Perché siamo cresciuti in un periodo storico che ha visto il Manchester dominante sia in campionato che nelle coppe europee. Tutto questo condito da una generazione di campioni rimasti iconici per diversi motivi e successivamente da una forza economica clamorosa in grado di garantirgli una superiorità non indifferente sul fronte calciomercato e conseguente crescita esponenziale sul piano marketing a livello mondiale. Mentre il Liverpool prima dell'avvento di Klopp non vinceva un campionato da 30 anni e ha vissuto stagioni memorabili soltanto in pochissime occasioni. Dai novanta all'era Jurgen ricordo il treble nazionale del 2001, la CL sculatissima del 2005 e il campionato perso in maniera beffarda con lo scivolone di Gerrard..
