering a number of alternative options. Juventus have earmarked Berge as a 'new name' in their search for midfield reinforcements. While Berge may be on Juventus's radar, the report stops short of providing any further details of the level of the transfer interest. ............ The Norway international was a regular fixture in the Fulham side last season, starting 26 of his 31 Premier League appearances. The Cottagers will ultimately be reluctant to part ways with a player who has established himself as a key member of Silva's squad. They are certainly under no pressure to listen to offers, given the fact that Berge is under contract until at least the summer of 2029. ............ . 23. Injury-prone Juventus star hurt himself in the ‘gym accident’ Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik can’t catch a break these days, as he has now injured himself while working in the gym on the first day of pre-season. The 31-year-old missed the entire 2024/25 campaign through injury. He has been on the sidelines since hurting his knee in June 2024. ............ After multiple surgeries, Milik is hoping to put his career back on track, but his spell of bad luck isn’t showing any signs of disappearing. According to the official Juventus website, Milik had an accident in the gym on the first day of pre-season, thus suffering a lacerated-concussion injury to the right anterior tibial region. The good news is that the striker will only miss seven days of action, at least based on the initial assessment made by the club’s medical staff. ............ There were some reports in previous months indicating that the club would be open to rescinding his contract. However, other sources believe that the Bianconeri would prefer to either sell him, albeit for a low transfer fee, or perhaps loan him out to another club where he can gradually regain his optimal physical condition in a less demanding environment. ............ . 24. Douglas Luiz snubs Everton and West Ham for big club dream Douglas Luiz has created a fresh hurdle in Juventus’ plans to sell him this summer, with reports from Italy claiming that the Brazilian only wants to sign for a top club – putting the likes of Everton and West Ham on the back-burner. The midfielder is not opposed to playing in the Premier League but only if it is for a top club; the Toffees, Hammers and even Nottingham Forest may therefore not be able to secure a move for the former Aston Villa player. ............ The reports suggest that the Old Lady want €40 million for the midfielder, after spending €50 million on the Brazilian just last summer. The club have reportedly received offers from Saudi Arabia but Luiz rejected these proposals, reaffirming his intention to remain playing for a top European club. . 25. West Ham & Nottingham Forest learn Juve’s asking price for Douglas Luiz Juventus have set their asking price for Douglas Luiz who appears to be on his way back to the Premier League. ............ The player suffered a torrid first season in Italian football, and was eventually dropped from Igor Tudor’s plans. Luiz didn’t take this decision lightly, so he refused to show up for the club’s pre-season on Thursday without official leave. This defiant stance won’t go unpunished, as Juventus plan to slap the player with a significant fine. ............ The 27-year-old cost the Bianconeri €50 million last summer (including the values of Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior who went in the opposite direction). Therefore, the player’s current book value is €40 million, so the club isn’t willing to go below this figure in order to avoid registering a capital loss. West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Everton are Luiz’s main suitors, while Manchester United could potentially enter the race at some stage. .
