JUVENTUS 1 - 0 UDINESE Fernando Llorente 90+1′ December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Attendance: 38000 Udinese were tough but it's a sixth consecutive Serie A win for Juve Dec 1, 2013 There has been only one draw in the last 17 matches contested between these two sides, and Fernando Llorente's header ensured there was another winner on Sunday night. Juventus managed a sixth consecutive win in the league with a 1-0 victory over Udinese. http://markting10.nl/ Records are meant to be broken, and whenever the Bianconeri have won with a 3-1 or 3-2 scoreline, they have gone on to lose or draw their next match under Antonio Conte. Not anymore. Yet one has to feel for Udinese, considering their valiant efforts in defence and the ambition they showed going forward in the second half. It was clear that Francesco Guidolin's men were intent on soaking up the pressure, close marking their opponents and then counter-attacking with pace when they had the chance to do so in the match. Their energy levels were to be commended whilst their concentration levels rarely dropped as they stayed attentive and quickly closed down the spaces usually afforded to Juve. Juventus started well and the match proved entertaining in a stadium that boasted a different atmosphere on account of the 12,000 plus children invited to sit and cheer on the side in the Juve stands. Played at a fast pace, the Bianconeri looked alive, that is until they lost Andrea Pirlo to injury. It is matches like these that make one realise just how important Pirlo and Gianluigi Buffon are to the Bianconeri cause. http://markting10.nl/ Without the deep lying midfielder's ability to dictate the tempo, imprecision reigned supreme, his range of passing was sorely missed with the Old Lady struggling to recreate those penetrative passes that might have just pierced a tough Udinese defence. The home side may have dominated possession and they always looked to push forward but they were largely made to look impotent. Carlo Tevez moved from side to side and Claudio Marchisio delighted with his intelligent runs forward yet that final ball was missing, that clear opportunity rarely created. On the other side, Udinese had their chances but were halted by the magic of Buffon. Leonardo Bonucci's woeful error allowed Antonio Di Natale a great opportunity to open the scoring but the mighty Juve goalkeeper was there, still standing and brilliantly stopped the intended chip. http://markting10.nl/ In the second half, Guidolin's men returned showing greater ambition to go for goal and Buffon performed miracles again as he stopped Bruno Fernandes attempt and Di Natale's follow-up. Without him in goal, Juventus may well have lost this game. Alert, focused and intimidating, the goalkeeper has now kept a clean sheet in six consecutive Serie A games to laugh in the face of those who dared to criticise his performances earlier in the season. Physically and mentally fatigued after that must win match against Copenhagen midweek, it was evident Juve were suffering to keep up with the energetic performance of their opponents. The goal looked like it would never arrive and the Friuli team did well to contain the home side's pressure. However, Conte's men did well to believe until the final whistle. Llorente was the man to finally give Juventus the winner they needed to help them open a three point gap over second-placed Roma by heading in the only goal of the game moments before the final whistle. The Spaniard has now managed a goal in each of Juve's three last Serie A games to demonstrate the manner in which he has grown into the squad. However, this was far from a perfect performance for the forward, who struggled to hold on to possession. His link up play is often beautiful to watch but he was usually to blame for giving the ball away so cheaply after striving so hard to intercept the Udinese passes. http://markting10.nl/ The late Llorente goal broke the heart of every Udinese fan. It was cruel considering how hard the side fought for a point. Yet despite the energy and the quick tempo, Guidolin's men struggled to really provide their attackers with those much-needed incisive passes and the support required to mount serious attacks going forward. Oh how they miss the likes of Mauricio Isla, Gokhan Inler and Alexis Sanchez -- players capable of creating and penetrating and affording Di Natale all the passes and opportunities he requires to strike, score and guide his team to the top positions. As for Conte, he's right in saying that he was lucky and not talented when opting to take Paolo De Ceglie off for Fabio Quagliarella. However, gambling for the victory shows courage and belief in the strengths of his players and for that he must be commended. It is wonderful to see a side play for a win as opposed to settling for a draw. The strategy paid off and Juve can now celebrate yet another win and their position at the top of the table. http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS 1 - 0 UDINESE Fernando Llorente 90+1′ December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Attendance: 38000 Initial thoughts and random observations Dec 1, 2013 The Udinese bus had been parked for much of Sunday's game at Juventus Stadium. It wasn't anything new just because the clock was winding down in the second half. Udinese were defending tough and defending in bunches, putting anybody and everybody in an orange jersey behind the ball. http://markting10.nl/ Juventus needed something. A spark of magic, a lucky break to go their way as they tried to up the urgency down the stretch. And as we entered the first minute of stoppages, Fernando Llorente was up to his tricks once again. Things looked certain to be headed towards a scoreless draw and then suddenly, out of nowhere, El Rey Leon was celebrating his game-winning goal and all seemed right in the world once again. How about that for a sudden change of thought? I've never been happier to blow up a post-game writeup and start over again. In a game where Juventus had 27 shots directed towards Udinese's goal, it was the last one that mattered the most. It was looking like one of those nights where you'd be more likely to pull your hair out rather than celebrating a Juventus goal. Juve lacked that something special to unlock the Udinese defense. http://markting10.nl/ After 90 minutes and change of waiting, Juve finally did just that, getting a prototypical goal from a prototypical prima punta. No style points, but Juve got three points. I'll take that any day of the week. JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen Llorente: It was a tough game, we created plenty of chances but it didn't seem like we'd find the breakthrough. http://markting10.nl/ Random thoughts and observations •Llorente will get the headlines for scoring the game-winning goal, and that's perfectly okay with me. But Juventus wouldn't have been in position to win the game in stoppage time if it weren't for the efforts of Gigi Buffon. Can you even remember the last time he had to make four crucial saves in a match like he did today? It's been a good amount of time. A lot of that has to do with the way Juve's defense has played, of course, but Buffon more than answered the call against Udinese. He's my pick for Man of the Match — and not just because he's my favorite. •How does Stephan Lichtsteiner mark his return to the field after a two-month absence? By getting the assist on Llorente's goal, of course. Welcome back, my friend. You've been sorely missed. http://markting10.nl/ •Please be okay, Andrea Pirlo. •A lot of things changed when Pirlo came off the field less than 15 minutes into the first half, but the biggest difference might have been the impact Claudio Marchisio made. Il Principino had one of the brightest starts to the game of any Juventus player, making his classic runs into the box almost every time his team had the ball. But once Pirlo left the game, those runs weren't happening. Well, a lot of what Marchisio was doing to begin the game wasn't happening anymore. To be fair, though, the whole midfield just lacked their usual pop because they were without their beloved bearded maestro. •Roma keep dropping points and Juve keep winning games. I like the sound of that. http://markting10.nl/ •A little stat courtesy of the folks at WhoScored: Of the 27 shots Juve attempted on Sunday, 15 of those were blocked. Udinese may have had 10 guys behind the ball a good amount of the time, but they really did defend well and probably deserved to come out of the game with a point. •Andrea Barzagli is a wall. That is all. •Six straight wins, six straight clean sheets. The formula for success isn't too difficult to figure out, you guys. Buffon deserved the shutout tonight, and he got it. http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS 1 - 0 UDINESE Fernando Llorente 90+1′ December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Attendance: 38000 Juventus 1-0 Udinese: 6 Things We Learned Dec 1, 2013 Juventus scraped a 1-0 victory against Udinese to extend their lead at the top of the league over Roma and potentially end the title race in Serie A. http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri only lead the Giallorossi by three points, but the manner of the victory against the Zebrette showed exactly why they are back-to-back champions. Not everything was working today for Antonio Conte's side, but the Old Lady never gave up and their persistence was rewarded by a 90th-minute winner by Fernando Llorente. Here are six things that we learned. http://markting10.nl/ Llorente Is Going Nowhere in January This is an obvious one now, but after rumours over the last couple of weeks linked Fernando Llorente with a move away in January (per Metro), that possibility has been effectively ended by the Spaniard's excellent performances in recent weeks. Llorente was not spectacular against Udinese, but he is now finding his form and the back of the net on a regular occasion, almost always one or the other, making him indispensable right now. It was a goal made from the former Athletic Club striker's instinct, as he flicked his head to divert the ball past a despairing Zeljko Brkic. http://markting10.nl/ Conte will be delighted by the goals that have come Llorente's way—and especially by their importance—including goals against top opposition such as Napoli and Real Madrid. With three goals in as many games, Llorente is now undroppable and will surely be looking forward to a successful career in black and white. http://markting10.nl/ Antonio Di Natale Is Becoming Too Isolated This could be the end for Antonio Di Natale, as age is inevitably going to catch up with the great striker at some point. Even if age does mean the end of the player who was able to spearhead Udinese's attack by himself, it does not mean that Di Natale cannot be a very effective striker if Francesco Guidolin tweaks the tactics somewhat. At the moment, Toto is isolated and his speed has deserted him, meaning centre-backs are happy to get close and outmuscle him whenever the ball finds its way toward him. http://markting10.nl/ Without significant support, Udinese's attack is blunt, making Di Natale obsolete. Guidolin must find a way of getting bodies in and around Di Natale if Udinese are to continue being a side capable of pushing into the European places and the upper echelons of Italian football. http://markting10.nl/ Buffon Is Still a Great Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has endured a tough season, with criticism fired at him for a number of high-profile errors. But this is just a phase, and Buffon proved his class once again against Udinese. With the game tight due to a combination of Udinese's stubbornness and Juve's inability to find clear-cut chances, Buffon was called upon to keep the game in the balance. http://markting10.nl/ With Di Natale finding space inside the penalty area and Buffon sprawled across the floor after punching clear a cross, the Udinese striker shot toward the bottom corner from point-blank range. Buffon showed tremendous athleticism to bounce back up and claw away the almost certain goal, ensuring that Juve could go on to take one chance in order to gather all three points. It is often these sort of games that are the most difficult for goalkeepers, with little to do and concentration waning, so Conte will be pleased to see that Buffon can still make a difference on the outcome of a game. http://markting10.nl/ Juve Lack a Decision-Maker Without Pirlo Andrea Pirlo departed the game prematurely against Udinese, forcing Conte to throw Paul Pogba on in his place. While the Frenchman is an adequate replacement in terms of quality, bringing additional skills that certainly enhance Juve's side, something was evidently missing when Pirlo exited. Despite the many qualities that Pogba, Claudio Marchisio and Arturo Vidal possess, none of them seem ready to replace Pirlo's decision-making quality. http://markting10.nl/ Nobody appears ready to orchestrate the play, step up to seize responsibility and dictate the pace of the game. Juve continued to dominate possession, but the moves continued to break down, with the Bianconeri often losing patience and players firing shots at goal without an anchor to recycle possession to, something that Pirlo takes care to avoid. Conte might have been caught off-guard due to the injury, but moving forward, it needs to be made clear that somebody must inherit Pirlo's decision-making on the pitch. http://markting10.nl/ Lichtsteiner's Return Gives Juve Greater Variety Stephan Lichtsteiner made his long-awaited return from injury against Udinese. The Swiss international added some much-needed drive and penetration down the right side of the pitch. This has been severely lacking in recent weeks, and his delivery is also an added bonus that should bring out another facet to the game of Fernando Llorente. http://markting10.nl/ Without a consistent deliverer from crosses, Juve have been reluctant to toss the ball into the penalty area, even though Carlos Tevez is handy enough in the air to push Conte to encourage more of this in the side's game. A returning Lichtsteiner means that the opposition will have an additional threat to consider in their tactics, with sides currently tending to leave the wide players unmarked, knowing that they will rarely be hurt by them. With Lichtsteiner ever willing to stretch the opposition, the centre of the pitch should become less congested, with the Bianconeri able to spread the play more often. http://markting10.nl/ Danilo Has Stepped Up Since Benatia's Departure Mehdi Benatia was a player that Udinese expected to sorely miss after the Moroccan departed Udine for Rome. But since then, Danilo, a player who complemented Benatia in defence last season, has stepped up to begin leading not only the back line, but also the team in general. The Brazilian commands the line superbly, often stepping up to catch the opposition offside. http://markting10.nl/ But it is the Brazilian's communication skills that immediately impress, as he pushes his team-mates into areas of the pitch to better prepare the side to cope with the intense pressure from sides like Juventus. Unfortunately for Udinese, with Danilo proving that he can lead a defence as well as complement one, there will be other suitors for his services in the future. But for the moment, Udinese are every bit as defensively sound as they were last season, and Danilo's ever-growing leadership is a major reason for this. http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS 1 - 0 UDINESE Fernando Llorente 90+1′ December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Attendance: 38000 Late Llorente winner enough to push Juventus past Udinese Dec 1, 2013 Juventus defeated Udinese by a score of 1-0 in Serie A action at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday night. http://markting10.nl/ Fernando Llorente’s header goal in the 90th minute was enough to secure the home side of the three points and extend their lead over Roma to three points. Ten minutes into the match and Zeljko Brkic made a brilliant save from Carlos Tevez, after the Argentine was set-up by Claudio Marchisio on the edge of the box. Andrea Pirlo was withdrawn for Paul Pogba five minutes later. The Italian veteran was unable to shake off a knock he picked up as a result of a crunching challenge from Andrea Lazzari. http://markting10.nl/ Tevez threatened again for the home side but could only stab an effort wide inside the box after strong work from strike partner Llorente. Udinese’s talisman Antonio Di Natale cut a lonely figure up-front for the away side but had a glorious chance to give them the lead on the half-hour mark. The Italian latched on to a loose pass from Leonardo Bonucci but saw his ambitious chip clawed away by Gianluigi Buffon. A few moments later and Tevez again for Antonio Conte’s team went close but his shot come cross evaded both the post and Arturo Vidal who flung himself at the ball. http://markting10.nl/ Around ten minutes after the restart Buffon saved Juventus from going behind with a wonderful double save. The Old Lady captain firstly parried a cross from the right before denying Di Natale from close range when the Udinese striker really should have scored. Buffon was called into action again moments later. Di Natale pirouetted mesmerically away from Bonucci and laid off Lazzari, who saw his dipping effort saved by the fingertips of Italy’s number one. At the other end Brkic spilled a Paolo De Ceglie header and just reached the loose ball before Fernando Llorente, who was lurking inside the six-yard box. http://markting10.nl/ Juventus were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box five minutes before the end but Tevez attacked it with no real conviction and his shot curled over the crossbar. Substitute Fabio Quagliarella then tested Brkic from range. The Italian striker spun away from Thomas Heurtaux on the edge of the box but the Udinese keeper was equal to the shot and tipped it wide for a corner. The hosts continued to press in the latter stages and from a corner as Llorente saw his powerful header cleared off the line by Brazilian midfielder Allan. http://markting10.nl/ Llorente did find the net with a header a minute later however. The ball ricocheted in and around the Udinese box before a skewed Stephan Lichtsteiner shot was deflected past Brkic by the head of the Spanish striker. The victory puts Juventus three points clear at the top of Serie A, ahead of second-placed Roma who drew with Atalanta. http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS 1 - 0 UDINESE Fernando Llorente 90+1′ December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Attendance: 38000 Late Llorente sinks Udinese Fernando Llorente scored in stoppages for Juventus to beat Udinese 1-0 and extend their lead at the top to three points. Dec 1, 2013 The kick-off was brought forward so 12,200 children could pack the Juventus Stadium, replacing the ultras in the Curva Nord and Sud who are banned for anti-Neapolitan chants. The Bianconeri went top of the table last week and were eager to stay there, though Kwadwo Asamoah was suspended with Mauricio Isla, Sebastian Giovinco and Simone Pepe injured. Andrea Barzagli returned to the side. Udinese were fresh from beating Fiorentina 1-0, though Luis Muriel and Mathias Ranegie missed out. http://markting10.nl/ Zeljko Brkic flew for a stunning one-handed save to stop the Carlos Tevez shot on the bounce going under the bar. The goalkeeper also rushed off his line to smother at Claudio Marchisio’s feet, but Andrea Pirlo went off after a knock to the knee. Tevez had an attempt deflected wide after good work from Fernando Llorente, but there was a huge scare for Juve on 29 minutes. Antonio Di Natale dispossessed Leonardo Bonucci and lobbed Gigi Buffon, who got a fingertip to the ball in order to allow Barzagli to clear. Tevez flashed an angled drive across the face of goal, but the Bianconeri struggled to break down Udinese. http://markting10.nl/ After the restart the visitors threatened again, as Buffon beat away a powerful Bruno Fernandes cross and an extraordinary reaction save on Di Natale’s follow-up from point-blank range. Stephan Lichtsteiner made his comeback after two months, replacing Simone Padoin. Buffon was again called into a fine save to turn Andrea Lazzari’s strike out from under the bar after a wonderful touch from Di Natale. The Paolo De Ceglie cross-shot landed on the roof of the net and Brkic fumbled an easy catch, but was grateful to scramble it back under control. Tevez aimed an angled drive straight at the goalkeeper and Antonio Conte threw on Fabio Quagliarella. However, the striker was booked within 20 seconds for a handling offence in midfield. http://markting10.nl/ Lazzari and Tevez tested the goalkeepers from distance, while Apache curled a free kick over the bar. Brkic flew to palm away a Quagliarella curler and in the final minute Allan needed a goalline clearance to deny Llorente’s header from a corner. It was a siege on Brkic’s goal towards the end and Lichtsteiner drilled wide. In stoppages, the breakthrough finally arrived, as a Lichtsteiner shot was going wide until Llorente got the final flick with his head from seven yards. http://markting10.nl/ JUVENTUS: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Padoin (Lichtsteiner 58), Vidal, Pirlo (Pogba 15), Marchisio, De Ceglie (Quagliarella 76); Tevez, Llorente UDINESE: Brkic; Heurtaux, Danilo, Domizzi, Gabriel Silva; Lazzari, Allan; Bruno Fernandes (Badu 61), Pereyra (Maicosuel 88), Basta; Di Natale Ref: Calvarese http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS 1 - 0 UDINESE Fernando Llorente 90+1′ December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Attendance: 38000 Late Llorente goal gives Bianconeri win Antonio Conte's men left in until the dying seconds in Turin to extend their lead in Serie A to three points thanks to the Spaniard's headed effort. Dec 1, 2013 Fernando Llorente struck in second-half stoppage-time to secure a 1-0 for Juventus against Udinese on Sunday. http://markting10.nl/ Roma needed a last-gasp equaliser to claim a 1-1 draw at Atalanta earlier in the day and Juve's late goal of their own saw them move three points clear at the top of Serie A. Juve - who are gunning for a third straight league title - dominated the first half but a lack of cutting edge hurt them. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made a string of superb saves in the second half, frustrating Udinese as he kept his sixth league clean sheet in a row. http://markting10.nl/ Antonio Conte's men then piled on the pressure in the latter stages, with Llorente heading in Stephan Lichtsteiner's shot in the 90th minute to spark wild celebrations, as Juve made it seven wins from as many Serie A home matches this season. Juventus made three changes from the side that beat Copenhagen 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday, with Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Barzagli and Paolo de Ceglie all coming in as Paul Pogba dropped to the bench. Allan replaced Giampiero Pinzi for Udinese, who were on the back foot early in Turin as the hosts started brightly. http://markting10.nl/ Carlos Tevez was denied twice by defender Danilo early on and also forced an outstanding save from Udinese goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic in a dominant start. The hosts were dealt a major blow 14 minutes in as Andrea Pirlo was forced off with an apparent knee injury, sustained in a clash with Andrea Lazzari, Pogba replacing him. Tevez saw a first-time effort with his left foot go just wide four minutes later, before Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale missed a good chance at the other end when Buffon saved his chip with Roberto Pereyra well-placed centrally. http://markting10.nl/ The Argentine again shot wide as the first half petered out, with Juve unable to convert their dominance into clear-cut chances. Llorente got in the way of Tevez just after the break, and they were nearly made to pay, only for Buffon to pull off an outstanding double save in the 53rd minute. The keeper first saved Bruno's effort from the right and then quickly reacted to deny Di Natale from the rebound, and nine minutes later he moved superbly to tip Lazzari's swerving 20-yard strike over the bar. http://markting10.nl/ Tevez shot straight at Brkic at the other end before he fired just over from a free kick with six minutes to play. Fabio Quagliarella came off the bench and forced a good save from Brkic shortly after, and Llorente had a late header cleared off the line, but he still managed to have the final say in Turin, reacting sharply to turn Lichtsteiner's wayward shot home. http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

We must do well on the counter and be more attacking. http://markting10.nl/ “All teams who face Juventus want to push them back, but instead find themselves pinned into their own half behind wave after wave of attacks. Once they’ve got into gear, they win nine games out of 10. “I think my team has built a certain mentality over the past few years, but not every season is the same. It is very clear that so far we have not done well away from home. “Peak fitness is crucial to do well in Serie A and especially against Juventus, so we’ve been working on the wings for a while.” http://markting10.nl/ Guidolin was asked what he envies in Juve Coach Antonio Conte. “His youth. JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese MATCH PREVIEW Nov 30, 2013 New Serie A leaders Juventus are intent on keeping hold of top spot, while Udinese are hoping to build on last week’s vital win. http://markting10.nl/ Antonio Conte’s team knew they could put pressure on Roma with victory at Livorno and came out on top in a hard-fought contest. Fernando Llorente opened the scoring and then turned provider for Carlos Tevez to seal it. Roma’s subsequent draw meant the Turin club jumped to first place. The winning run extended to the Champions League, where the Bianconeri broke their Group B drought. Arturo Vidal starred in the 3-1 victory, becoming the first Juventus player since Filippo Inzaghi in 2000 to net a Champions League hat-trick. Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna return from suspension. However, Juve are still sweating on the fitness of Andrea Barzagli, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Mauricio Isla and Sebastian Giovinco. Kwadwo Asamoah has reached the yellow card limit. http://markting10.nl/ Following consecutive defeats before the international break, Francesco Guidolin admitted his side needed maximum points versus Fiorentina. Thomas Heurtaux duly delivered, tucking home a flicked Antonio Di Natale free-kick at the back post for the only goal. Guidolin said it was their best performance of the season and hopes it can be one to turn the corner for the Friuli outfit. They currently sit 11th after their fifth win of the campaign, six points from the drop zone. Udinese have been dealt a blow with Luis Muriel ruled out of the trip through injury. Maicosuel is also absent, but Mathias Ranegie’s condition will be monitored closer to kick-off. http://markting10.nl/ Paul Pogba inspired a 4-0 drubbing last term, Juve’s 29th victory over the Zebrette from 39 contests. Udinese have enjoyed six wins in Turin. Keep an eye on:Danilo (Udinese) – Udinese’s defensive leader, the Brazilian has a big task on his hands. JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Juventus-Udinese Preview: Table-toppers seek Zebrette scalp Antonio Conte's men leapfrogged Roma to go first in Serie A and can cling to the slender lead with a win over a side which have been inconsistent in 2013-14. Nov 30, 2013 Serie A leaders Juventus host Udinese on Sunday looking to extend their winning run to six matches. http://markting10.nl/ The reigning champions moved above Roma into top spot thanks to 2-0 victory at Livorno last weekend and will be confident of retaining that position against a club they are unbeaten against in four matches. Francesco Guidolin's side have made an inconsistent start to the season, having failed to win back-to-back league games and losing four of their last six fixtures. They have also lost five of their six away Serie A matches this term, with their sole success coming in a 2-1 victory at newly promoted Sassuolo last month. http://markting10.nl/ Goals have not been easy to come by for the 11th-placed Udinese, as only the bottom two have scored fewer times than their total of 12. To make matters worse for Guidolin, Colombian forward Luis Muriel - who has scored three of their 12 Serie A goals - will miss the trip to the Juventus Stadium with a thigh strain. The hosts come into the game on the back of a morale-boosting win in the Champions League over Copenhagen, with Arturo Vidal scoring a hat-trick in that game to take him to 10 goals in all competitions this season. http://markting10.nl/ Carlos Tevez will also provide a threat to the Udinese defence, with the Argentina international having contributed 25 per cent of Juventus' league goals this season with seven in 13 appearances since his move from Manchester City in the summer. Conte will welcome back defenders Stephan Lichsteiner, Andrea Barzagli, and former Udinese man Mauricio Isla, but Sebastian Giovinco and Simone Pepe remain on the sidelines while Kwadwo Asamoah is suspended. Blanc hints at January swoop amid Pogba rumours The 48-year-old has stated his intentions in possibly bringing in a midfielder with the Juventus star linked with les Parisiens in recent weeks. Nov 30, 2013 Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has revealed he may look to bolster his midfield options in the January transfer window. http://markting10.nl/ The Ligue 1 champions have been strongly linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Blanc has now further fuelled speculation that PSG could make a move for the France international this winter, although he has insisted that he is happy with his current squad. "We may perhaps add another element in midfield. But if I keep the same squad, I'll be very happy," Blanc said at a press conference. http://markting10.nl/ "I am very happy with my squad and I want to keep it the way it is. It's not too big, but there is a lot of quality. The competition for places is very healthy and gets the best out of the squad."

JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Conte: Juventus cannot afford to slip up The 44-year-old has urged his men to remain focused as they prepare for Sunday's home game against Udinese in Serie A. Nov 30, 2013 Antonio Conte has stressed that Juventus cannot afford to slip up if they are to win silverware this term because of Roma's impressive performances so far in 2013-14. http://markting10.nl/ The reigning champions leapfrogged the Giallorossi in the Serie A table last week following their 2-0 win over Livorno and Roma's draw versus Cagliari. However, Conte has made it clear that Juve must remain focused ahead of this weekend's clash with Udinese. "Juventus and Roma have both been in impressive form this season. That's why we must remain focused and cannot afford to slip up," the successful coach said at a press conference. http://markting10.nl/ "We know it will be difficult to maintain top spot. Whoever faces us always play the game of their lives. "We know how Udinese play. Guidolin has worked miracles over the past few years, getting them into the Champions League and Europa League. http://markting10.nl/ "Udinese have excellent, quick counter-attacking players and we’ll need to be on our guard. I don’t think it will be an easy game." Juventus currently hold a one-point lead over second-placed Roma, with Udinese sitting joint ninth in the table. http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Juventus vs. Udinese Preview: Round 14 — Time to order a six pack? Juventus host Udinese having won five games on the trot in Serie A. Can they make it six straight and start to get comfortable in their seat atop Serie A? That'd be cool, I think. Nov 30, 2013 Over the course of the last few years, Juventus and Udinese has always been one heck of an intriguing encounter. Some of it because of the players involved, some of it had to do with the tactics being used by two of the best coaches Serie A has to offer. Whatever the case has been, Juventus and Udinese provided its fair share of excitement these past couple of Scudetto-winning seasons. http://markting10.nl/ You remember the last time Udinese came to Juventus Stadium, right? Come on, you have to! It was a pretty memorable game filled with a couple of pretty memorable moments. If not, here's the best of the bunch. Ah, that Paul Pogba goal. I could watch that thing over and over again if I really wanted to. For the sake of this preview, though. I will put that off until the last sentence is written. http://markting10.nl/ With a Juventus Stadium filled with children rooting the Bianconeri on, Udinese comes to Turin looking to prevent any more of Pogba's insanely awesome goals. And looking at the form guide, it's one team that is starting to hit their stride against one that has been very inconsistent as of late. I think we can guess which one is which. http://markting10.nl/ Antonio Conte's squad has won five straight in Serie A. And because of it, they're atop the table for the first time in weeks. Roma has slipped up, and Juve has come charging forward to overtake what was the hottest team in Europe the first two months of the season. Juventus and first place. It's got a nice right to it, doesn't it? http://markting10.nl/ GOOD NEWS You guys check out the Serie A table within the last couple of days? It's looking a little different — in a good kind of way — than it did the first two months of the season. Three straight Roma draws has seen Juve close the gap and overtake Rudi Garcia's side rather quickly, and now, have them looking up at the two-time defending champs. I'd like to keep it this way. I hope you guys agree. http://markting10.nl/ MORE GOOD NEWS Who wants bad news when Juventus is playing well? Exactly. Quite possibly the best piece of news entering the weekend is that Stephan Lichtsteiner is back, baby! So is Andrea Barzagli! That's pretty good news considering what the defensive options were this time last weekend. http://markting10.nl/ WHAT TO WATCH FOR 1. Any sort of Champions League hangover. Why? Because why the hell not. It's always something that works its way into my head after Juventus play on the European stage. I can't help it. It's there, setting up shop when I should be totally happy that Juve are sitting second in their Champions League and atop the Serie A standings. But noooooo, Mr. Negative is thinking about what could go wrong rather than what could go right. In all seriousness, though, Juventus had a pretty uneventful return to league play after their 2-2 draw against Real Madrid at the end of October. So if they'd like to record another win like they did the last time around, that'd be cool. 2. The ability to keep the train rolling. The month of November treated Juventus quite well, I must say. The Fiorentina meltdown has turned out to be an absolute blessing in disguise. Why? Since that second-half disaster in Florence, Juve hasn't allowed a goal in Serie A. And, it's not surprising that they've won every game because of the much more favorable goal differential the past month. Well, because of other stuff, too, but the defense getting their act together is something that has helped this squad get back to what they do best — win games. It's a pretty easy recipe for success to figure out, isn't it? http://markting10.nl/ 3. Where Martin Caceres figures into the equation. With all the injuries and suspensions Juve have had to deal with as of late, one of the benefits is that Caceres has gotten a lot of playing time because of it. He's certainly taken advantage of his recent opportunities, too, whether it has been as a right back in a 4-3-3 or as a member of the backline in a 3-5-2. He's always been a versatile player, and the last couple of weeks is just further confirmation of it. And while Lichtsteiner has been called up for the first time in nearly two months, throwing him back into the fire is something not many people are suggesting. That could very well mean Caceres gets to play as a right wingback for the first time in long time. Considering my approval of high-socked Uruguayans, I'd be perfectly okay with No. 4 getting some more playing time this weekend. 4. Which Udinese shows up. There hasn't been a lot of winning going on for Udinese recently. Considering the kind of attacking talent they have, there hasn't been a lot of goal scoring going on for Udinese, either. It's not like a team who has been one of the more exciting clubs in Italy the past few seasons to be averaging under a goal a game, let alone one that is so up and down. But that's the reality Udinese currently finds themselves in — four losses in the last six games domestically and just one win away from all season. http://markting10.nl/ 5. Ashton Kutcher on the left wing. Kwadwo Asamoah's yellow card-related suspension means that Paolo De Ceglie will get his first start in quite awhile. That's not necessarily a bad thing for those of us who still have a soft spot for the shaggy-haired winger. He obviously is a player who has his flaws, but one of the good things you know about whenever De Ceglie plays is that the service from the left wing will be quality. I'm pretty sure there's a certain tall Spanish striker who is likely to start for Juve tomorrow looking forward to getting his head on a few of those crosses, too. My starting XI (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Caceres, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, De Ceglie; Llorente, Tevez http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Juventus v Udinese – Team News, Possible Line-ups,Tactics And Prediction Nov 30, 2013 The battle of the two Bianconeri has often been an amusing tactical battle in past few seasons though Juventus seems to have gained a firm upper hand in the head to head clashes in Antonio Conte era. Riding on a wave of confidence after winning last five Serie A games, Juve will be looking to avoid any slip-ups against Udinese in Turin. http://markting10.nl/ Juventus FC – Team News, Line-up and Formation The Old Lady needed three points against FC Copenhagen in mid-week in order to keep hopes of qualification alive. Arturo Vidal was on song against the Danes as he became the first Juventus player since Filippo Inzaghi to score a Champions League hat-trick, albeit with two spot kicks, to guide his team to a clinical 3-1 home win. Juventus has also regained their winning edge since that shock loss to Fiorentina and have won each of their last five league matches – without conceding a single goal. Their strong of run has in turn brought more pressure on AS Roma who has failed to win in three consecutive games to surrender the top position for the first time this season. With Roma facing a potentially tricky trip to Atalanta Juventus will be looking to get all three points against Udinese to consolidate their position. Gianluigi Buffon played his 500th Serie A game against Livorno last week and fittingly kept a clean sheet. The veteran custodian had got some degree of flak for his shaky performances when the season started but has returned to his best in last one month. With Andrea Barzagli still out injured, Martin Caceres is likely to occupy the right central defender spot in Juve’s three man back-line. http://markting10.nl/ Lichtsteiner is still out injured along with Mauricio Isla which means that Simone Padoin will start on the right-flank of the five man midfield. Kwadwo Asamoah’s suspension will see Paolo De Ceglie start on opposite flank. Juve’s wing-backs is likely to be a weak point in this match as Padoin is a mediocre player while De Ceglie has played very little this season. The midfield of Vidal-Pirlo and Paul Pogba has dazzled during Juve’s winning run and it is likely that the three players will start together once again. However, given their mid-week exertions, Claudio Marchisio will make a sub appearance in second half. Fernando Llorente is finally looking like the player who was one of the best strikers in La Liga two years back. Against Livorno the Spaniard opened the scoring with a well taken opening goal before teeing off Carlos Tevez for the second one. His aerial ability, capacity to hold possession upfront are added qualities to the Juve frontline and when you combine that with the hard-working and intelligent Argentine, you get a massively improved Juventus strike-force in comparison to past two seasons. http://markting10.nl/ Possible Starting XI (3-5-2): Buffon; Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini; Padoin, Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, De Ceglie; Llorente, Tevez Udinese – Team News, Line-up and Formation Udinese’s business model of finding players for cheap and selling them for profit while still maintaining a steady place in the table has won plaudits in past decade but their model finally seems to have struck a sandbank this season. Udinese’s yet again newly assembled team is struggling for form so far and is currently placed just outside the top-10 with faint chance of getting into European slots. The Friuli based side has won just five times in 13 matches but their away form is even worse. Udinese has lost five out of six games on the road and their only victory came against basement boys Sassuolo. A hard fought win against Fiorentina last weekend ended Udinese’s losing streak in November which stretched for two games. http://markting10.nl/ Udinese coach Guidolin is essentially one who fields a 3-5-2 but the last game saw him change to a four man back-line. After getting a favourable result with the new formation, Guidolin is likely to retain it in Juventus stadium, given that his team are likely to play defensively and will try to hit Juve on counters. Danilo has been playing reasonably well this season and a lot with depend on the Brazilian when comes up against an in-form Fernando Llorente. Veteran Maurizio Domizzi may start along side Danilo and can prove to be a chink in the armour for Udinese. Domizzi has not started regularly this season and often seems to struggle against players with speed. Another Brazilian, left sided midfielder Gabriel Silva has played surprisingly well in his new role as a left-back. Silva will be looking to stretch Padoin on Juve’s right side with his pace and darting runs. http://markting10.nl/ With a passing % of 86.5% Allan Marques is one of the main creative outlets for Udinese and a lot may depend on how he deals with the strong Juventus central midfield. Neither Dusan Basta nor are particularly imaginative players and should Juventus manage to shut Allan down successfully, it is likely that Udinese will struggle to get forward with their narrow formation. Roberto Pereyra is Udinese’s highest assist maker with a couple of assists against his name and is likely to play in the hole behind their two strikers. Age finally seems to be catching up with Antonio Di Natale whose performances have lacked their familiar venom so far. Di Natale no longer has his pace but made full use of his short burst of acceleration. However, absence of Luis Muriel’s youthful energy means Di Natale has to work harder and this has affected his overall performance. He still is Udinese’s top scorer this season but has scored just twice in last two months. http://markting10.nl/ Possible starting XI (4-2-3-1): Brkic; Heurtaux, Danilo, Domizzi, Silva; Pinzi, Allan; Basta, Pereyra, Fernandes; Di Natale Players to Watch Out For Paul Pogba (Juventus) Pogba’s two pile drivers against Udinese last season firmly established him as a future star for Juventus. The French youngster has been in exceptional form this season and even managed to translate that for his senior national team against the crunch clash against Ukraine. Pogba will be looking to once again find the net against the same opponents. http://markting10.nl/ Gabriel Silva (Udinese) The former U20 World Cup winner has been a regular starter for Udinese this season and will be looking to exploit Juve’s potential weakness on the flanks. Udinese is likely to field a very narrow formation and width has to come from their overlapping full-backs like Gabriel Silva. Prediction Juventus 2-0 Udinese This one’s going to stay true to the form curve. Udinese has been terrible on the road and given Juve’s current ascendancy, anything but a victory for the home team will be an upset. http://markting10.nl/ Blast From The Past http://youtu.be/s_2_u9a1d0U http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

Melo: Galatasaray will eliminate Juventus The Brazilian midfielder is optimistic about his side's chances of progressing from the Champions League group stages. Nov 30, 2013 Felipe Melo remains confident that Galatasaray will reach the knockout stages of the Champions League at the expense of his former club Juventus. http://markting10.nl/ The Turkish champions dropped to third spot in Group B this week and know a win will only see them through to the last 16 following their 4-1 defeat against Real Madrid and the Serie A champions' win over Copenhagen. However, Melo, who joined the Bianconeri from Fiorentina in 2009, has little doubt that his current club Galatasaray will set the record straight on matchday six. http://markting10.nl/ "Juventus are a great team and we will need an exceptional performance," Melo told Radio Onda Cero. "However, we are confident that we will emerge victorious and reach the knockout stages." http://markting10.nl/ Galatasaray held Juventus to a 2-2 draw in Turin in the reverse fixture in October, with striker Didier Drogba giving the away side the lead before goals from Arturo Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella restored Juve's advantage. Umut Bulut had the final say with a last-minute equaliser. The Istanbul giants made it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League last term but their progress was halted by Madrid.

JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Lichtsteiner back for Juventus Nov 30, 2013 Stephan Lichtsteiner, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna return for Juventus-Udinese. http://markting10.nl/ This Serie A tie kicks off in Turin at 18.30 CET on Sunday. Ogbonna and Bonucci are back in the squad after their one-match bans, while Barzagli has shaken off an injury he sustained on international duty. http://markting10.nl/ Lichtsteiner’s inclusion is a huge boost, as the Swiss wide man has been out of action for two months with a serious thigh strain. Kwadwo Asamoah is unavailable due to suspension, while Sebastian Giovinco, Mauricio Isla and Simone Pepe are injured. Juventus squad for Udinese: Buffon, Chiellini, Caceres, Ogbonna, Pogba, Marchisio, Vucinic, Tevez, De Ceglie, Peluso, Llorente, Barzagli, Motta, Bonucci, Padoin, Pirlo, Vidal, Lichtsteiner, Quagliarella, Storari, Rubinho http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Conte: 'Punish other ultras too' Nov 30, 2013 Antonio Conte warns Juventus will have a tough game against Udinese, but notes other chants are equally worthy of punishment. http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri host Udinese on Sunday at 18.30 CET. The game was brought forward so children could pack the stands, as ultras are banned from the Curva after anti-Neapolitan chants. “There are equally serious incidents that should bring to equally strong sanctions, for example when opposition fans insult the dead at Heysel or Superga,” said Conte in his Press conference. http://markting10.nl/ “These chants are ugly and should be condemned, but so should insults towards the dead or fans who demolish the inside of stadiums.” Juve will try to make the best of the situation by having children in the Juventus Stadium cheering on their team against Udinese. “It will be a tough game, as physically they are getting back on track. We know the way they play and what they can do with excellent players on the counter-attack, including Antonio Di Natale. It will not be easy. http://markting10.nl/ “The treatment room is slowly emptying out. Stephan Lichtsteiner has started training with us, while Mauricio Isla should have the last training session separately and return with the team next week with Sebastian Giovinco. “We have been without Lichtsteiner for over two months and we really need him. We hope he can become available again before January.” Juventus are now top of the Serie A table after leapfrogging Roma, who have been held to three consecutive stalemates after winning the opening 10 rounds. http://markting10.nl/ “Rudi Garcia is doing something extraordinary. Not being top despite 10 wins and three draws means the competition is fierce and we cannot afford to let our concentration levels drop. “During a season, there can be two or three decisive moments. The less we make mistakes, the better. We are top now, but from tomorrow until Christmas our path will be complicated. “Will I write a letter to Father Christmas asking for a new player? No, I don’t write letters to Santa.” http://markting10.nl/ Naturally, Conte was also asked about the chaos at Milan with Adriano Galliani ready to leave after 28 years. “I won’t get into the situation, but Galliani is a great director, absolutely one of the best and most successful. Winning is not easy, but winning again is extremely difficult.” http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111

Monaco send scouts for Bonucci Nov 29, 2013 Monaco have sent scouts to watch Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, Press reports have insisted this evening. http://markting10.nl/ Tuttosport have claimed on Friday that the French team were in the stands for the Bianconeri’s win over Copenhagen on Wednesday to watch the defender. Russian side Zenit St Petersburg had their €15m bid for the 26-year-old rejected in the summer, and it is believed that if Juve are to accept an offer for the Italy international, then the sum would have to be considerably larger than that. http://markting10.nl/ Bonucci has become integral to Antonio Conte’s side since his arrival in 2010.

JUVENTUS - UDINESE December 1, 2013 - 6:30 PM Juventus Stadium — Turin Referee: Gianpaolo Calvarese Di Natale targets Juventus scalp The 36-year-old forward is gunning for all three points when the Zebrette take on the Bianconeri in Turin on Sunday. Nov 29, 2013 Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale is hopeful that his team can cause an upset in Sunday's Serie A game against Juventus. http://markting10.nl/ The Zebrette currently lie 11th in the table and their talismanic forward is eager to build on upon last weekend's 1-0 win over Fiorentina by stunning the league leaders in Turin. "It's going to be a tough match against Juventus, but we are on the way back again," the 36-year-old attacker told Udinese Channel. Monaco keeping tabs on Juventus defender Bonucci The Stade Louis II outfit are keen to strengthen their back four and have added the Biaconeri centre-back to their shortlist of summer transfer targets. Nov 29, 2013 EXCLUSIVE By Romeo Agresti Leonardo Bonucci has attracted the interest of Monaco with his fine performances for Juventus this season. http://markting10.nl/ Les Rouge et Blanc are keen to add to their ranks in order to boost their bid to dethrone Paris Saint-Germain as Ligue 1 champions, having previously already bringing in high-profile names such as Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho. Monaco have identified their defence as the area that most needs strengthening, despite conceding only 11 goals in 14 games so far this season. The French view the 26-year-old Bonucci as a player who could help them move to the next level and sent a scout to Juventus' Champions League win over Copenhagen on Wednesday to have a closer look at the Italy international. http://markting10.nl/ Monaco have yet to cement their interest in the centre-back, but they intend to keep monitoring him for the remainder of the season before eventually tabling an official offer during the summer. Bonucci joined Juventus from Bari in the summer of 2010 and has since developed into a key player in Turin, making over 100 official appearances for the Bianconeri to date. The defender's current contract with the Italian champions runs until June 2017.

Ancelotti: Juve better than Galatasaray Nov 28, 2013 Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti feels Juventus have what is necessary to collect a draw at Galatasaray in their last Champions League group game. http://markting10.nl/ The Old Lady are a point shy of a place in the last 16, while Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray – beaten 4-1 by Real last night – need a victory. “Every game has its own story,” the ex-Parma, Milan and Juve tactician noted. http://markting10.nl/ “Juventus have more quality than Galatasaray, but it will not be easy to go and play in Turkey. “Saying that, the Bianconeri have a greater chance of qualifying because they are in a better position in the group.”
