  1. Inzaghi impunito perenne. Di nuovo fuori dall'area tecnica. Theo deve dribblarlo. Cose da pazzi. Cose da Italia.
  3. The Roma game will reveal more about Tudor than the Genoa match Igor Tudor’s first game as Juventus manager was against Genoa, and his team secured a satisfying victory, marking an easy introduction to the role. However, even Tudor would admit that he is unlikely to encounter a more straightforward game than that, with tougher challenges almost certainly lying ahead. ............ Tudor faces a difficult task in his pursuit of overtaking Bologna and leading the team back into the top four this season. Aware of the challenges, he will aim for consecutive wins, starting with a crucial match against Roma, who are just three points behind the Bianconeri. ............ Bologna, Juventus, AS Roma, Lazio, and Fiorentina are all in contention for fourth place, which adds extra significance to the clash between Juventus and Roma. While Genoa sits mid-table, neither in danger of relegation nor competing for European spots, Roma is determined to secure a return to the Champions League next season. ............ Roma will test Juventus in ways that Genoa did not, and Tudor will likely be aware of this. He will need to devise a different game plan to tackle a stronger opponent, but Juventus must also be prepared to adapt if Roma changes their approach. Claudio Ranieri is one of the most accomplished tacticians in Italian football, and this game is expected to be highly tactical. Tudor will face a challenge against an experienced manager if his strategy falters, but he has players capable of causing Roma all kinds of problems. . 5. Teotino gives his analysis of Juventus first match under Tudor Igor Tudor has made a positive start to his tenure as Juventus manager, with his team securing a victory against Genoa at the weekend. The win will undoubtedly provide him with confidence and allow him some breathing room to work on improving the squad over the coming weeks. ............ As such, Juventus’ victory, while welcome, is not necessarily a sign that all their issues have been resolved. The real test will come in the upcoming fixtures, particularly against tougher opposition, where Tudor’s tactical approach and squad management will be put under greater scrutiny. Juventus’ immediate focus will be on maintaining consistency and collecting as many points as possible in the coming weeks. The team must show clear signs of progress under Tudor, particularly in areas where they have struggled this season. ............ Assessing the team’s performance in Tudor’s debut match, Gianfranco Teotino provided his thoughts on the changes observed: “Some differences compared to the last few outings were seen, even if there were no substantial improvements. “In general, Juve suffered little, perhaps also thanks to the three-man defence, on the other hand, we saw a more difficult ball management and consequently less control of the game.” ............ The coming weeks will be crucial for Juventus as they look to refine their playing style and gain momentum under their new manager. Tudor has made a solid start, but tougher challenges lie ahead, and Juventus must continue working to become a more cohesive and competitive unit. . 6. Juventus draw up a list of four world-class attackers to sign Juventus’ attacking lineup could undergo a significant transformation at the end of the season, as the Bianconeri look to strengthen their squad and rebuild once again. The club have been in a state of transition, and further changes are expected in the coming months as they aim to reclaim their place among Europe’s elite. ............ Regardless of who is in charge next season, Juventus are expected to make major changes to their squad. The club are reportedly determined to reinforce multiple areas of the team, with the attack being a primary focus. Several high-profile players have already been linked with a move to Turin, and Juventus appear keen to secure top-level reinforcements. ............ The Bianconeri have identified four key attacking targets for the summer transfer window. The report claims that Juventus are interested in signing Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Mateo Retegui, and Jonathan David. All four players have been in excellent form, making them highly sought-after in the market. Juventus will face stiff competition for their signatures but are expected to push hard to bring in at least some of these targets. ............ . 7. Juventus monitor Conte’s uncertainty as Napoli line up potential replacements Antonio Conte’s future at Napoli seems far from certain, with Juventus closely monitoring his situation and reportedly ready to welcome him back if his frustration ultimately leads to an exit from the Stadio Diego Maradona. ............ Both Juventus and Milan are keeping a close eye on Conte’s relationship with Napoli, with the Bianconeri prepared to move swiftly if he signals his desire to leave. Juventus have just appointed Igor Tudor to replace Thiago Motta but have given the Croatian coach a short-term deal, keeping all options open for next summer. Conte’s potential availability to return to the Allianz Stadium would completely shift the scenario for his former club, which would reportedly be eager to bring him back, given his deep ties to the Bianconeri and familiarity with the club’s environment. ............ Meanwhile, Napoli are aware of the uncertainty surrounding their current manager’s future, which is why they are already evaluating possible replacements, with Allegri and Gian Piero Gasperini among Aurelio De Laurentiis’ preferred candidates to succeed Conte. . 9. Khephren Thuram reveals Juventus’ efforts to fight racism Juventus is one of the clubs that takes racism seriously, often signing players who have unfortunately been victims of it. The club has consistently worked towards combating racism, both by educating its supporters and by standing firmly against this issue that continues to tarnish the beautiful game, especially in Italy. Khephren Thuram, who has received unwavering support from Juventus fans, has spoken out about the challenges of racism, though some of their opponents have accused Juve fans of engaging in racist behaviour in the past. Juventus has always been swift to deny such accusations, consistently defending itself as a club that does not tolerate any form of racism. ............ Thuram has now addressed Juventus’ ongoing commitment to fighting racism and spoke about their efforts to tackle the issue, stating: “At Juventus, we often discuss the best way to fight racism. We need to find strong reactions and effective communication. We must oppose and report it. Staying silent and downplaying those who behave this way is useless. Every incident must be brought to light. These are unacceptable atrocities.” ............ . Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/khephren-thuram-reveals-juventus-efforts-to-fight-racism/

  11. Juventus confirm Federico Gatti suffered fracture – Estimated recovery time revealed Juventus defender Federico Gatti will be out for several weeks after suffering an injury against Genoa on Saturday. The Italian was in the starting lineup on Igor Tudor’s debut, forming up the three-man backline with Renato Veiga and Lloyd Kelly. However, his outing was cut short when he returned to cover for Veiga who allowed Andrea Pinamonti to escape him. Gatti got himself ahead of the Genoa striker who was heading goalwards, but he got himself kicked in the foot in the process. ............ “Federico Gatti, who left the field during the first half of Juventus-Genoa following an injury to his left leg, underwent diagnostic tests at the J|Medical this Monday morning,” reads the statement released on the club’s official website. “The tests revealed the presence of a compound fracture to the diaphysis of the fibula.” As usual, the official note didn’t provide an estimated period regarding the player’s recovery. However, the centre-back could be out for around 30 days. ............ . Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/juventus-confirm-federico-gatti-suffered-fracture-estimated-recovery-time-revealed/
  12. Two important Juventus stars still did not train with the team today Juventus are in urgent need of their injured players returning to full fitness as they prepare for a crucial Serie A clash against AS Roma. Igor Tudor, who secured a victory in his first match as Juventus manager against Genoa, will be eager to maintain that momentum. However, facing Roma presents a far tougher challenge, and he will want his strongest squad available. Two key Juventus players, Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Luiz, have been sidelined with injuries for several weeks. ............ Juventus have remained optimistic about their recovery, but their latest training sessions suggest a different reality. Cambiaso and Luiz were once again training alone in the most recent session, indicating they are still not ready to return to full team training. This development is a significant blow for Juventus, given how vital both players are to the team’s structure and tactical setup. With less than a week remaining before they face Roma, the club now face a race against time to determine whether either player can recover in time. ............ . Juventus will not want to rush them back prematurely, as doing so could risk aggravating their injuries. However, given the importance of the Roma fixture, they will be closely monitored in the coming days to assess whether they can be included in the squad. ............ . 13. Juventus want to avoid another Huijsen blunder as they take Man Utd target off the market Juventus have reportedly decided to keep Kenan Yildiz in Turin for next season, regardless of Champions League football. The Turkiye international is arguably the club’s biggest asset at the moment, with an estimated value just below 100 million euros. Therefore, there have been growing rumours claiming Juventus could sacrifice the 19-year-old, especially if they fail to secure a spot in next season’s edition of the Champions League. ............ Juventus have made up their mind about Yildiz, and they are determined to maintain his services beyond the current campaign, as they don’t want to regret offloading another young jewel after allowing Dean Huijsen to slip through their fingers by selling him to Bournemouth last summer. ............ The club’s majority owners could inject a capital increase worth 110 million euros in the coming months. This sum should be enough to counter the consequences of missing out on the Champions League, and thus relieve the pressure on the management to sell some of the club’s top stars. Moreover, the Serie A giants consider Yildiz to be the face of the new project, hence why they entrusted him with the iconic Number 10 jersey once donned by the likes of Michel Platini, Roberto Baggio and Alessandro Del Piero. ............ Yildiz produced a sensational goal against the Grifone which was worth all three points, so we can expect the new manager to continue to utilize him as an attacking midfielder with a license to roam all over the pitch. . 14. Kenan Yildiz secured another piece of history in Juventus’ win over Genoa Juventus starlet Kenan Yildiz entered the 2024-25 season with plenty of hope attached to his teenage shoulders. Not just because of his new jersey number that is the most-storied couple of digits in bianconero. Yildiz made a bit of history in Juventus’ opening Champions League fixture this season back in September, becoming the youngest Bianconeri player to score in the UCL, a record previously held by his idol, Alessandro Del Piero. He added his name to the record books in Juve’s Derby della Mole victory over Torino back before the November international break. On Saturday, he again made some history. With his stunning solo effort that proved to be the game-winning strike against Genoa at the Allianz Stadium, Yildiz equalled a mark another familiar name to Juventus fans within the last decade, Moise Kean. It was Yildiz’s seventh Serie A goal as a teenager, pulling him even with Kean for the most goals from a Juventus player before their 20th birthday during the league’s three-point era. And just like with his first-ever Champions League goal that gave him a little bit of bragging rights over the man who celebrates each goal like, Saturday’s strike now gives Yildiz one more goal in Serie A before turning 20 — which will happen on May 4 — than that same Del Piero fella who was the subject of multiple songs from the Juve ultras during the win. ............ Saturday’s goal was Yildiz’s fifth in Serie A and seven in all competitions this season. He’s certainly had his ups and downs in terms of both his overall form as well as the reported issues with now-former manager Thiago Motta over the last month or two before the Italo-Brazilian’s firing over the international break. One more goal and Yildiz will have officially doubled his total from all competitions last season when he scored four goals in 32 appearances, with all but 10 of those off the bench. ............ After Saturday’s win, Yildiz has played 2,853 minutes in all competitions this season. Last year, he played 1,096 minutes between Serie A and the Coppa Italia. Yildiz still has another month to add onto this total and break the tie he currently has with Kean in terms of goals scored in Serie A as a teenager with Juventus. His 20th birthday comes on a day in which fourth place could very well be on the line, when Juventus will face the team that is directly in front of them in the league table, Bologna, at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. . 15. “Juve is back” – Tacchinardi thrilled with Tudor debut, lauds ‘spectacular’ defender Former Juventus star Alessio Tacchinardi was delighted by the club’s first outing under the guidance of his former teammate Igor Tudor. ............ Tudor started on the right note, guiding the club towards a 1-0 win over Genoa in front of the crowds at the Allianz Stadium. ............ Tacchinardi wasn’t afraid to declare Juve’s ‘return’. “Juve is back! It was a very difficult, very complicated match. There was tension, the managerial change, a new formation, and Bologna who had won their match,” noted the retired midfielder. ............ “Genoa had put all the teams in difficulty. I liked what I saw from Juventus. It was a hard-working Juve, who got their hands dirty, a Juve that ran and fought, who helped each other every time there was a mistake. “Applause, thumbs up, all together fighting and battling together, until the last second.” ............ “I finally saw the vertical, fast and ferocious plays, a monstrous Yildiz, a crazy Thuram, I liked Locatelli a lot. Then my idol is Renato Veiga because he is spectacular. “But Igor, in a short time, has made an important impact. We will certainly have to grow, improve our physical condition because they went man-to-man to press from all parts of the pitch, and it is not easy if you are not in great physical condition. But well done, Igor! Great start.” . Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/juve-is-back-tacchinardi-thrilled-with-tudor-debut-lauds-renato-veiga/
  16. Curva greeting, touchline arguments & ‘assist’ to Yildiz – Reviewing Tudor’s lively debut While making his managerial bow, new Juventus boss Igor Tudor was at the centre of attention, and he certainly didn’t disappoint. ............ On Saturday, Tudor led Juventus for the first time as Genoa arrived in Turin with every intention of spoiling the 46-year-old homecoming. Nevertheless, the Grifone were unsuccessful, as the Bianconeri controlled the action from start to finish. ............ Tudor’s arrival was greeted by a ‘welcome’ banner from the Curva Sud ultras, who decided to cut short their protest and resume their full support to the team, as they didn’t wish to spoil the return of their old loyalist. ............ After saluting his supporters, the new manager looked both agitated and lively on the sidelines. In fact, the match official had to instruct him to stick to this technical area after surpassing the boundaries on several occasions, as he seemed eager to get as close to the action as possible. In fact, Tudor did indeed play an important part in the action. The coach instigated the play that led to Kenan Yildiz’s goal, as he rapidly picked up the ball on the sidelines and threw it to Teun Koopmeiners while instructing him to play a quick throwball, which certainly paid dividends. In the second half, the Juventus manager contested some dubious refereeing decisions, which earned him a booking. But in the end, he enthusiastically celebrated the win at the final whistle, rounding off a truly animated first appearance at the Allianz. . 17. “He was determined but…” – Tudor reveals one thing he didn’t like about Vlahovic New Juventus manager Igor Tudor might be a keen admirer of Dusan Vlahovic, but he was still irritated by one of his old habits. ............ The coach immediately entrusted the Serbia international with a starting spot on his Juventus managerial debut against Genoa. Tudor was seemingly hoping to see the striker reconcile with the goal, so he kept him on the pitch for the duration of the match. ............ “Dusan did well. He was determined. But I didn’t like that he talked too much with the referee,” noted the former Marseille and Lazio manager in his post-match press conference. “You just waste energy on this thing. He has to stay inside the box. The referee could have booked him on a few occasions. But I liked his performance. He went deep and seemed hungry to score.” It remains to be seen if Tudor will confirm Vlahovic as a starter over the next few fixtures or a chance to Kolo Muani. ............ . 18. Koopmeiners suggested for surprising new role following latest Juventus injury setback Juventus star Teun Koopmeiners has been operating as an attacking midfielder for years. However, a report in the Italian media considers him a possible option for a role at the back. ............ With Igor Tudor now in charge, the Netherlands international has the chance to play in a similar system to the one he thrived in during his Atalanta stint, even though his first appearance under the Croatian boss wasn’t by any means thrilling. But Koopmeiners could also be an option for three-man backline now that Federico Gatti has been ruled out of action. The Italian’s injury leaves Tudor with only three choices for the back-three (Kalulu, Veiga and Kelly), which is numerically insufficient. ............ Koopmeiners had already played as a defender during his time with AZ Alkmaar. This would certainly be a curious choice, as the Dutch star isn’t exactly known for his tackling ability. However, with his high work rate and ability to advance the play, he might be a solution for the sweeper role, although Renato Veiga excelled in this role against Genoa. . 19. What the initial tests revealed on Federico Gatti’s condition Juventus defender Federico Gatti was forced to leave the pitch in the first half against Genoa after picking up an injury. ............ The Croatian tactician Igor Tudor fielded Gatti on the right side of his three-man backline, with Renato Veiga operating at the heart of the defence and Lloyd Kelly to his left. But unfortunately for the Italy international, he committed the ultimate sacrifice for his team, as he got himself injured while covering for a teammate. Andrea Pinamonti was able to skip past Veiga following a clever flick. The Genoa bomber would have went straight towards Michele Di Gregorio’s goal if it wasn’t for Gatti who managed to beat him to the ball, which earned him a kick in the foot. The 26-year-old fell to the ground in agony and received treatment for several minutes before returning to the pitch. But in the end, he couldn’t shake off the pain, so he was forced to leave his place on the lineup to Pierre Kalulu late in the first half, but continued to support his teammates from the touchline. ............ The initial tests revealed that the former Frosinone man suffered a bruise in the left soleus. ............ This suggests that Juventus shouldn’t be deprived of Gatti’s services for too long. Nevertheless, the player is still expected to undergo clinical tests at the J|Medical Centre in the coming hours or days in order to receive a more precise diagnosis. ............ . 20. Juventus 1 - Genoa 0: Initial reaction and random observations Considering Igor Tudor had as many training sessions with his new Juventus squad as I have fingers on my right hand enter Saturday evening’s matchup against Genoa, it was hardly any sort of certainty what the Bianconeri would produce under their new manager. ............ A moment of Kenan Yildiz magic midway through the first half proved to be the difference on the scoreboard and Juventus captured a 1-0 win over Genoa at the Allianz Stadium in Tudor’s managerial debut. A team that looked completely listless in losses to Atalanta and Fiorentina by a combined 7-0 scoreline heading into the international break looked so much more organized despite having less than a week’s worth of training sessions with their new manager. And, most importantly, they showed the fight to keep a Genoa side that had collected nearly as many points since as Juventus since their late-November managerial change to next to nothing — and it resulted in that same Bianconeri squad that had so many holes defensively just a few weeks ago recording their first shutout since March 3. ............ With Bologna winning Saturday, Juventus just needed to keep pace. But with so much change happening at Juventus over the course of the last week, how they would come out in Tudor’s first game was the biggest question. The formation looked much like we thought it would, with Tudor rolling out his customary 3-4-2-1 and players that were both played out of position by Motta or simply out of favor with the now-former Juve manager better utilized by the former Bianconeri defender. Nico Gonzalez, was no longer on the left wing. Dusan Vlahovic was actually in the starting lineup. Kenan Yildiz was back on the left and playing behind Vlahovic. It just made more sense rather than thinking to yourself “Why is Motta doing this ... again?” ............ But you just had the feeling as Saturday’s proceedings played out that this Juventus team was just in a better place compared to the last time they played at the Allianz. For all of the things that we’re hoping Tudor can try and clean up, they limited Genoa to just 0.27 xG and Michele Di Gregorio wasn’t even forced into much of anything difficult in terms of saves he had to make. Five of Genoa’s nine shots on the day were from outside of the box, and when things were on target it’s not like they really challenged Di Gregorio — which, when you consider this is the first time Juve’s played a back three this season, is a pretty positive development regardless of how much this visitors have sometimes struggled to score goals this season. ............ RANDOM THOUGHTS AND OBSERVATIONS The lines of the coaching box on the Juventus sidelines mean absolutely nothing to Igor Tudor. It felt like almost every time he showed up at the bottom of a camera shot — especially as the second half went on — Tudor was routinely nowhere close to the edge of the box, even sometimes on the field. It made me laugh. ............ Tactically, there were some cool things to see from Tudor against Genoa. Like we figured, in attack it was 3-4-2-1 and in defense it was basically 5-3-2. The twist on it was sometimes how high Teun Koopmeiners was playing next to Vlahovic. Sure, Koopmeiners didn’t have a great game, but you can clearly see that Tudor is trying things in attempt to get the Dutchman going again. We’ll see how that goes over the next few weeks. Seeing Gonzalez come alive as a wingback on the right wing was not exactly something I had on my bingo card entering this one. ............ The Juve player with the third-most amount of touches? Mr. Kenan Yildiz with 70. I can definitely support that as we go forward here under Tudor. More of that, please. ............ Vlahovic attempted 10 passes against Genoa. He completed five of them. That ain’t great. Francisco Conceição also attempted 10 passes. He completed seven of them. Conceição came on with 25 minutes to go. I have no idea how Khephren Thuram had enough energy left in his body to make that kind of run in the 92nd minute and not absolutely pass out afterward. Maybe he was inspired by his dad’s outfit. Who knows really. ............ In closing, I just wanna let Igor know that it’s nice to see him back in Turin and I hope this goes well. No matter how you win, I just hope you keep winning. That would be nice. Read more -> https://www.blackwhitereadallover.com/2025/3/29/24396626/juventus-genoa-2025-serie-matchday-30-final-score-result-initial-reaction-random-observations
