In lui vedevo lo sportivo che mi sarebbe piaciuto diventare, per la bravura indiscutibile, ma anche e soprattutto per lo stile e la capacità di affrontare ogni momento, stando quel tanto che basta in disparte, o semplicemente per la capacità di volare più alto degli altri, anche quando gli è piovuto fango addosso.
