Time after time, he was let down by his porous defence. José Bosingwa - The former Chelsea man looked disinterested and failed to track the run of the Juventus forwards. Mustafa Yumlu - The centre-back will still have images of Giovinco running round in his head although he did salvage some of his integrity with a number of last-ditch blocks. Aykut Demir - Won a number of crucial headers to deny Osvaldo but struggled to keep a straight defensive line and often played the Juventus forwards onside. Kadir Keleş - Could not cope with the threat of Isla down the wing and only a 37th-minute injury spared him from further embarrassment. Özer Hurmacı - He went the closest to scoring for Trabzonspor but conceded possession too easily and offered little protection to the back four. Mauricio Isla - He was a constant thorn in the Trabzonspor defence with his ability to pick a pass and exploit wide areas. Hit the post in the early minutes. Paul Pogba - The France midfielder tested Onur with a number of long-range efforts and he helped Juventus to dominate the midfield before he was substituted in preparation for the weekend clash with Milan. Claudio Marchisio - Flourished in Pirlo's deep-lying playmaker role, breaking up the Trabzonspor midfield and springing Juventus attacks with his accurate range of passing. Arturo Vidal - The Chilean showed why he is one of the most coveted players in Europe with another faultless box-to-box performance. Consistently got into dangerous attacking positions and scored his 17th goal of the season with an instinctive finish. Federico Peluso - The left wing-back was rarely exposed defensively though he struggled to make an impact in attacking positions. Saw a first-half effort disallowed before missing a sitter late on. SEBASTIAN GIOVINCO - His best performance of the season. The Juventus No.12 was brimming with confidence and tore the Trabzonspor defence to pieces with his clever footwork and movement, providing two assists. Juventus came out flying to begin the game, rightfully taking the lead on Arturo Vidal's 18th minute goal and then having Dani Osvaldo put a bow on the neatly-wrapped Europa League present 12 minutes before halftime to put Juve up 4-0 on aggregate. Done deal. Onto the Round of 16. It was exactly the way you'd want Juventus to go about things in Turkey. There was no messing around. There was no funny business. There was no letting Trabzonspor make things even a wee bit interesting. Even crazier when you consider he hadn't scored a goal. Just a damn good, Man of the Match performance from the little guy, who hasn't had many opportunities to play this season. Juventus started at a lightening pace and should have taken the lead within five minutes. Sebastian Giovinco drove at the centre of the Turkish defence and fed it into the overlapping Mauricio Isla, but Trabzonspor goalkeeper Omur Kivrak did brilliantly to close him down and divert the ball off the post. http://markting10.nl/ Soon after Giovinco was involved again. When his corner rebounded back to him, the forward cooly picked up the onrushing Claudio Marchisio on the edge, but his strike was down the throat of Kivrak and he punched clear. Trabzonspor gifted possession away once again and a clever Giovinco reverse pass at the edge of the box played in Vidal, but Mustafa Yumlu made a last ditch recover challenge to save the Turks once again. Kivrak’s hands were stung again when a terrific touch and drive from Paul Pogba as Antonio Conte looked bemused at how his side had not put this tie to bed. http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri finally got the ball in the net when Federico Peluso poked in after a scramble in the box, but his joy was cut sort as he was rightly flagged offside. After 18 minutes though the pressure from the Serie A champions finally bore fruit. Pablo Osvaldo cut back to the Giovinco only for Kivrak to deny him, but the ball rolled into the path of Vidal and the Chilean lifted it cleverly into the roof of the net. Osvaldo thought he had doubled the lead but the Southampton loanee was a fraction off when coverting Isla’s through ball. http://markting10.nl/ Just after the half hour mark though the Argentine born Italian international got his first of the night and second of the tie. Marchisio played a delightful ball over the top that released the irrepressible Giovinco, and his half volley took out the goalkeeper and left Osvaldo with the simplest of headers for 2-0. A clever back heel on the edge of the penalty area put Padoin through on goal, but the midfielder could only fire straight at the goalkeeper, who then had to punch the ball wide as it slowly squirmed under his body. Trabzonspor did have a couple of shots towards the end but Gianluigi Buffon was never in any trouble.

Giorgio Chiellini was injured and Andrea Barzagli rested, while Daniel Osvaldo partnered Sebastian Giovinco. Florent Malouda was able to start for the hosts despite a recent injury. http://markting10.nl/ Antonio Conte said Juve wouldn’t just sit back and defend, so it was no surprise after four minutes when Mauricio Isla’s angled drive was deflected off the goalkeeper on to the far post. Claudio Marchisio then stung Onur Kivark’s gloves for a corner, while Arturo Vidal threatened from a corner and Paul Pogba’s screamer was beaten out from under the bar. It was an extraordinary start from Juve, who wasted another golden opportunity when Isla, Vidal and Osvaldo all had chances to finish off a counter and none of them would take the shot. Giovinco sparked a give-and-go with Osvaldo to force a save from point-blank range, but Vidal was ready to finish it off on the rebound. Isla rolled a dangerous ball across the face of goal that Osvaldo and Giovinco couldn’t get on the end of. Vidal had another shot charged down in the area, but the goal arrived soon after.
