  1. Napoli remains the only concrete destination for Federico Chiesa this summer In the last few days, rumours have begun to circulate that Inter Milan wants to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus as his Bianconeri future remains uncertain. ............. Juve has no intention of selling Chiesa to Inter Milan, which is their main rival. The attacker can only move to Inter as a free agent next summer, making Napoli the most likely destination for the Euro 2020 winner. Chiesa will be eager to sort out his future soon after returning for pre-season following his wedding. The attacker hopes he gets chances under Thiago Motta should he stay at the club. ............. 3. Verona president discusses Juventus hijack of Cabal’s move to Inter Milan Juventus has just completed the signing of Juan Cabal, despite it initially seeming that he was heading to Inter Milan. ............ Juventus managed to hijack the move from their bitter rivals, although Verona’s president Maurizio Setti suggests that they didn’t have a formal agreement with Inter before Juventus stepped in to secure the signing. “No, there has never been a real advantage but internal and shared choices. Everyone is happy, it should always be like this, it is not always like this but today it was good”. ............ 4. Cabal: ‘I was always a Juventus fan as a kid’ Juan Cabal had a photograph on social media of himself as a child in a counterfeit Juventus jersey, but now gets to wear it for real after an €11m transfer. ‘I was always a Juve fan.’ This perhaps explains why the Colombia international was so eager to switch over and join the Bianconeri yesterday, despite having already agreed personal terms and a move to Inter. When Cristiano Giuntoli approached, the 23-year-old had no doubts and passed his medical this morning, completing the transfer from Hellas Verona for €11m plus up to €3.8m in bonuses. “I am very happy, as this is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I am so overjoyed to wear this jersey,” Cabal told the official club website. Following the swoop, an image went viral from Cabal’s social media accounts showing him as a kid in a knock-off Juve shirt. “As a kid, I wore this jersey that was not an original one, and now I get to wear the legendary Juventus shirt and I am so happy. I was always a Juve fan.” ............ “I am someone who can play both positions, I’m very quick and well-behaved, both on and off the field. My idols are Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos.” ............ “Everyone in Colombia is celebrating, because this is an important step for me, my family and all the kids who also have a dream and can see me making it happen.” Read more -> https://football-italia.net/cabal-i-was-always-a-juventus-fan-as-a-kid/
  5. Official: Juan Cabal completes Juventus transfer Juventus have officially signed Juan Cabal from Hellas Verona for €11m plus up to another €3.8m in bonuses, snatching him from under the noses of Inter. The left-back, who can also play as a central defender, had been all set for a move to San Siro after the clubs agreed a €10m plus bonuses move and personal terms too. However, yesterday Juve swooped in and suddenly managed to secure a deal instead. ............ Juventus have paid Verona €11m – payable over three financial years – with the addition of ancillary costs up to €1.8m. There are also performance-related bonuses of up to €2m. Cabal has signed a contract with the Bianconeri to June 2029. ............ Read more -> https://football-italia.net/official-juan-cabal-complete-juventus-transfer/
  6. Is Cabal a new Calafiori for Thiago Motta at Juventus? Juventus are on the verge of signing Juan Cabal from Hellas Verona and the two roles the Colombian can cover suggest he may be a new Riccardo Calafiori for Thiago Motta in Turin. Verona defender Cabal arrived in Turin this morning to undergo medical tests with Juventus ahead of a permanent €12m transfer, including add-ons. ............ His versatility reminds of Bologna star Calafiori who joined the Rossoblu as a left-back last summer, but developed into a centre-back under Motta at the Stadio Dall’Ara in 2023-24. Motta will be unveiled as the new Juventus coach at a press conference later today when he will likely discuss his ideas on Cabal. ............ There are, however, clear differences between the two defenders, as their price tags suggest. As mentioned, Cabal will move to Turin on a €10m deal plus €2m add-ons, while Calafiori is expected to join Arsenal for over €50m. ............ Cabal is a year older than Calafiori, but the Italian international was clearly unaffordable for the Bianconeri after impressive performances for Bologna and during the Euros. ............ 7. 8. Juventus swoop in, agree to deal for Inter transfer target Juan Cabal Surprise transfer move incoming! Because of financial issues both clubs have had over the last couple of years, it hasn’t been often that Juventus and Inter Milan have rivaled one another for a player on the transfer market. When they have rivaled one another for a player, that has usually meant Juve coming in and snatching an Inter target right from under their noise, the most notable being Bremer two summers ago in the wake of Matthijs de Ligt heading to Bayern Munich. Well, my friends, I have something to say: It’s time to add another one to the list. According to multiple reports, Juventus and Hellas Verona have agreed to a deal for fullback Juan Cabal. What makes it all the more of a surprising move is that Juve’s arch rival, Inter, looked all set themselves to sign Cabal until about 12 hours ago before Cristiano Giuntoli jumped in and snatched the 23-year-old Colombian away from Beppe Marotta’s hands. Juve will reportedly pay around €12 million to Hellas Verona for Cabal, who arrived in Italy from Colombia in 2022 after playing for Atlético Nacional. Cabal will be paid around €1.2 million per season. Considering that this will be a deal involving two Serie A clubs, Juventus are still able to make it happen even though Cabal would normally take up a non-EU spot on the roster. ............ Cabal, on paper, very much fits the mold of what you would expect a Thiago Motta-managed fullback would like to do. ............ Sound defensively and somebody who is able to contribute on the offensive end of things? Well, well, well .. that sounds like something that Motta can certainly use on his team. It will reportedly cost Juventus a couple million euros more than what Inter was set to pay. ............ Cabal will be just the second-ever Colombian player to appear for Juventus’ senior squad after Cuadrado. 9. “A very demanding manager” – Cambiaso reveals his playing position under Motta Juventus fullback Andrea Cambiaso heaps praise on the club’s new coach Thiago Motta. ............. The 24-year-old initially joined the Bianconeri in the summer of 2022, but was immediately sent on loan to Bologna. This opportunity allowed Cambiaso to develop his game under the guidance of the Italo-Brazilian tactician. So now that the 41-year-old has been appointed, Cambiaso is the only member of the current Juventus squad who had been previously coached by the former Inter and PSG midfielder. ............. “He is a coach who has a great mentality, and a great desire to work,” said Cambiaso. “He is very demanding and therefore does very well. We are a relatively young team, so I think he can help us a lot.” ............. Read more -> https://www.juvefc.com/a-very-demanding-manager-cambiaso-reveals-his-playing-position-under-motta/

The Bianconeri have already opened contacts with Porto for Conceicao’s services. The Serie A giants are reportedly offering an initial loan proposal with an obligation to buy. The source describes the Portugal international as a priority transfer target for Juventus Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli. Similar to his compatriot Wojciech Szczesny, the striker is on his way out of the club after being omitted from Thiago Motta’s plans. ........... The Bianconeri are requesting a transfer fee of 6 or 7 million euros to part ways with the Tychy native. As the source notes, this is almost the same figure that the club splashed to sign Milik on a permanent basis from Olympique Marseille last summer. ............ The Italian giants are currently revamping their attacking department, with Matias Soulé, Federico Chiesa and Arkadiusz Milik all tipped to follow Moise Kean to the exit door. ............. The Bianconeri have identified two players for this delicate role. The first is Mateo Retegui who has been plying his trade in Genoa since making the move from Boca Juniors last summer. ............. The alternative option is Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori, a versatile attacker who can play almost anywhere in the final third. ............. Juventus are refusing to sell the Argentine for anything less than 35 million euros despite Roma’s vigorous attempts. The third name on the list is Wojciech Szczesny who has become surplus to requirements following Michele Di Gregorio’s arrival. ............. They note that Soulé and his representative made clear once again today that it does not matter if Leicester City or any other club is going to offer more for the transfer fee or his wages. Juventus respect that, but need Roma to bump up their proposal from €28m to at least €30m. He is absolutely convinced that Roma is the right step for his career after speaking directly to coach Daniele De Rossi, fellow Argentines Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes. It is not about finances or even ambition, so much as the sporting project and also the lifestyle he would enjoy in Rome. ............. The Dutchman has agreed to move to Juventus and continue his career in Turin, but the Bianconeri must agree on a transfer fee with Atalanta before he can leave. ............. He started Atalanta’s game against their U19 side. It was an in-house friendly game that provided an opportunity to assess the players’ fitness levels, and Koopmeiners returned to action. 18. Simone Braglia thinks Chiesa will perform better away from Juventus Federico Chiesa is not back at Juventus for the pre-season training camp after representing Italy at Euro 2024, leaving the attacker’s future uncertain. Chiesa is one of Juventus’s big-name stars, but that seems to be just on paper; he is no longer an untouchable player at the club. ............. Former goalkeeper Simone Braglia suggested the attacker would be better off playing for another club. “As for the future at the national level, I think he is an element that can still give a lot. He needs to find an environment that gives him confidence. A person who has confidence in the environment gives the best of himself. And professionalism has little to do with it. Where would I see him best? Not at Juve, if there is no unity of purpose in the environment. If he doesn’t feel the confidence, I would recommend any other club, whether it’s Naples or Rome”. .............
