  1. La domanda sorge spontanea: L'arbitro vuole aiutare il Verona o vuole sfavorire la Juventus?
  2. Scusate ragazzi, ma l'arbitro indossa una fascia nera. Ne sapete il motivo?
  3. Juventus vs. Hellas Verona match preview Within an eight-day span, Juventus’ European and domestic cup competition hopes went up in smoke. Champions League? Gone. Chances of winning a second straight Coppa Italia? Gone — and at the hands of the worst team left in the tournament. It has been, to put it simply, a pretty rotten week for a Juventus squad that has had plenty of disappointment over the course of the first seven months of the 2024-25 season. That leaves 12 games on the schedule — all of which are in Serie A. And still plenty to play for, too. Juventus welcome Hellas Verona to the Allianz Stadium on Monday night with there suddenly being more than further consolidation of fourth place at stake. Thanks to the matchups between Inter and Napoli on Saturday finishing 1-1 and Atalanta dropping points to relegation-threatened Venezia earlier in the day, Juve have a chance to very much make the Scudetto race a four-team party in the first weekend of March. A victory over Hellas Verona — a squad that has just two wins in 2025 — and Juventus moves within six points of league leaders Inter and, somehow, actually have potential aspirations of making a run of things as we hit the final quarter of the season. Not to mention with Lazio grabbing a somewhat controversial stoppage-time winner against Milan Sunday night, Juve now have to answer back if they want to end Matchday 27 with the same two-point advantage in fourth place like they had coming out of last weekend. ............ Juventus, as we hit the first game in March, still have more draws (13) than wins (12). They are, again, dealing with a lengthy injury list that few others in the league can compare. They are still very much in the kind of state in which you wonder if this season is going to get any better or provide yet another massive body blow following the elimination from the Champions League and Coppa Italia within the span of a week. We’re again wondering how Juve will respond following the exit from the Coppa just like we did the week prior when they lost to PSV Eindhoven. It makes the meeting with Hellas Verona all the more important to try and stabilize things just a little bit during the rockiest of rocky roads Thiago Motta has faced as manager. It makes for a night in which the atmosphere at the Allianz Stadium is expected to be .... kinda awkward. ............ Juventus have 12 games remaining this season. They have 12 games to try and secure Champions League football for next season. They have 12 games to try and make something out of this season that has already had so many disappointing moments. That is all that is left to play for. So no matter what this summer will see take place, these next 12 games are very much important to how Juventus’ season will look come the fall. They are playing for the present, but there very much are stakes for the future as well. ............ TEAM NEWS One Juventus player is back in the squad after missing the last month due to injury. His name is Pierre Kalulu, who has been sorely missed. Kalulu is not expected to start against Hellas Verona, with a return to the lineup likely set for next weekend against Atalanta. As Kalulu returns, another Juventus player will miss out on Monday’s matchup with Hellas Verona. His name is Francisco Conceição, who is dealing with some sort of muscle discomfort in his thigh coming out of the Coppa Italia loss to Empoli. It’s unclear at this time just how much time Conceição could miss due to his new injury. ............ Thiago Motta is not expected to start both Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani from the opening whistle as he did against Empoli midweek. It’s Kolo Muani who is likely to start up front in Motta’s 4-2-3-1 formation. Andrea Cambiaso is the only Juventus player who is one yellow card away from suspension. Considering Atalanta is next up on the schedule after Monday night’s game, that seems like it’s a little more important to keep in mind compared to previous weeks. Juventus have won 13 of their last 14 home fixtures against Hellas Verona in all competitions. JUVENTUS PLAYER TO WATCH In the last five games, the young man who wears the Juventus No. 10 jersey has only started twice. Because of that, there’s been plenty of questions as to why Thiago Motta has decided to go in that direction knowing just what has been at stake in those games. ............ But, for the most part as those on the outside looking in, we don’t know why Kenan Yildiz has been out of the starting lineup for much of the last couple of weeks. It could be a tactical choice by Motta. It could be a decision made looking at how much Yildiz has played already this season compared to the entirety of last season. No matter what it is, Yildiz’s impact has mostly been off the bench of late. That is expected to change Monday night with his likely return to the starting lineup against Hellas Verona. ............ Yildiz’s last goal was on Jan. 11 against Torino. His last assist was 3 1⁄2 weeks earlier against Cagliari in mid-December. Since then, he’s played well and had some highlight-reel moments because that’s just what he does, but the thing that has been lacking has to do with the goals and goal contributions. So for as much as somebody like Kolo Muani has come in and found success right away, Yildiz’s end product — even before you take into account his performance from the penalty spot against Empoli four days ago — has come up empty of late. . We don’t know if he’s hit a physical wall considering he’s already played 2 1⁄2 times more minutes this season as compared to a year ago. But if Yildiz does kick things into gear again during a time in which Juve desperately need their best players to be just that, it would go a long way to trying to secure a place in the top four (and maybe even more). MATCH INFO When: Monday, March 3, 2025. Where: Allianz Stadium, Turin, Italy. Official kickoff time: 8:45 p.m. in Italy and the Central European time zone, 7:45 p.m. in the United Kingdom, 2:45 p.m. Eastern time, 11:45 a.m. Pacific time. . 5. Juventus vs Hellas Verona: Preview and Prediction Juventus will look to bounce back from their midweek cup disappointment when they welcome Hellas Verona to the Allianz Stadium on Monday. Following a bitter Coppa Italia quarter-final exit, the Bianconeri must now shift their entire focus to securing a top-four finish in Serie A, while their visitors arrive with the sole objective of escaping relegation. ............ However, on the league front, they remain in strong contention for a Champions League return, thanks to an impressive run of four consecutive Serie A victories in February. Last time out in the league, Vlahovic made an immediate impact in his first start of 2025, scoring early to secure a crucial away win against Cagliari. But their midweek setback has left their morale at a low point, and Thiago Motta’s future remains a topic of intense speculation. Despite their struggles, Juventus have history firmly on their side heading into this fixture. They have never lost a Serie A match at home to Verona, winning 28 of their 33 previous encounters in Turin. The visitors have also suffered in recent meetings, losing five of their last six clashes with Juve while failing to score in all but one of those games. ............ A victory for Juventus would strengthen their grip on a top-four finish, while Verona will aim to defy the odds and record back-to-back league wins for the first time in almost a year. Given the contrasting ambitions of both teams, this encounter promises to be a crucial one for their respective campaigns. Team News & Tactics Juventus Juventus continue to struggle with defensive absences, as young full-back Nicolo Savona and Chelsea loanee Renato Veiga have recently joined a growing list of sidelined players. The Bianconeri are already without Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, both of whom are ruled out for the rest of the season, while Pierre Kalulu remains unavailable. Given the lack of options at the back, Thiago Motta is expected to deploy Federico Gatti alongside Lloyd Kelly in central defense. In midfield, Douglas Luiz is also unavailable after suffering a flexor injury shortly after returning from his latest layoff. His absence reduces the manager’s options in the center of the park, with Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram expected to anchor the midfield. The attacking setup could see some adjustments, particularly regarding the strike partnership. It remains uncertain whether both Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani will retain their places in the starting XI, or if one will be rested. Vlahovic, in particular, has a strong record against Verona, having netted six goals against them in Serie A, including a brace in Juventus’ 3-0 win at Stadio Bentegodi earlier this season. Michele Di Gregorio is expected to start in goal, providing stability between the posts. Timothy Weah and Andrea Cambiaso are likely to be deployed as full-backs, with Federico Gatti and Lloyd Kelly forming the central defensive duo. In midfield, Khephren Thuram and Manuel Locatelli will be tasked with controlling possession and breaking down Verona’s attacks. Ahead of them, a trio of attackers featuring Francisco Conceicao on the right, Weston McKennie in a central playmaker role, and Kenan Yildiz on the left will provide the creative spark. Leading the line, Randal Kolo Muani is expected to get the nod, though Dusan Vlahovic remains a strong alternative, particularly given his history of success against Verona. Probable Lineup (4-2-3-1): Di Gregorio; Weah, Gatti, Kelly, Cambiaso; Thuram, Locatelli; Conceicao, McKennie, Yildiz; Kolo Muani Hellas Verona ............ Probable Lineup (3-5-2): Montipo; Dawidowicz, Coppola, Valentini; Tchatchoua, Niasse, Bernede, Duda, Bradaric; Suslov, Sarr Key Stats Juventus have won five of their last six Serie A matches against Hellas Verona (D1), keeping five clean sheets in that period. This marks a significant turnaround, as they had failed to win any of the four meetings prior to this run (D2 L2). Hellas Verona are the team against whom Juventus have played the most home games without losing in Serie A history. The Bianconeri have won 28 and drawn five of their 33 previous meetings in Turin. Juventus have won four consecutive Serie A matches for the first time since December 2023 and January 2024 (five in a row at that time). They ended February 2025 with a perfect 4/4 record in the league, marking their first such feat since February 2023. Juventus have won each of their first three league games at the Allianz Stadium in 2025. A win against Verona would mark the first time they have won their first four home matches in a single calendar year since 2021 (7/7 in that case). After their victory against Fiorentina in their most recent outing, Hellas Verona could win two Serie A matches in a row for the first time since March 2024, when they defeated Sassuolo and Lecce consecutively. Player to Watch Randal Kolo Muani Juventus will look to Randal Kolo Muani to provide the attacking impetus against Hellas Verona. The French striker has been growing in influence under Thiago Motta, using his pace, movement, and finishing ability to unsettle opposing defenses. ............ While still settling into his role in Turin, Kolo Muani’s dribbling ability and versatility make him a key attacking threat for the Bianconeri. His performance in this game could play a crucial role in Juventus maintaining their strong start to 2025 and securing another vital three points in their push for a top-four finish. Prediction Juventus 2-0 Hellas Verona Juventus may be reeling from their Coppa Italia disappointment, but their strong Serie A form and impeccable home record against Verona make them firm favorites for this clash. Despite their inconsistencies, the Bianconeri have been defensively solid in the league. ............ Verona’s recent victory over Fiorentina was a morale booster, but their lack of attacking threat — having scored just three goals in their last eight league matches — will be a major concern against a well-organized Juventus defense. The visitors have also historically struggled in Turin, failing to find the net in their last three visits to the Allianz Stadium. Juventus are likely to control possession and patiently break down Verona’s defensive setup. Expect them to find a breakthrough in the first half before sealing the victory with a second goal after the break. Another clean sheet should be on the cards for Thiago Motta’s men as they continue their push for a Champions League return. . 6. Thiago Motta discusses big outburst: “I was angry because I love my players” Thiago Motta regained his serenity and composure after lashing out at Juventus players on Wednesday night following the Coppa Italia exit. The 42-year-old has often cut a calm and collected figure, but the embarrassing elimination at the hands of Empoli instigated his first major media outburst since joining the club in the summer. ............ But after a few days of reflection, a much calmer Motta appeared in front of the media on Sunday to preview tomorrow’s Serie A contest against Hellas Verona. ............ “It wasn’t easy, because losing a game the way we did wasn’t simple. But at the same time, our duty is to think about the next game, prepare ourselves, train and be ready to face the next opponent as best we can,” said Motta in his pre-match press conference. “Our opponent tomorrow is Verona, it will be complicated, but at the same time we have great energy and a great desire to transform this anger and prove we are superior. “There is great disappointment from everyone. I was angry after Empoli because I love my players very much and because I know them. My relationship with the group is excellent. There is honesty, sincerity and communication. “In my role, I make decisions for which I spend a lot of time to avoid making mistakes, because I love the guys, but then there are decisions that I have to make, and for this reason our relationship is fantastic.” ............ “Our captain is Manuel Locatelli. There are many leaders in this group. The relationship has always been excellent with everyone. We are a united team, then when the results don’t go well, there is criticism. We are called to always give our best, that’s why I was angry after the game, also because I see how hard they work and how much they commit in training.” ............ “Hellas Verona is a good team and they come from a good victory over Fiorentina. Fans have the freedom to express themselves. We feel the same disappointment that the supporters felt. We have the same anger as them. We don’t want to repeat what we did in the Cup and we want to give our best. I expect a complicated match.” . 7. “No humility” – Sacchi blames Juventus players for Thiago Motta’s shortcomings Former Milan manager Arrigo Sacchi points the finger at Juventus players when trying to explain the club’s underwhelming campaign under Thiago Motta. ............ Sacchi continues to defend the 42-year-old, instead blaming the players’ attitude for the club’s shortcomings. ............ The legendary Italian tactician suggests some players tend to become a bit complacent after securing a transfer to Juventus, losing the hunger and determination that earned the big move in the first place. “Thiago Motta is a hard worker, but it seems to me that he ended up in an environment where the players believe they have already reached their finish line,” he said. “I don’t see, in their behavior on the pitch, that humility and spirit of sacrifice that are necessary to achieve success. At Juve, they tried to make a cultural revolution, but they now find themselves in the middle of the Ford.” ............ . 8. “We’re tired of you” – Curva Sud ultras plan protest against ‘indifferent’ Juventus The Juventus ultras are organising a marching protest against everyone responsible for the club’s failing project, from the hierarchy to the directors and technical staff all the way to the players. ............ The coach and the new players have been largely disappointing this season. The fans hardly had the time to digest their disappointing early elimination from the Champions League at the hands of PSV Eindhoven, as they were dealt a new blow a week later as the team embarrassingly crashed out of the Coppa Italia following their defeat against Empoli at home. ............ The Curva Sud ultras have invited themselves as well as all Juventus supporters to join them in a protesting march where they will make their voices heard in the hopes of sparking a real change at the club. “We are the ones who follow you everywhere, we always have Juventus on our minds, rain, snow, ice, sun, we are always there, we have trusted you, we wanted to believe in you, supporting you with enthusiasm and sacrifices,” reads the statement joinly released by jointly by Drughi Bianconeri, Primo Novembre 1897, NodEst, Viking and N..AB. ............ “Unfortunately, today we have reached the point of no longer being able to tolerate a project that seems to have failed, in which nothing has a logical sense or a comprehensible development! “The Juventus people are tired of you and unfortunately show their displeasure during the matches by whistling and insulting, something we would have always wanted to avoid. But now, your attitude and your indifference towards this historic shirt is no longer tolerable! “ENOUGH. You will understand what it means when WE CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE. You will feel our disappointment, hoping to provoke in you players, coach and directors, a spark that could, at least in part, save a disastrous season that we haven’t endured in 14 years! “We invite all Juventus fans to make your voices heard and participate in the demonstration of our disappointment at the Stadium! SUNDAY AT 7:45 PM IN THE SQUARE OF THE SOUTH CURVA AND THEN TO THE J HOTEL! WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP!” . 9. Juventus to ring the changes for Hellas Verona: Disappointing trio dropped Juventus coach Thiago Motta will be making a few yet significant changes to this starting lineup for Monday’s Serie A contest against Hellas Verona. ............ Nevertheless, the Old Lady has an opportunity to somehow climb her way back to title contention, especially following Saturday’s 1-1 draw between Napoli and Inter. Hence, a victory over Verona would leave Juventus only six points adrift from the top of the table. Therefore, it is important for Motta to get his selections right for Monday night’s fixture. The manager has decided to drop both Dusan Vlahovic and Teun Koopmeiners following their disappointing midweek showings. Hence, Randal Kolo Muani will be leading the line once more. The Frenchman has been the most consistent performer for the Bianconeri upfront since his arrival in January. Even when he doesn’t score, his overall impact can be felt. ............ Nico Gonzalez (another player who reportedly disappointed Motta) will start on the bench. Weston McKennie will operate as an attacking midfielder once more in the absence of Koopmeiners, while Khephren Thuram and Manuel Locatelli combine in the double pivot. ............ Juventus Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Di Gregorio; Weah, Gatti, Kelly, Cambiaso; Locatelli, Thuram; Yildiz, McKennie, Mbangula; Kolo Muani . 10. Juventus in training camp: Thiago Motta makes one key demand Following the embarrassing Coppa Italia elimination, Juventus decided to prepare for their next match in a training camp. ............ Therefore, it was decided that the group will hold a training camp to prepare for Monday’s Serie A contest against Hellas Verona. Several sources insisted that this measure shouldn’t be considered a punishment for the underperforming players, but simply a tactical ploy to allow the squad and the technical staff to solidify their bond and shift back their focus towards the crucial next contest. ............ Although a meeting with Verona isn’t exactly a top clash, but it is paramount for the Bianconeri to collect their third straight Serie A victory, as it would launch them straight back to title contention, putting them only six points adrift from league leaders Inter who drew with their closest chasers Napoli on Saturday. So Motta made one key request when addressing his players, simply demanding a new attitude. ............ “In the first half, there was a complete lack of the required attitude, it means that I didn’t convey to the boys what it means to play in a game like that in a Juventus shirt. You can misplace passes, you can miss shots. But you can’t lack the correct attitude. It was a very important game for us and we got it completely wrong,” said the 42-year-old in his post-match comments. . 11. New injury blow for Juventus – Francisco Conceicao out of Verona clash Juventus have been dealt with a fresh injury blow as Francisco Conceicao is now set to miss the upcoming clash against Hellas Verona. As reported, this morning, the 22-year-old Portuguese was tipped to start Monday’s contest against the Gialloblu, joining Randal Kolo Muani and Kenan Yildiz in attack. However, Thiago Motta will be forced to shuffle his cards once more. ............ “Pierre Kalulu is back which makes me happy. He gave us so much on and off the pitch,” said Motta during his presser on Sunday. “Cabal, Bremer, Milik, Conceicao, Douglas Luiz, Renato Veiga and Savona will not be there. We have seven absences, but whoever is there tomorrow will be ready for the next battle with physical, technical and mental strength.” ............ Conceicao suffered a muscle problem in his right calf. At the moment, the extent of this issue remains unclear, but the player is expected at J|Medical Centre on Monday morning where he’ll undergo the necessary clinical tests which will shed light on his condition. ............ In the absence of the Portugal international, Nico Gonzalez could get the nod once more despite his unconvincing display against Empoli in the humiliating Coppa Italia defeat. Kenan Yildiz could also be an option, although he prefers to play on the left-hand side. With the Turk on the right wing, Samuel Mbangula could come on the left. ............ . 12. Juventus identify two Serie A replacements for Man City bound Andrea Cambiaso Juventus are reportedly planning for a future without Andrea Cambiaso who could be heading towards Manchester City in the summer. ............ Man City could return for Cambiaso in the summer, launching an onslaught circa €60 million. They would also offer the Italy international a tempting five-year contract with a yearly salary of 6 million. These figures could be enough to seal the deal. ............ Cristiano Giuntoli and his collaborators have already set their sights on a couple of profiles in Serie A, and interestingly, one of them will be at the Allianz Stadium on Monday night. Hellas Verona’s Jackson Tchatchoua has been on Juve’s radar for quite some time now. As the source explains, the management has already met with his agent last October. The 23-year-old is a Cameroonian right-back blessed with blistering pace and decent crossing ability. ............ The alternative profile is Genoa’s Alessandro Zanoli. The 24-year-old won the Scudetto title with Napoli in 2022/23 but left the club to gain more playing time. ............ . 13. Luciano Moggi insists Motta’s mistakes is part of why Juventus is struggling Former Juventus executive Luciano Moggi has blamed Thiago Motta for some of Juventus’ ongoing problems as a club. The Bianconeri have been struggling to win as many games as they would like this season, which is making it increasingly difficult for them to stay competitive in any of the major competitions. Despite having a strong squad and a new manager, the team’s performance has been far from satisfactory. ............ While the players deserve some of the blame, with many of them failing to meet expectations at the Allianz Stadium, it is ultimately the manager who will face the most scrutiny. Moggi, known for his no-nonsense attitude and deep understanding of football, insists that Motta must take responsibility for the current situation. He believes that the coach has made several mistakes, which have contributed to the team’s poor form. ............ Moggi expressed his disappointment with Motta’s tactical decisions, saying: “Responsible for an inconceivable situation. It is true that it is not a well-rounded team and lacks leaders, but it is also true that many times players are used out of position. When they tell me about injuries, Juventus lost points with teams they should have done so with. The coach’s mistakes have brought the team to these levels. Giuntoli must lift his head from the pillow because he understands football. If I were the coach I would be ashamed, not the team. For Empoli he should be ashamed.” ............ . 14. Three favourites to take over if Juventus sacks Thiago Motta Juventus is publicly showing support for Thiago Motta, despite the team struggling for form in all competitions this season. The Bianconeri, who are used to challenging for top honours, now find themselves in a difficult position. ............ The road to improving the team’s fortunes appears long and arduous, and it is becoming harder to justify belief in Motta’s ability to turn things around. While the club continues to support him publicly, the manager’s future at Juventus remains uncertain. Juventus has already started preparing for the possibility of parting ways with Motta. The report suggests that the club is looking into potential replacements, and there are even talks of bringing in a manager from outside Italy. However, the list of potential Italian candidates is said to include Gian Piero Gasperini, Roberto Mancini, and Antonio Conte. ............ Despite this, the Bianconeri are reportedly confident they can lure one of these managers back to the club. For now, Motta still retains the support of the club’s board, and it’s possible that he will remain in charge heading into the next season. ............ At present, Motta’s lack of managerial experience is becoming evident, and there are growing concerns that the job may be too big for him at this stage of his career. While he is still considered one of the best managers for the job, Motta will need to prove he can lead Juventus to success if he is to earn another season on the bench. ............ . 15. Preview: Juventus vs. Hellas Verona - prediction, team news, lineups After hitting a new low in another sub-par season, Juventus will try to keep their top-four quest on track when hosting Hellas Verona on Monday. Having followed their recent Champions League exit with defeat in the Coppa Italia, Juve's sole focus is Serie A, where their visitors are simply fighting for survival. Match preview Despite dominating the ball against Serie A strugglers Empoli - who had just been thrashed 5-0 by Atalanta BC - Juventus failed to secure progress from Wednesday's Coppa Italia quarter-final. Trailing midway through the second half, it took a moment of magic from Khephren Thuram to avoid losing within 90 minutes, but Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz then missed penalties in a 5-3 shootout defeat. ............ For all their woes, the Bianconeri are on track to book a Champions League return for next term, following four consecutive league wins throughout February. Last time out in Serie A, Vlahovic scored 12 minutes into his first league start of 2025 to secure victory in Cagliari, as Juventus tightened their grip on fourth place. However, events in midweek soon soured the mood. As Juve have never lost a top-flight game against Verona in Turin - with a remarkable record of 28 wins and five draws from 33 previous meetings - another setback could prove fatal for Motta. ............ Team News Juventus are still burdened by a depleted defence, as young full-back Nicolo Savona and Chelsea loanee Renato Veiga recently joined several others on the sidelines. Already missing Bremer and Juan Cabal - both of whom are out for the rest of the season - and Pierre Kalulu, Thiago Motta is set to pair Federico Gatti and Lloyd Kelly at the heart of his back four. Having just returned from his latest layoff, Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz is also out of action with a flexor injury. Up front, it remains to be seen whether Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani are both retained, or if one is dropped to the bench; Vlahovic has scored six Serie A goals against Verona, including a brace at Stadio Bentegodi last August. ............ Juventus possible starting lineup: Di Gregorio; Weah, Gatti, Kelly, Cambiaso; Thuram, Locatelli; Conceicao, McKennie, Yildiz; Kolo Muani Hellas Verona possible starting lineup: Montipo; Dawidowicz, Coppola, Valentini; Tchatchoua, Niasse, Bernede, Duda, Bradaric; Suslov; Sarr We say: Juventus 2-0 Hellas Verona Juventus have conceded the fewest goals from open play in Serie A this season (12), while Verona have shipped the most (44). Add in the visitors' dismal away record against Juve - who had a flawless league record in February - and surely the home side will prevail. . 16. Toxic Juventus environment as ‘tired’ ultras announce protest for Verona game Juventus ultras announced they would boo the players, the coach and the management before and during the next home Serie A match against Hellas Verona. ............ Thiago Motta’s men have been eliminated from Coppa Italia and Champions League and have only Serie A to play for. Juventus ultras announced they would protest the players and management on Sunday, the eve of the game, and Monday, during the match. “We are the ones who follow you everywhere. Juventus is always on our minds. Rain, snow, ice, or sun, we are always there. We placed our trust in you, we wanted to believe, supporting you with enthusiasm and sacrifices,” they wrote in a statement. ............ “The Juventus fanbase is tired of you, and sadly, it is now expressing its disappointment during matches by booing and insulting, a reaction we always wanted to avoid, but your attitude and indifference towards a historic jersey like that of Juventus FC are no longer tolerable! “Enough is enough,” they continued. “You will understand what it means when we can’t take it anymore. You will feel our disappointment, hoping to spark something within you, players, coach, and management that could at least partially salvage a disastrous season that hasn’t happened in 14 years! “We invite all Juventus fans to make their voices heard and join the demonstration of our discontent both tomorrow and Monday at the stadium! TOMORROW, SUNDAY, 7:45 PM, AT THE SQUARE OF THE CURVA SUD AND THEN AT THE J HOTEL! WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP!” ............ Juventus coach Thiago Motta is under contract until June 2027, and Cristiano Giuntoli has confirmed trust in the coach, but several sources in Italy suggest the ex-Italy international will be under scrutiny until the end of the season. . 17. Kalulu back in full Juventus training after a month out Pierre Kalulu is back in the Juventus squad for full training and could feature against Hellas Verona on Monday. ............ The Bianconeri have been struggling with an injury crisis in recent weeks, especially when it comes to the defence. Along with long-term absentees Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, they also lost Nicolò Savona and January signing Renato Veiga. ............ Kalulu had been out of action for over a month after sustaining a lesion to a tendon in the right thigh against Benfica, but today took part in the full training session along with his teammates. ............ Meanwhile, coach Thiago Motta is reportedly sticking with his ‘soft’ approach to the players, keeping planned rest days and not imposing a training retreat, even after criticising their attitude in the Coppa Italia elimination at the hands of Empoli. . 18. Is Juventus expecting too much from Thiago Motta? Juventus is confident they have made the right decision by appointing Thiago Motta as their manager. The Bianconeri have backed him with some fine talents, yet the immediate results leave much to be desired, and the club is still searching for the consistency expected from a team of their calibre. ............ While Juventus is not in its best form at the moment, it is important to remember that Motta was not signed on a short-term contract. His appointment was not just for one season, which means there is naturally more time for him to get the job done and lead the team to success. The club’s board is not contemplating any drastic changes at this stage, showing their faith in the manager. Yet, despite this support, the fans are becoming increasingly restless and are eager to see more from the team.
